Caution: Nothing is adjustable

I’m a short person and still the straps are too short and spread too far apart on my shoulders with no way to adjust them. Because the straps are too short, the bra rides high and barely covers my chest (post bilateral mastectomy). Only one row of hooks and eyes, so no way to adjust that part either. It fits, more or less, but isn’t comfortable. I do not recommend this bra for post mastectomy use.

Quality bra. Runs small.

Comfy, front closure bra which is great for post bilateral mastectomy. I have a lot of Wacoal bras prior to surgery and I ordered this one based on my normal Wacoal size. This bra runs small in my opinion. It is soft but it felt uncomfortable shortly after post surgery. When I was more healed, it was more comfortable. It is a Wacoal so it is a quality bra.

Straps are short

I bought this to wear with a lumpectomy breast form. It serves the purpose without wires or unduly stiff fabric. It closes in the front with 8 hooks, so not the easiest bra to close. The other issue I have is the straps. They are rather short and not adjustable. At 5’7”, I am taller than average, but hardly a giant. Still, the straps dug into my shoulders dreadfully. Fortunately, I can sew, so I added 6” of elastic to each strap. With that modification, it’s OK.

Compression

I've been trying to find a comfortable yet supportive front opening bra. That's a hard find. This bra is getting closer to that goal. The thing I like about it is the depth of it. It is longer than most front opening bras and therefore gives better coverage. It does not dig in to your shoulders. I would classify it as a compression bra so there is no jiggle at all. It makes a full busted person look almost flat chested. At 83, I'm not looking for perky so this will not be an issue for most of the time when I'm just wearing casual dress. It is comfortable and supportive. But, like I said before, not yet the ideal bra for me. I would buy another one. Also recommend hand wash and dry. Excellent quality.

I was annoyed to see that the "nylon" advertised is actually polyamide, a petroleum derivative, which is not what I want my skin absorbing. The bra smells a little chemically. If you take a size 36, in reality the band size you want is around 29 inches or so. This band was 23". It is very tight compression. Not what I was expecting.

Great after explant surgery

I needed a compression bra after explant surgery and these have been great. I’m a 32D and I ordered the 32. It feels snug but not too tight. As a compression bra you want it to feel secure. If you order too large a band size it would probably ride up. This bra doesn’t irritate my incision line and the material is soft. I would recommend this bra after breast surgery to anyone needing a compression bra. This is much more comfortable than the compression bra provided by my surgeon.

Clasps easilyBreak

I love this bra but the other day when I went to put it on I noticed that one of the closure clasps was out of shape and would not close . I tried fixing it myself but was not successful. It’s a lot to spend on a bra I only got to wear for two months
