I have JIS tipped drivers that are stamped JIS these are stamped as Phillips, and the tips are Phillips, its quite obvious when I compare them. The flat tips are, well flat tips. They are awesome Screwdrivers, regardless

Fantastic quality -- full tang design

I'm crazy about tools and always searching for the next best thing. I just ordered a huge set of Hazet screwdrivers and I was surprisingly disappointed in them. I'd never heard of Vessel before, but I was willing to try them given that they're actually made in Japan. I'm very impressed with the quality and the full-tang design. These are JIS heads, but they work with all Phillips head screws. The teeth are milled though, so they really lock into the screw head and grip better than anything I've tried. The only screwdrivers I'd consider rating higher than these are Swiss-made PB Swiss and German-made Wiha heavy-duty full-tang drivers. The Vessel tray is also higher quality than most and will look great in your tool chest. Vessel is no joke. Give them a try!

Life time quality

Use for metric motorcycles. JIS screwdriver set keeps screw heads from stripping out due to camping.

All I Could Say is WOW!

Wow, these are awesome and didn't strip heads of those cheap screws like my Snap-on Comfort Grips and hard handles does. Vessel is my go to screw drivers now and you should get some, you won't be disappointed.

Just Get Them - You Will Wonder Why You Didn't Earlier

These are simply the best screwdrivers for anyone, especially if you work on cars and/or electronics. No more stripped Phillips head screws. Ever. The tips are made to grip, with precision machined surfaces and black anodized finish. The only downside is they don't offer a wide range of lengths and tip sizes besides the ones you will use most (~90%) of the time. I'd like to also have 15" long JIS Phillips #1, #2 and #3 and straight 4mm, 6mm and 8mm; as well as standard length JIS Phillips #0 in this same design. And in case you were wondering, Vessell Megadora Tang-through screwdrivers are well worth the price. I couldn't believe I got along so many years with lousy screwdrivers before discovering these. Put it this way, Snap-on screwdrivers are a distant second to these, and the department store screwdrivers are not even worth bothering with.

Very good quality

I bought this driver set as they are Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) and I needed properly fitting screwdrivers in order to work on vintage Japanese motorcycles. Its an expensive set but worth it in my estimation. The heads fit very well and don't cam out of the screws, the handles are comfortable and the foam tray fits nicely in a tool box. The drivers have a nice "heft" to them which makes me believe they will stand up to many years of use. I also have, and regularly use, Wera and Klein drivers and these are of at least equal quality if not better. I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone in need of a quality JIS screwdriver set.
