Very Strong Holding Power!

I purchased three of these in 2017; one 6.7” wide, one 10.2” wide and one 20.5 “wide. I installed them on our smooth surface fiberglass tub surround. They are amazing. The large shelf holds four quart size bottles of my wife’s hair care products. My wife leaves them on the shelf when she uses the pump dispenser on the bottles which puts more force on the shelf. After about 18 months, one of the shelves came loose. I reinstalled it with the supplied vacuum pump and it was sturdy as before. I now have it marked on my calendar to use the vacuum pump on all the shelves once a year. We have well water and a water softener. The water contains a trace of salt. After three years the shelves started to show signs of rust. I removed them and painted them with silver spray paint. I then sprayed them with Rustoleum Clear Automotive Wheel Coating. They don’t have the shiny finish, but still look good. In retrospect, I wish I had sprayed them with the wheel coating when they were new. If you have a smooth surface, these will work great.

Didn't Hold

I have purchased other suction products from Wenko but for some reason, this one does not seem to be able to hold the weight of the others! I followed the directions and mounted it to the shower wall as instructed. Later that night BOOM! I only had a large bottle of shower gel and not one had used that shower that day. I installed again... Cleaning the surface area again! Adding the shower gel bottle and it held for about 39 hours when again... BOOM it fell off the shower wall.

Beware: Wrong dimensions listed on Amazon!! Screwed up its usage (for us) but amazing design!

This is 4.5" deep not 5.5" (or 6.3") as listed, in case it's a factor in where you put it or what you put in it (in my case). However, the design is incredible, looks great and seems as if it's super glued to the tile. We tried two other shelves, one suction cup and one tape based, they were both epic fails. Sad it won't hold what we needed it to and no idea what to do but it looks good.

Perfect for any shower

This is the perfect size for my apartment shower! it was really easy to put on the tile wall by following the step by step directions. I'm very happy with the product and so excited to have all my bottles off the shower floor.

This is a very good quality shelf and I have no doubts that it will hold a large amount of weight. The only annoying thing is that the instructions are slightly hard to understand, but once you have that sorted, it is a very nice product.

A great little shelf, easily fixed

This works just fine. The vacuum devices fix very securely to smooth glazed ceramic tiles. Just follow the instructions! It can be repositioned as much as you like. A great addition to the bathroom. (This item doesn't get wet, so I don't know if it would rust easily.)

Great product if it works!

It fell down after two nights. But I tried out it on again to see if it works. Finger crossed.
