All colors not the same
The strap design and placement is apparently different between the color options. You’d think they’d be the same bag, just with different fabric. But apparently that’s not the case. Unless the posted images don’t accurately represent the product.

So many straps
I was looking for a large sling for my 17” laptop and other work items for travel. This does and some. First impression, It’s very heavy without anything in it. This bag has a ton of potential for organization but you have to buy all the extra accessories to make it useful. For this price, it should come with more accessories. Then it has this “Rapid Access Pull” and i don’t see anything that makes it more “Rapid” than the regular zipper pulls other than it’s extra big. If it’s a travel bag, do you want it rapidly accessed by someone walking behind you? The molded back helps the bag keep its shape but is hot when you wear it as a sling. Oh, and the material holds onto lint very well. I like that there are many ways to hold and carry it. Material and construction appear to be high quality and will last a long time. It has a handle pass through so that you can rest it on your luggage when traveling. In my second pic, i poured water on it and it beaded up and isn’t absorbing into the bag so it also has good water resistance. I

large and bulky
This Vertx Keryx tactical crossbody/messenger bag is HUGE. This bag converts from a backpack to a briefcase with a few strap adjustments. There are many zippers and pockets, large and small. Inside is made so that you can velcro things in place. It will hold a large laptop ( and lots more) and has spot to put handle of suitcase if traveling. Just be aware of the size as it is quite large. The thick padding protects nicely but makes the bag larger. Material is top quality amd very durable. Zippers zip smoothly and are plentiful.

Bad customer service
So I have purchased 4 bags and a hoodie from Vertx. Love their gear. Last week I purchased a dead letter sling bag. I messaged their customer service with a question about my Vertx sling. How do I tell if commuter or transit? Response where did you buy it? From you. Response we see several things in your purchase history but not that. So your not going to answer my question. Response here is a copy of your 5 previous purchases, there is no transit/commuter. Ummmm ok. So you proved I am a repeat customer. How do you know I did not purchase signed in as guest? Well Vertx….by not answering a simple question and hassling me, you lost a customer’s. I guess 5.11, Viktos or any other Veteran owned company will treat me better. Ohhh btw. Im saving the email just in case. Vertx reads this and calls me out.
