Verdict is out on these...

I tracked these down because I had them in 3 colors 3-4 years ago and, until they started to wear out, they were easily one of the most flattering, versatile and comfortable sandal styles I'd ever worn. The scale of the straps is simple/comfortable, yet somehow sexy -- I've had strangers compliment them. The heel height is perfect to flatter the leg line but be comfortable -- in the past, I'd gone all day on my feet (teaching, at conferences, on vacation...) and even run in them and been comfortable. However... when I ordered them this year (in black and in the pale grey that is actually slightly seafoam), having worn each of them one day, I haven't been able to get through a day in them. 1) Vince Camutos usually run a half-size small. I ordered my usual VC size 7, which fits, but the arch span feels slightly longer (so my foot falls more) than on other VCs 2) the strap across the toes on earlier versions was a flat piece of (I believe synthetic) leather, but this year it is a folded/seamed piece of leather. While every pair of Vince Camutos I've ever worn has broken in to be extremely comfortable, SO FAR, I'm wearing Mickey Mouse bandaids to pad the top of my big toe wear the hardness of the strap wears, and even so had to take them off to get through the last hour of the day. If they break in better so that they are not uncomfortable, I'll come back and update the review. One last complaint: these are way overpriced. When I bought them in the past, I paid $35, $50 and $65 for them. The $95 that vendors are currently charging is way overpriced, especially considering the fit is worse than in the past and the fact that espadrille shoes tend to wear out faster. If I were not so desperate to replace shoes this month, I never would have paid it. The price needs to be lower.

Fits tight at front of foot

Got this shoe in mink and black both in size 9. LOVED the look and feel of the mink, but it was really tight in the front part of the foot like others said. I figured I was going to have to return both pairs, but when I put the black pair on they were much wider. Almost too wide in the same area. The black might be a tad big, but for the price (the black were cheaper) I’m keeping them. I just wish the mink fit the same way because those were exactly what I was looking for.

Runs small order 1/2 size larger

The shoe was cute and fabric was soft, but the this shoe is running 1/2 size small. I wear 7 normally and it did not fit as expected. I bought them to wear to work standing all day and I don't think these will work out for me. Makes your foot look small though.

Run a little tight

Love everything about these shoes but have had to go up one full size. My feet are a little wide…. Started with an 8 then went to an 8 1/2 and finally Size 9 Love the look of the shoe and the quality though

Pretty sandals

Very hard leather for being a camuto and not too comfortable. Did not come in original packaging and have my doubts of it being a name brand shoe. Once broken in they did feel a lot better. Received many compliments.

Cute but it ruined my toes

Very cute and nice but ruined my toes. The front straps design too low that it cuts the circulations of my toes and it causes blisters.

Super belles et confortables!

J'ai cherché de sandales type espadrilles confortables et chics et ces sandales sont parfaites pour m'aider à réussir le look que je cherchais. J'ai hesité beaucoup pour la taille, normalement je suis 37 (donc 6 et 1/2 en taille des États-Unis), mais souvent il m'est arrivée de recevoir de chaussures trop grandes pour moi. Dans ce cas, la taille 6 et 1/2 a été parfaite! Vraiment très contente de les avoir! :)

Order correct size as US sizes can be a hit & miss

Lovely sandals but bit pricey.. look forward to wearing them for summer & holidays nxt year.. bought the 7.5 us size which is a size 5 Uk. Bit snug but hopefully will stretch once wear.. love Vince camuto shoes but find them very expensive on Amazon.
