Good pants for the office
Nice, well-fitting pants. The length was just at the ankle, the rise was comfortable and they fit good at the waist. Nice, dark chocolate color. I tried wearing light beige shoes and beige socks with these pants, but because the color of the brown panrs is so dark, the color of the shoes and socks stuck out too much and didn't contrast well with the sark pants as well as I'd hoped. I broke the not-wearing-black-shoes-with-brown-pants rule and tried them with black shoes and dark socks and they paired well. Phew. Update: Keep your lint brush handy as these pants are lint collectors. Also, the button on the inside of the waist band fell off after 1 wash, so get your sew kit out. An easy fix.

Bigger than I thought.
Ok, these are super comfy, but also very loose in the seat and legs. The waist band fits just right. There is only one pocket, a tiny one, and it's sewn shut. I'll have to take a seam ripper to it if I want to use it for anything. I'm 5'3" and had to hem up several inches, and the bottom is very wide, but straight, not flared, and it's not exactly flattering. The material is thin and doesn't seem especially durable, though it would be fine for an office environment. I tape measured myself to see which size to get. I was a higher size based on my waist and the next smaller size based on my hip. I chose the larger size. If I were to buy these again, I'd choose the smaller. I'll wear these, but I'm not sure I'd recommend them or buy them again.

Work-appropriate, comfortable, flattering, machine washable... What's not to love?
I am SO glad that I bought these slacks! I'm 5'5" and 245 lbs; I purchased size 20W and the length was just a wee bit long (I cannot wear heels) but I still wear them - they just barely touch the ground in the back if I don't hike them up when I stand up, but it's really not a big deal. They are work-appropriate, comfortable, flattering, and machine washable... what more could a girl want? Well, I wish there were pockets, but that's a minor quibble. Weird, because there appears to be lining for pockets inside but the opening is stitched in the middle, allowing space for one finger on either side and rendering the "pockets" useless. I could snip the stitch but I don't want to screw anything up. Even with the very minor issues I mentioned, I give these slacks five enthusiastic stars and will be purchasing additional pairs in a few months when my budget allows.

Found my perfect fit dressy slacks
I wanted a nice pair of well-fitting dressy slacks. I had ordered four different pairs of slacks in the past two months without finding total happiness with the overall fit. I ordered a pair of these Ruby Rd. slacks in my regular size, fingers crossed. When they came, I tried them on and laughed because they were really big! Fit okay in the waist but the legs were too full. (with my knees, that is really saying something.) I returned them to Amazon and ordered the next size down with one-day delivery. They came, I tried them on, and I am delighted with the fit. Perfect fit in the waist, the thighs, the knees, the length. The fabric feels so silky smooth. I am going to order another pair in a different color so my wardrobe will be complete. 5 stars. So happy I have found these slacks and this brand.

Very nice, but run a bit small!
These are sharp looking and have a decent quality to them!. I am pleased with them, particularly considering the price. My only "complaint" is that the sizing is off for my body type. I have a big butt and hips, but wear a 22 in almost everything I get. I ordered a size up in this based on the reviews and they are snug. Not prohibitively so, but not the fit I'd like in a style like this. I'll probably buy them in other colors, but don't like that I have to buy a size up. It's no good for my chubby girl ego!

Very Nice Slacks
I love these slacks. They fit well are very nice material and are comfortable. I recently gained back some weight I had lost and was not happy to find myself going back to a larger size. I am someone who not only is overweight, I have large legs and I find that many slacks, even slacks that are plus size have very narrow legs, which are not at all flattering for me. That is what I love about these slacks, they fit well and the legs are not so tight and narrow. Well worth the money. I like the Ruby Red brand and feel they are well made as well as comfortable.

Not Pleased
I purchased the pants for work. Unfortunately I don't like the fabric choice and waistband. Additionally the pants are too long and wide. The color of the pants is good. I have purchase other Ruby Rd. pants over the years but the quality of purchased pants is certainly different.

A little long but a perfect fit overall
These pants are so comfortable. They fit just right across my bum and tummy the first time. I had to hem them a couple inches (I'm 5'6") but that wasn't a problem. My concern is finding pants that fit across the bum without being too baggy in the front and vice versa. These are perfect. Plan to buy them again in another color.

Just Right Fit
The fabric of these pants is comfortable, but maybe just a little heavy for hot summer days......not sure yet though as I haven't tried them out. They are at the seamstress for shortening. Otherwise the fit was just right ! Once I have washed this pant, the color faded quickly, despite following the washing instructions. Also to note : pant looses its shape when worn, becomes very baggy & wrinkled.
