Candle is always great. Reseller Stonewall Kitchen adds an $11.50 " S&H " charge to the $21 item. Buy candle elsewhere as most do not add this. They did refund me fyi

Double wick
The Village Candle 21.25 oz is a double wick and unlike single wick candles this size, burns more satisfactorily and leaves no wax behind when done.

Flame goes out.
First of all I must say that the aroma on all the candles I’ve purchased is remarkable!!! I have purchased at least five different scented candles and they are all the same with the strong scent. Secondly I come to the problem. In all the candles the flame goes out after burning approximately 45 minutes. As soon as the wax melts it snuffs out the candle. It is so disappointing that after about 1/4 of the wax is gone they are useless. I’ve even tried pouring out most of the wax but the problem starts again.

These are the BEST candles!!!
I am never going back to any other brand of jar candles! I actually bought my first 2 Village Candles for Halloween this year. I had some cute glass “lampshades” (from another so-called similar candle company) that only work on traditional jar candles. I wanted to try a new scent, so I ordered this brand and I was blown away!! The fragrance is perfect- not overpowering but strong enough to leave a little behind for a day or two. I’ve tried 5 different scents now and all are delicious and not cheap smelling. But people, let me tell ya- THE BURN RATE!! The first night, I let those babies go for a solid 8+ hrs during a dinner party. Went to extinguish them expecting a solid few inches to be down, but not even close! These babies burn forever!!! The photos is of one of those first candles- regular burns for weeks and weeks and look how much is left! Still at least 25% left. Anyway- this Balsam scent is amazing, the perfect fresh tree smell, and it’ll last you the entire season. Just get one!

An adequate candle
I began by enjoying the candle scent, but it became a little too sweet and cloying rather than the crisp scent I associate with a fir Christmas tree. By the 4th time I lit it, the dark green wax has turned black!

Nice candle
These candles are some of the best I have burned . Very little , if any , soot . The fragrance smells just as you would expect without the fake perfume smell . These candles do not give me a headache. Slightly expensive but if I cannot buy soy or beeswax candles , then this is the next best cansle

Will purchase again
For years we have been bringing home 'Bath & Bodyworks' Balsam candles from the US, but have been looking for a UK-available alternative (the US is a long way to go just for a candle). This is a nice alternative. Not as great as its US cousin - burn isn't as long and it doesn't retain that fantastic balsam scent for a long as either - but it's a lovely smell to have burning of an evening, adding to the smell of a real Christmas tree. Will purchase again.
