Vim,... a must have in any toolbox and worth every penny.
I never owned a Vim product in my life. After purchasing the drivers and using them on almost anything I could use them on, I am really impressed with the quality. A couple of times I have missed lining up the end to the nut and driver just right and it being secure. Squeezing the trigger on the impact the top edges of the nut slightly rounded. With other drivers in the past this mistake easily rounded the inside of the driver head but not with a Vim driver. The driver will round the nut and to date I can see no damage has occurred to the driver itself. These drivers are tough tough tough. The magnetic drivers are a bonus especially in really tight spots. This set has really turned me on to Vim product. I will be purchasing more of the products in the future based solely on the quality of these drivers. Wow is all I can say.

Includes the hard to find 9/16, but my set had an error
This would easly be a 4-5 star review except for one thing. The manufacturer made an error packing my set, which I feel is unacceptable. The set is supposed to contain one magnetic, and one non-magnetic nut setter sizes 1/4 to 9/16 inch. I got two magnetic 5/16 inch sizes, and no magnetic 1/4. Not a big deal to me personally, as I wear out a couple 5/16 drivers a year, so I just bought a single 1/4 to complete the set. However to someone just wanting a full set to have around, this could be a deal-breaker. The quality of the drivers is excellent, though, and the case is one of the best I have seen, the lid closes with a latch, and the bits themselves snap in tightly, giving almost no chance of losing a bit. I'm sure my error was just a fluke, but thought I'd better mention it. One little bit to add: these bits have a deep hex in them. When they wear to the point of not grabbing the nut/bolt head tightly, you can easliy grind or file down the worn part, exposing the un-worn part of the socket. For the magnetic ones, a light tap on the magnet with a punch sets it deeper so you can get full purchase on the bolt head. Just be careful not to drive it so deep it won't hold the bolt.

Must have nut-drivers for the gear-head.
If you own one of the cordless 1/4 inch hex drive impacts, this it a tool set you must have. I have been using Apex brand magnetic nut-drivers purchased locally for many years and have no complaints. However what was always missing was a nut-driver with clearance for the screw or bolt that was protruding from the nut. This set solves the problem by providing both a magnetic driver and a hollow shaft driver of each size and a nice storage case to boot. I have a machine shop and do a lot of equipment repairs, especially on generators and portable welders. I use these tools almost every day and have had zero failures and no disappointments. They are as good as my Panasonic cordless tools, which are simply the very best cordless tools made. This set is also available as metric in part number NSM100. Get both.

Excellent Impact Drivers
These are very well made. I am a commercial electricain and have used these daily for over a year. I am very impressed with the quality, not a single driver has begin to wear yet. I will be buying vim tools from now on.

Kinda looks odd at first glance
Is it SAE or metric? Look at the label in the photo. LOL. The metric box IS properly labelled. Product appears to be of good quality but time will tell. I'm optimistic.

This is a nice set - it's great to have both magnetic and hollow shanks in the same sizes, and very nice to have a sticker with the inventory inside the case lid. I dropped one star only because it would have been nice to have some way to distinguish the metric and SAE cases - maybe mold them in different colors, for example. I just wrote "METRIC" on the outside of the metric ones with a Sharpie, but that's kind of lame.

NOT FOR IMPACT, for *drivers* only. Contains 6 magnetic & 6 non-magnetic nut-drivers...
These are for drill/driver type things, NOT for impact-drivers. Yes they are properly made, yes sometimes being able to NOT magnetize things is needed ( or outright a blessing! ) sometimes you aren't even allowed to have magnets touching what you're working on... but I wish they'd been clearer that these are not impact-capable. So, I'll STILL have to find/buy the Makita set... HTH!
