These are very good quality, very nice, very rich looking not too thin but not too thick good feel to it it keeps out the light from the spot lights facing my window. Classy looking.

Charming!

I am SO pleased with these curtain panels (with matching tiebacks), and valence. I had invested a great deal of time in trying to find some suitable window treatment for my family room, even getting an estimate for custom window treatment that ran into nearly a thousand dollars. But I just couldn't find a fabric that seemed right. The fabric of these panels actually seemed far too busy for the room, but in desperation I ordered them anyway----and I'm very glad I did! The fabric is much like that used for good sheets, but when hung, the texture of the fabric is not what one notices. What is striking is the beautiful combination of colors: a warm golden beige background, muted gray/greens, a vivid wine, a dusty pink, and the occasional splash of yellow. I washed the curtains and dried them on medium, since I needed them to shrink---and shrink they did, by several inches. A good ironing was definitely necessary. The matching valence is absolutely charming, but for my own needs, I shortened it by ripping out the rod-pocket stitching rows, then cutting off some of the fabric and creating a new rod pocket (I wanted to preserve the scalloped edges and trim at the bottom). I used the panels to frame a large sliding glass window, and two valences above a smaller 5' slider that had no room for panels. I highly recommend these panels/valence for the beautiful combination of colors, the lovely drape of the fabric held back by the matching tiebacks, and above all---the cost! What an inexpensive way to introduce charm into the decor of ones home...

Nice everyday curtain!

The fabric is nice. I was looking for something more vintage/Arts & Crafts era for our modern craftsman bungalow home in our sunroom for privacy on one wall. The fabric color looks different throughout the day. It matches the throw pillows you can buy separately. As the sun moves during the day and goes down the curtains take on a more golden tone. They are not lined, but the design on the fabric shows through to the other side a bit. I added the hoops as I wanted the curtains to open easily. The one point off my review was due to the length not being consistent as has been mentioned in other reviews. I took the risk because I was going to have to hem them up anyway.

BACKGROUND IS DARKER THAN PHOTOS SHOW

Very nice design in keeping with the tradition of Waverly. I was disappointed that the one of the photos showed a much lighter gold color which is what I was looking for. In reality, the background color is much darker and more of a goldish tan. Fortunately it does blend in, but it's a little drab. Suggestion: I used them on a small window but purposefully bought two panels. I cut each panel down to allow for making a bottom cafe curtain. So the top swags and hits the window ledge, while the cafe curtain fills in the full bottom of window. I used clip on rings which look darling. Gives us privacy yet light from the top panels being swagged. Hope this helps.

FANTASTIC fabric and pattern!

I bought this waverly fabric from Joanne Fabric store. I made valances out of the fabric I bought. When I saw these panels that matched exactly I knew I needed to get them! Just an FYI on the care of this fabric. I think it says to dry clean them but I throw my valences/same fabric, into the laundry and they come out beautifully! If you hang them up right away you probably wouldn’t need to iron them. This patter and fabric is so fantastic. I use these for the fall and winter in Michigan. They’re a terrific weight so they work out great. I put all my blue and white dishes and decor with them and it’s a knockout. Don’t hesitate, they are stellar!

Low price-Great quality!

Despite other reviews stating these curtains were lined, they are not However, the quality is very good and they opaque enough not to see through, but yet let light in during the day. GREAT price for the high quality and the colors are true to the online pictures.

Love These! Beautiful, Rich Colors!

These are very well made curtains, not too light, not too heavy. Once I hung them up I used a small hand held steamer on them and every wrinkle came out and they hung beautifully. It's difficult to take a picture to show the colors but they have of a soft gold background. The flowers are burgundy, green and yellow. The picture online makes them look dull, they're not. The colors are very rich and brighter than the picture shows. They look like they cost so much more than they did. *My window is 32" wide. I added 2 Valances in the middle.* (Waverly 10985050X015AN Imperial Dress 50-Inch by 15-Inch Window Valance, Antique ) They really brighten our living room. I couldn't be happier.

Beautiful! But different dye lots ????

I love them, I have 100 year old wallpaper in surprisingly good condition, these curtains make the bathroom look so good, I don't need new wallpaper. Only dissatisfaction is because of different die lots on the 2 curtains, one is less vivid colors. I'll keep them though.

Impressed with These Nicely Sewn Cotton Drapes

Because the price was so reasonable, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Waverly provided a quality product. Nice cotton fabric. Well made. Deep pockets at the top to allow choice of wide or narrow rods. The pattern "Imperial Dress, Antique" met my expectations in colour and pattern. I love how they added a bit drama to my living/dining room. Cozy too.

Purchased two pairs, got different curtains

Update: I just dag another curtain out of today's parcel and it is like the other pair I ordered before! So i got two different curtains in my parcel! Beware - there is a huge quality difference between the two (see the third photo). The one on the left is one better. As to me, I am even more confused now... should I order a third pair and see what surprise i get this time?.. I bought this item two times - the first pair was purchased in May, I only got one pair because I wasn't sure if my husband would like these curtains. In an hour I went back online to get another pair (he came home and approved) - only to find out that the price has increased more than twice!!! Okay... we saved (we are renovating, so every penny counts), and purchased another pair yesterday, for twice the price (because we loved them!). They arrived 5 min ago, and these are DIFFERENT. They look severely washed out. The contours of the pattern are blurred, there is no definition. The outline is vague watery khaki instead of being sharp and defined deep brown. The greens are washed out too, the foliage on the first pair of curtains is much more bright. Even the fabric is different - the first pair had more coarse 100% cotton jacquard fabric with a dense weave, the second one is significantly softer (feels like it has synthetics), and the weave is more loose. I am attaching the pictures with the first (better) pair being on the left and the newer (worse) one being on the right. As you can see, the seams on the tiebacks are different too. The second pair lacks a few - there is no top seam (by the ring), and no side seam whatsoever. What am i supposed to do?!! I cannot hang them side by side. They are DIFFERENT.

Inconsistent Quality and Colours

Purchased 4 panels, received 3 different lots. Only two of the panels matched exactly. The other two had different colour tones and the fabric was also different (one was much thinner and smoother and the other was thicker and rougher). The difference was obvious as soon as I opened the box as the plastic wrapping around each panel was different on two of the panels. They also had different sticker codes on them, while the other two did not. This should have been caught with Amazon's quality control. Disappointed as I already have the bedding set, which is gorgeous, and wanted drapes to match. Now trying to find two panels elsewhere that match the two I want to keep.
