GOT RID OF MY INVASIVE BUBBLE ALGAE!!!! The ONLY Thing That Worked!!!!
I had been struggling dealing with a complete takeover of bubble algae in my tank and nothing was working. Every water change, I'd have to brush off bubbles, net them out, water change and suck out the rest, and then a week or two later, I'd be back at the same place. I saw online Vibrant worked for bubble algae and tried it with no success because I was dosing per the instructions on the bottle. You actually need to dose MORE than what the bottle says to have it work on bubble algae. I did my usual process, and then started to overdose on Vibrant and it has truly been AMAZING seeing how those pest bubble algae have basically completely disappeared. I'm literally shocked and completely mind blown. This stuff is a MIRACLE and worth every penny if you're dealing with this like I have been for YEARS. I had even tried things like Foxface, Emerald Crabs, you name it. The ONLY thing to work so far to get rid of this pest is this stuff. AMAZING. I really can't say enough and how happy I am with the results. My tanks is very clear and clean as well, so the stuff is amazing overall. I will keep using it to dose in the tank until the bottle is empty. Unfortunately, I have no before and after pictures. I had honestly just accepted bubble algae as a part of my tank until I found this stuff and saw the advice to overdose for bubble algae. I hope this helps!!!!!

I ended up getting saltwater fish and aquarium from other people that turned out to have really bad red hair algae! After cleaning it this stuff really got rid of the algae stuck on the hermit crab shells and places I couldn't scrub it off!

Gets Rid of GREEN BUBBLE ALGAE
Our tank was being taken over by green bubble. We brought emerald crabs to eat it and they would die in less than 3 days. With no solution in site other than my husband popping them, so they would go away; I know. Anyway this stuffed worked and it worked fast, about 95% of the algae is gone and the tank looks better than It ever has in 20 years. None of the fish were harmed by the treatment, and the clean up crew is back to doing their jobs. I highly recommend this product A+++

There’s 2 versions. This is the Non-reef version!
There’s a misprint by the seller that it is “coral” safe. This is the “saltwater” which is fish only version. Amazon does not sell the “Reef” version. The coral or reef version says “reef” on it. This one says Saltwater only on the front. So for those reviewers who had negative results on corals, that’s probably why. If you want the reef version you have to buy on a different site or from your Local fish store. So chose your version carefully. Because of the misleading information, I give this a 3 rating. Now if used correctly, it works on algae that can be easily blown away or scraped easily. Therefore it does not really work on tough algae (like green hair or bubble algae). For those really tough algaes that you have to pull off with your fingers, you’ll need Fluconazole. (Research Fluconazole treatment for green hair algae.). Now for the algae that grows on the sand and glass that can be easily scraped or blown off with a turkey baster, this stuff really works on preventing those types of algae to grow. So chose the correct version of this stuff, and it will aid in ridding some types of algae.

There are two versions of this, one for reef tanks (which include coral) and one for fish only tanks. This is for fish only so the description needs to be updated. I returned my bottle because of that mistake.

Getting rid of algae
I’ve been having an algae problem but was afraid to add a chemical to kill it and have done everything without winning the battle. This seems to actually be getting rid of it and not harming any of my fish or corals. Very happy with this product

This stuff works!
So, I had bubble algae that was at plague proportions. A fair amount of other types of green algae as well. As I have been fighting the bubble algae for years with ups and downs, I figured I had nothing to lose. I started dosing Vibrant once a week, at double the recommended dose. I immediately saw a change in the amount of diatoms on the glass, and I did not have to clean the glass anymore. The green algae on the rocks faded away over the course of a few short weeks. Now to the bubble algae: It took several months of weekly double doses to kill off the bubbles and it didn't do it by itself. I noticed that they would get a white film rather than be shiny, happy and all proud of themselves. So, I went to Harbor Freight and bought a 36" drill bit set. I grabbed the thin one and went to work. I also put filters on my powerheads to catch them. Long story short, I am now bubble algae free. I have a few LPS and anenomes, but I am mostly SPS. I have a huge skimmer as well. About 200 gallons total water volume. No negative effects on anything other than algae. I read other review where they claim it killed everything. Maybe, but probably because of the killing of algae that occurs and not having a system in place to take care of the resulting pollution of the tank. I took the chance and couldn't be happier.

911, dose and its done!!
WOW. I have been a hobbyist for almost 50 years and in the industry for 15, I have NEVER seen or used a product that works this fast and clean on green algae. I used it on my 30 nano grow out tank that was suffering from green algae that would color the water and cover rocks three days after water changes. I dosed per directoons and in 24 hours, yes, 24 hours, the green water was gone and in 72 all algae from rocks was removed. I let sit for a week, did my 30% water change, and no algea returned. I would love to know what the other 3.5% of ingredients are, but whatever it is, it works. No harm to the corals, zoo's, clams, snails, fish, or micro critters that I can see. I will recommend this to all my customers with new tank set ups as well. Worth every dime.

Killed algae and £250 worth of corals
This stuff is poison. Within days of dosing I saw corals losing tissue, all corals. Acros, monti’s, acans, chalice etc this poison kills algae but has wiped out £250 worth of corals. Poor packaging too it arrived leaking so returned for a refund and bought elsewhere. Wish I hadn’t. Please don’t use this people if you have corals it will kill some. Not all but some.

First time trying this product and not having a good experience at the moment... received a leaking bottle and algae is still booming. I will give it some time and will update the review if need to.

Poor shipping!
Vibrant Marine is a fantastic product I’ve used it in the past. The bottle arrived leaking! I couldn’t believe the bottle was shipped in a plastic satchel with no protection.
