great gloves
I bought these to wear on long walks in northern WI, they kept my hands warm in -20* weather while shoveling, can't ask for more. good grip, stayed dry

I just got these so I can't comment on the warmth yet, but the insulation is thick. They did feel really warm in the house. Putting them on for the first time was a bit tough because the insulation had not yet been dispersed around by fingers and a hand. Once I had them on I worked my fingers up to the ends and massaged my hands to get the insulation adjusted. The gloves go on fine now and are the perfect size for me. I normally wear a large size and these were ordered as a large. I will test them in the cold tomorrow. If you don't see an update to this review than it means they did well. However, I expect them to be warm; the insulation is thick. In regards to style, my wife commented that they are not as dressy as my previous gloves. However, I personally like the style. That is why I bought them. If I wanted a dressy style I would have purchased a plain black thin pair of gloves that did not keep my hands warm. These gloves suit my style. If you want business gloves to wear with your suit, then maybe these will not be for you. I like them.

Great deal / Great Fit / Great Gloves
True to size. Super comfortable and durable. Warm and water resistant. I would recommend and repurchase. They look alright too - not a terrible design. Probably wouldn’t hold up for long if you work on an oil rig or lay brick for a living. Otherwise, super solid Amazon find.

Well made and durable
Only one thing I don't fully appreciate about these gloves, not as good an insulator as I had hoped for when buying them. In moderately cold weather (say in the mid-20's F) with little to no additional wind chill have about 30 minutes before my hands first begin to feel the chill. Haven't used them in snow yet, but assuming that snow and ice will draw more heat out of the gloves, I'm expecting that first feeling of chill will come on sooner. Otherwise they fit well and are good to work with in various scenarios from yard work to mechanical repairs.

You are looking for a dressier glove that looks good with a business topcoat or casual overcoat
I will assume anyone reading this is as fussy about gloves as I am. You are outside in negative windchill factors for extended periods doing light to moderate activities (Think commuting, walking, First Night, pet walking, ). You are looking for a dressier glove that looks good with a business topcoat or casual overcoat. Fashion: The style is classy. The finish is good enough not to want leave them in the barn or on the tractor. Function: The ample primaloft is a great insulator. The leather provides good wind resistance. Wind can get into the wrist, but cuffs designed to seal out wind can detract from a dressier appearance. You could also wear these of drive fence posts, build houses, chop firewood, but I think they are too nice looking to tear up. Fit I had to return them because XL fits like an L. The fattest part of my hand is 11-1/8 and 8-1/4 from wrist break to tip of middle finger. I had to squeeze into these. Length is OK, but too tight around the back of my hand. The insulation compresses hand and reduces the thermal insulating factor (think attic insulation). No way a thin liner could fit. While not so tight as to cut off circulation, blood flow to the back of the hand is also reduced. My preference is a fit that is more loose than snug or tight. My ideal fit won't allow the glove to come off when I arc my arm down rapidly until after after 2+ swings. (Even if a glove has cuff, I can feel the movement. I will update the review if the XXL fit better and after wearing them in this arctic blast (-20 windchill factor)

Very nice
Excellent gloves, especially at this price point. Well made, warm and nice goatskin palmar aspect. Fit is a little tough for me as I would wear the XL if they were unlined so the XXL is slightly loose- not a bad thing for very cold weather though! My only gripe is that the palm kind of slips around the lining slight. While this hasn’t been problematic for me I have to figure if you are using them aggressively (such as heavy jobs) of may result in decrease lifespan or grip...

Good gloves... If you get lucky with a good pair
Let me start off by saying the gloved I ended up getting are great. Good material quality and workmanship quality. However, I had to order multiple pairs before I received one that was good quality. The first pairs were horribly stitched with loose threads and stitching all over the place. Also, the leather quality was far superior to that of the previously sent ones. See pictures for comparison. The "shinier" leather is far greater in quality than the dull looking one. The dull leather is borderline bonded leather quality. The tags one the last pair were slightly different (older looking) than that of the first pairs I received which leads me to believe that they've cheaped out on the more recently manufactured ones. Bottom line is I ended up receiving a quality pair of gloves. However you shouldn't have to play "glove roulette" to get a good pair. Quality control needs improvement.

Nice gloves for the price
Nice gloves, good fit, liner doesn't slip around, very comfortable right out of the package. To clarify, as there is some confusion on the Amazon page - they have 100% goatskin palms and 100% cowhide backs. Haven't had long enough to see how cold they are good to but it goes to -30 C here in the winter so I'll know soon enough as I often work outside all day. Took 1 star off for questionable stitching between the palms and the rest of the glove, but seem to be ok at this point. They could do better by improving the method and design of the layout of the palm and stitches. Delivered on time.

Great bushcraft gloves
Tested these gloves this weekend..cut and hauled a ton of wood. Wasn't cold once, -10°C. Definitely waterproof, quality leather so impressed I might buy another pair. The Caribiner Is so useful and always keeps gloves "handy" ???? Cooked on the fire handling very hot aluminum and they kept my hands from being bein burnt as well. Awesome gloves..

Not enough space for fingers
Ordered Large size (my usual gloves size) : the inner surface of the gloves’ fingers is insufficient for my fingers. If I remove the thermo isolation layer my fingers would probably fit into the gloves, but it won’t be warm. My fingers might be on a long-ish side, but not too much, most of the Large size gloves fit me well

Very nice and comfortable
They look great, very soft leather and they seem true to size, i bought the Xl cause that size alone was about 40% off or I’d have taken a large. Only problem is one glove seems like its been warn for about a year cause its all wrinkly. (Though its super clean and does seam new otherwise) Ill comment on water resistance and durability on followup review.
