Fully coated with stretch cuffs is ideal for cold weather use!
Great gloves for me as a volunteer firefighter for 50 years now! Lasts for many years of use. Fully coated, with stretch cuffs that are great during cold weather use. Unlike today's thin gloves that are only partially orange coated. No longer found in the many hardware stores that I went to. Thanks to the maker Wells Lamont, and Amazon, too, for providing this needed item!

Nice Idea, Needs Improvement.
Wells Lamont 164 Heavyweight PVC Coated Glove, Cotton Lined, Knit Wrist, One-size, Orange, by Wells Lamont. These PCV coated gloves with a fuzzy knit lining are a nice idea, but the "one size" is too small. The palm and thumb are a size medium, the fingers are size large. I have short fingers, so the finger size is ok, but I need a size XL to fit the thumb and palm area, without splitting the material between the thumb and middle finger due to a lack of slack in the palm material. I should be able to open my hand flat without restriction in the thumb to middle finger area. Wearing these gloves, if I am holding a snow shovel, my hand is closed enough to have slack in the palm area, but I can't open my hand flat. To fit everyone, these gloves should be made to fit a size XL or XX. People wearing a smaller size could wear glove liners to add warmth and fill up the glove. These gloves have insulating airspaces around the hands and fingers, but are too snug for adding wool glove liners for extra warmth, unless you have thin fingers. Gloves that are too snug will cause blood circulation restrictions, and a loss of warmth. Most men using these Wells Lamont gloves will get a better glove liner fit using thinner silk glove liners. Gigantic, huge, not human hands.
The media could not be loaded. I normally wear a M to L work glove, I was forced to give these gloves a two-star, I have no clue where they got the template for the human hand size. These gloves are gigantic extremely, extremely far too big for a normal human hand, they are far too bulky and slide around on your hands as you're working. I can fit my hand with gloves on already into these without any issue. The material is thick and feels well-made, however, the cufflink itself is just as gigantic as the gloves and with normal usage it will no doubt stretch which will allow cold air to enter into these gloves. There is no way to properly grip an item when wearing these gloves. If these gloves were three to four times smaller they would be amazing. I work with jet fuel all day and handle hoses and knobs and these are absolutely impractical to use as the size is ridiculous. U less you have huge hands I would recommend you not to buy these.

Excellent gloves, except for the cloth cuff.
Those gloves are excellent, but except the cloth cuff that tore within 3 weeks. They are very good in cold conditions, but can’t test it in extreme weather. Except the cuff, the rest of the glove is resistant to oil and chemicals.

Good buy for the money.
PVC protects your hands from harsh chemicals. You can work with hot water and still be comfortable on your hands.

Works nice for fueling at the diesel pump
They work well for protecting your hands from liquids. A bit bulky. Not going to use them for minor detail work. Great for fueling at the diesel pump. Keeps the stink of fuel off my hands. Happy with them!

The best I have found, so far...
The C&@9 I have to deal with is fairly deep, nasty and hazardous. Good for metal, though not for anything else. These gloves usually last three or four days. I wear them in all weather with nitrile/spandex gloves underneath. This is an excellent compromise between impact resistance, pinch & glove entrapment scenarios, and chemical resistance in all weather down to -20ºF where a similar mitten is required. The worst case of chemical attack took out a pair of these in two days - the best I have done is to make a pair last ten days. I work in an extremely aggressive environment with hammers, pry-bars, chains and wire rope of many sizes with a lot of grit, goo and petro-chemicals in all weather. ( Its actually quite fun, but expensive on P.P.E. ) I've bought dozens of pairs of these and I shall continue to do so.

Not good enough for outside winter work
Its looking like it's kind of warm enough to work outside but it's just a normal gloves with orange colour..
