It's a great cue and it's cheaper than re-felting!
I wanted to buy a pool table for most of my life but never had the chance to. Due to a very recent break up I decided to start myself a fun filled mid-life crisis and guess what the first thing I bought was... Yep I got myself that pool table, the problem was that my kids were never factored into the whole thing. I got some pretty awesome pool cue's for myself and a couple of my very close buddies and I got a few house cue's for everyone else. Well I didn't think my 9 year old son would get into playing pool since it's not powered by electricity and it doesn't connect to the internet - boy was I wrong as can be. That little dude was out there with the big boys begging to play, so dad had to let him use dad's cue. Turns out he was pretty awesome but the 20 oz., full length cue was a bit much for him and as a result my felt started paying a toll... This cue was the perfect size and weight for him and now dad finally knows who's going to carry on the family pool shark tradition. I've even got him saying things like "I'm sure glad we're not playing for money uncle" or "I hope I don't scratch on this shot, I always scratch on these hard shots" - it's amazing and he absolutely loves it - so does my felt! If you've got a smaller person who wants to rack 'em and crack 'em with you this thing is perfect!

Both fine sticks and reasonably priced!
A well crafted and attractive stick, which I highly recommend buying! The black and white color combination on the 48-Inch Jr. (16-Ounce,Spider) Billiard Cue...along with it's attractive spider web-eight ball design; great craftsmanship; and woven grip, makes this an ideal stick for youngsters just learning the game or for those folks who are making a shot, but simply don't have enough room to execute it properly. Like the 58 1/2-Inch (19-Ounce,Spider Rampage) it has a clear coating, which prevents scratches and keeps your stick looking good for many years. The clear coating also cuts down on friction allowing the shaft to move freely through your fingers when making a shot. Chafing of the hands too is less likely when using a cue with this kind of protective coating! Viper's longer version of this cue is similar in design, though the grip is made of a non slip rubberized material imprinted with the coolest looking spider's web you've ever seen. I guarantee you'll receive more than a compliment or two from your friends on just how great your 48-Inch Jr. Spider Billiard Cue looks! The 19-Ounce 58 1/2-Inch Spider Rampage can also be found online for around $100.00, so you may want to consider purchasing both cues. HAPPY SHOOTING ONE AND ALL!

Great little training stick
We had Vahalla's for us, and the kids liked our sticks. My 7 year old was struggling with the stick length. I was so glad to find this kid's stick. The shorter length works and she is less frustrated, and able to improve. Keeps playing fun vs listening to whining lol.

Outstanding cue for the price, awesome pattern detail, rolls straight and true!
Needed a variety of cues for the billiard room, and wanted some shorter ones as well. I like unique patterns, and this caught my eye--as did the price, under 30! Purchased it figuring that, it would be your typical "$25" stick--probably have a slight bend, some blemishes, etc. It hit my doorstep in 2 days, and I opened the package. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this is what I would call a "$75 stick" for 25 bucks! The pattern is crisp, high quality/definition, and really looks awesome. The stick rolls STRAIGHT AND TRUE! The tip is perfectly center. Best of all, this thing shoots sharp, crisp and clean. I've found myself using it a lot, despite my more expensive higher-end cue collection! Great for the kids, or tight spaces, or anyone who wants to shoot with a "fun" cue. PROS: * Excellent price, fast shipping * Great pattern/looks * Rolls straight/true, tip is perfectly centered * Shorter for tight spaces or smaller folks, but long enough for everyone to enjoy using * Nylon wrapped handle is pretty awesome.

Great Cue!
I ordered this cue to get a higher quality cue for those shots taken in close quarters and tight spots. I ordered strictly based on the reviews and reasonable cost. Since the purchace worked out so well, I am compelled to write my first review and pay it forward. I am VERY happy with this purchase! Outstanding quality for a little stick. It makes me want to track down the father of this cue...it's that good. Great solid feel, smooth feel. Well worth it. This would make an awesome junior cue for younger pool players that want to get serious...maybe the slightly larger cue would be better for that purpose though. I went with the 48". Good luck and order with confidence !

Great quality for the money
So my 12 year old son wanted to learn how to shoot pool. I did quite a bit of research and found this cue. Viper has always been great quality for an average budget. Very impressed by the play, feel, and graphics on this cue. My son loves it, and we go out and shoot just about every weekend.

What a treat!
I get a call from a friend saying "Hey bud, you wanna pool table?" I said, "I haven't got room for one." Well, my nine year old hears this and says, "Dad!! Dad!! Pleeeease dad, we have to get a pool table!" Two days later the garage is cleaned out, the table is in, the lights are up, the red bull fridge from craigslist is up and running..yahoo!! The table came with some accessories, some of which were some one piece cues. I though it a treat to secretly buy a jr. cue on amazon.ca for my little guy who actually has a decent stroke but needs to work on chalking up every shot. Anyway, the Viper cue shows up within a couple of days and I hand the box to my kid, man, you should have seen his eyes light up when inside was the coolest thing he ever saw! I used to be snooker ref. back in my prime and had a B+ rating in my ol' nineball tourney days, WHAT A NICE CUE!! It is a two piece, great feel and a firm weight to it. Instantly my son started to cue every shot and we are on our way to having lots of fun over the years. You will be impressed with your purchase, I was!

Good little 48" cue
Bought it for my son and it turned out to be better than expected. It as straight, has a nice grip, look fantastic and plays great. Heck even ive used it in some tight spots and made the shot.

I just bought it to replace one of my entry level cue stick which had off centered but now its my main cue. Its very good quality and certainly did not expect this for the price
