Smells just like Midnight from Yankee Candles - Amazing & Sensual

I first found this candle at Wal-Mart yrs ago. It is no longer available, so I was thrilled to see it on Amazon. Of course, it's more expensive than Wal-Mart. But I expected that. Pros: The scent is like a sensual, expensive unisex cologne. It's not overwhelming, yet it gives a room a classy and upscale fragrance. The 2 wicks burn evenly, which is important to using the entire candle. The fragrance used is not too much in the candle. Using too much fragrance oil will make the candle turn smokey and make the scent smell burnt. ** You can tell if there's too much fragrance oil in the jar by looking to see "wet or slick" places scattered around inside. It will also look"frozen" in some places. The wicks do not slide back down into the candle. They don't bend over when burning, making one or both wicks unable to be lit again. It can be put on Subscribe and Save. *"Please be sure to trim the wicks after each burn. This will ensure the candle doesn't smoke when lit again. A decent wick trimmer can be found on Amazon. I also recommend a bendable lighter. This will make lighting the candle when it gets low easy. I have no reservations in recommending this wonderful candle. Cons: The price. This candle will be cost prohibited for some people, especially if they aren't Prime members.

Candle melted in transit

I like scent of this candle. I had the smaller jar so I decided to buy the large apothecary jar. It arrived on time, however, the cardboard box it sat in was covered with oil so I knew the candle was probably broke. The jar was not broken. Instead the candle melted in transit and all the wax melted to one side and oozed out the lid. I have a large candle warmer so I’m hoping it will melt it to a normal form for flame burning. So I was disappointed but crossing my fingers this works and the fragrance is not lost.

If you have breathing problems do not buy this candle. I have another yankee candle and it is perfectly fine, but this specific scent will make it very hard for me to breathe.

Pretty good

The scent was good and it lasted quite a while. The only problem I had was with the wick. Either it was too short to begin with, or the wax just didn't dissipate fast enough, but I had to keep pouring the wax into another candle (which was a much smaller one) so it'd keep lit. (Surprisingly, the other candle could handle both candles' wax without going out.)

Soft Scent

This fragrance is nice, earthy. Some say it's more masculine. I think because of the woodsy smell. I love Village candles far more than Yankee. I felt like this candle did not have the scent-throwing power that other Village candles do. When placed in a smaller, more confined area, the fragrance is more noticeable. Not so in larger rooms.

As good as the other brand.

This is a good fragrance - fresh, pleasant, complex, with just the right strength. I was afraid a Village Candle Large Jar, with its two wicks, would burn away twice as quickly as the 'major' American brand, but it doesn't. I shall certainly buy this brand again. What I would say is, with both brands, do get a pack of assorted votive samplers first. The fragrances vary greatly in intensity, and if you spend on a large jar just on the basis of the name and description of the fragrance, without trying it first, you may be disappointed.

I'm a Yankee candle fan but they don't have a scent like Village candle's Bamboo

Very masculine scent. Deep and moody. The twin wicks definitely prevent the tunnelling but also I find the wax pools quicker so that the scent fills the room quicker. I'm a Yankee candle fan but they don't have a scent like Village candle's Bamboo. I love it.
