This purse is nearly an exact replica of my favorite I've had for about 15 years. As my old one has aged I keep saying, I just need a couple more inches all the way around and this bag would be perfect. (Ha - that's what she said - I know)... My old bag looked like a huge balloon ready to pop after I have everything I need in it - I've reduced as much as I can.... It says that it is genuine leather and removable tags on the bag also say this. The texture is very smooth... To be honest, it doesn't really feel like real leather... but who knows? The texture is so perfect, not usually the case with leather - there is always a flaw somewhere... on the flip side, perhaps this is just a really fine quality. I am hoping that it is real and will become as supple as my old bag with some wear and use. The stitching seems really good. I also hated the skinny strap of my old bag... the new bag has a lovely strap that is about an 1" in width... for me, just right - and so much more comfortable.... but everyone has a personal preference. I like that I can shoulder it or crossover, which I do when I need my hands free - doesn't bother my back as much as just shouldering it. There is plenty of adjustment on the strap for the hang length as well... I am about 5'8" and there was spare length at about low belly/high hip. When you open the flap there are a couple of magnetic envelope pouches, the largest fits my new LG G4 perfectly, three slots and a zippered area. In the main body of the bag there are two zippered organizers and a couple of side slots, that would hold a very small cell phone, keys fobs or other things you want to reach quick - too short for reading glasses, though... The bag itself isn't terribly heavy which is good. When I "load" it with everything I need it's still reasonably weighted... 3-5 lbs (?) It came with a storage/dust bag, a nice touch, although it will probably not spend much time in it. It arrived quickly (I have prime) along with some other things I had ordered. I will be updating with any wear or other issues as necessary. I will try to include some pics if they get past the censors and they include my old bag for reference as well as a 12" ruler for comparison. 8/27/2015... I have been using this bag exclusively for a few weeks. It's STILL my fav. I should also add that if you wanted to you could slide in a kindle or an IPAD if you wanted to. I have the larger Kindle and when I am going somewhere I know I will be waiting, I slide it in. I am seriously considering buying a second one to have a backup when this one gives out, hopefully years from now. :) Could go with a different color... but honestly I usually buy the black as it goes with everything, all year. But that's just me. I did get a like smudge of something grayish/white. I used a little leather cleaner and wiped it off, a very slight amount of black come off too, but didn't leave any noticeable trace. So I am ok with that. It has NOT left any color on my clothing. And I have been in damp area with rain/mist and/or sweaty humidity - so... I think that is good. I will continue to update with any issues or other thoughts.

Professional/elegant bag for women who need to keep their precious belongings in pristine condition

I had gone through bag after bag that eventually, from walking outdoors in whatever weather, had taken their beating. I purchased anything from cloth bags to imitation leather. They either cracked or the seams had ripped out. So for the work that I'm in, I decided I needed some good quality, durable leather that looks very professional and elegant as well. I spent months and months searching for that perfect bag. I'm pretty sure some women can identify. ;) A year prior, I had searched for a perfect bag for my husband (who works with me and sorely needed a new bag). I had finally purchased him one by Visconti (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0088QMSB2/ref=twister_B013IXP68Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) and it works perfect for him and the leather quality is amazing. So I looked at the Visconti store on Amazon to see if they had any for women. Low and behold they did! This bag is a little bigger than his. The leather is beautiful and high quality with a really nice, rich color as well (I purchased the brown). I bought this to carry magazines, books (various sizes) and a tablet through any kind of weather. This bag looks very professional and elegant if your work requires dress clothes. The bottom is not very firm but not a deal breaker. I was a little surprised by the middle divider/zipper. All it is made up of is fabric so it's difficult to keep things in 2 different sections if that's a must for you. I simply cut a piece of cardboard that size and slipped it in there so I can keep my items divided. I love the amount of pockets in this bag especially in the front in case you need to quickly grab something from your bag. It can be worn as a shoulder bag or used as a crossbody bag. It even maintains its look in light rain! All of my previous bags were slightly smaller that this one, so this took me a little getting used to. But I really enjoy it. It works perfect for me and looks beautiful too. I highly recommend this if you searching for that perfect bag and need something that will maintain it's professional look.

I am in love with this bag

I wanted to wait until I had used this item a few weeks after using this bag before posting a review. I am in love with this bag! The quality is better than I expected and there are also more compartments than I expected. The company should take better product pictures. The leather is a great quality. Lots of secure zipper areas. I have a feeling I will be using this bag for many years to come. It helps me keep everything organized and it is a great for business, work or school. If you have a smaller size laptop like a 13” it would also work great for holding tablets or a small computer. I am using it like a purse/business bag. It feels sturdy and durable and like it will last a long time. I am going to attach some product photos (please forgive the bad fluorescent lighting). There is a zipper on the inside of the lid of the bag and also on the back exerior.

Perfect in all ways but one: the color

This is exactly what I was looking for, a crossbody bag that's long enough for my 5'10" frame (with the strap fully extended) and room for everything *without* being overly bulky. My 11" MacBook Air slides in snugly, and the cell phone pocket amply holds my iPhone X. The leather is soft. BUT I ordered red, and it is a much deeper maroon than the picture shows. Even so, I will keep it. In the photo, I've placed it behind an old red backpack for contrast.

Beautiful, great quality, comfy

I bought this bag in black and have been using for about 2 months now. Once I got my mind around the vast number of compartments, I organized all my stuff and now find things really quickly finding the compartments quite useful. It is very comfortable and professional looking. The quality is very good, it looks like an elegant, expensive bag. I am very happy with it and feel confident it will last a very long time.

Not bad quality wise, well made, leather wasn't what I was expecting though. Update:08-aug-2020.

Wonderful for organization, sleek and practical. Leather quality wasn't as nice as I was expecting. Thin, bonded leather feels a little like material vs real leather. Update: 08-Aug-2020; About to buy my second one. Considering what I put this bag through, it held up amazingly well. So I am eating my words and buying a second one. Easily one of the longest lasting and well designed bags I’ve owned.
