Perfect to parallel EU2000 Generators

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to set up and ran my 14k BTU AC flawlessly. The cable is well made, nice construction with good thick insulation. Overall a very good value.

How can it produce up to 6,000 watts with only a 120v outlet? A 120v outlet can only send 3,600 watts. It has a 30 amp and a 50 amp outlet, but both show only 120v. “If” it had a 240v outlet, then it would allow the 6000 watts to pass through each of its outlet. I hope I’m miss understanding this. I called Wen, but they agreed that this was indeed the case. So I’m not sure if the representative understood the question or just didn’t know. Hopefully, these outlets are both 240v, then it would make since to have 2 different 3k watt generators hooked to this device.

Excellent, well designed parallel kit. Look no further.

Yet another well thought out and designed product from WEN. I bought this along with two WEN 56200i's to run the AC in my travel trailer (like so many others). While I haven't been able to use it with the AC yet, I did run a parallel test with a couple of heaters and an air compressor, just to verify that it (and both of the generators) worked properly. Yup, worked like a champ. Ran the 2 1500 watt heaters without a hiccup. Couldn't handle the additional load of the compressor, but since that is a 12 amp load, I was effectively asking the 2 generators to put out 4320 watts. They're only rated to 2000 apiece, so... As far as the design and build quality of the parallel kit, it's pretty tough to beat. It's solid, has nice connectors, and rain/dust covers for the outlets. But the best part, assuming you're using it with a WEN generator, is the clever spring/clip mechanism for attaching the parallel kit to the top of you generator (somebody has a picture of it on a Honda generator, but they don't show the back so I don't know if it's attached or just resting on top). Brilliant design, keeps it out of the way and off of the ground. And, as if that wasn't enough, it seems to be the least expensive parallel kit out there. I'm slowly developing a fondness for WEN products. They, at the least, approach the quality of the major players, at a price far, far below them (the generators are less than half the cost). Worked right out of the box, first time. Firman and Ryobi paralleled. Pulled 6A and 7A from each generator. Used 12A for AC and blower. Kept up with the demands. Previously, I needed to run the AC on its own to prevent overload condition. Recommend after first use.

Gets the job done, but it isn't perfect

I purchased this parallel connection kit for the WEN 56200i inverter generator, a pair of which I purchased for use with our RV, The parallel kit does what it is designed to do, giving us enough combined wattage to run our RV's 13,500 BTU Dometic air conditioner. Things I like: - The positive and negative shrouded/insulated "banana" connectors attach easily to the generators. - The device sits on top of the gas cap area of either generator and is secured by way of spring-loaded "claws" that grab on to two bolt holes in the handle area of the generator. It's almost clever. ;-) - It has been said that the kit is compatible with other inverter generators, such as the Yamaha EF2000iS and Honda EU2000i, although I did not test these units with the kit personally. Things I do not like: - The device feels a bit cheap. It is plastic and very lightweight. The aforementioned "claws" feel like they could snap off if not handled gently. - The ground wire is attached via a ring terminal rather than in a plug-in manner. This means having to have a small wrench or pliers on hand for attachment and removal. Losing a nut or a washer is always a concern. Keeping some spares on hand would not be a bad idea. A locking wing nut would be a wonderful substitute for those who like to make improvements to their purchased products' shortcomings. Something to ponder: How, exactly, does one ground a portable generator when camping? 8-foot ground rod? I think you see where this is going. - WEN recommends storing the kit in its original double-wall corrugated box, which requires a very tight bend of the heavy cables exiting either site of the unit. Don't do it. Store the kit in a larger box in which the kit fits comfortably. Conclusion: The product does what it should and is a reasonably good value for the price. I wish it was built better, but I think it will hold up well if not subject to too much abuse. This is not a product for use on a construction site.

Worked fine but...

I purchased based on reviews, When I received this one of the cord connectors was hanging out of the side. had to remove face plate and tighten the cord lock nut, not a big deal but should have to. also it shows a clamp system that allows you to clamp the unit to the top of the gen, the clamp system was not in the box. Regarding the power, I used two Honda's, e2200 and a e2000, everything worked great, I boondocked for 10-days in the desert and ran the Honda's daily, no issues at all. I have a volt meter inside the motorhome outlet showing volts coming in. this showed 128 volts, not sure if this is an issue but it was still in the green on my meter. when I run the RV's generator it shows 120 volts. I am no electrician but I am going to research some more to make certain no damage can occur to my motor home system. Some reviews are ambiguous regarding mixed generators use. perhaps the company can say definitively whether or not two different brand gens can be used, or two different sized gens can be used. Most are suggesting they are because the parallel cables are the same. I would use caution until then. I did use to different sized gens but the brands are the same, honda. hope this helps.

This set up is amazing an Durable. Also the cheapest way to link to inverter style gen. I had my Honda eu 3000 to Honda eu2200 with no problems running 24/7 for 4 days running my fifth wheel with 2 acs units
