Needs a few more supplies to come with it, but fun

My nephew and I had a lot of fun with this! I’m glad I got it for the discounted price on prime day though because it only came with three canvases and you have to mix the paint so we ended up throwing away a lot of paint because we didn’t have anymore canvases to use it on. It also didn’t come with any little cups to put the paint in so we had to use our own plastic cups and there were only three stir sticks but it wasn’t a problem for us we just rinsed them in between colors but you could have used anything to stir it so that didn’t bother me. There is a second set of paints too so if we wanted to do it again I would have to go buy more canvas.

Art-wastic

The concept of spin art has always been one of my daughters favorite hobbies. She was extremely excited to use this item. As parents we are trying to teach her the value of money vs quality. This product did not meet my expectations, but my daughter insisted that she wanted the item regardless. Imagine my surprise when it broke prior to her even using it. The plastic bowl that catches the paint had warped prior to use and effectively would not spin the paint in the manner as advertised. The saving grace was that the paint that arrived with the tools is quality product. We purchase the paint regularly so no issues there. We also received 3 canvases, an eye dropper and a mix cup. These few items made the purchase effectively worth the three star rating. If you are wanting a better quality product then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need something and want to gamble this product might be worth your time for a secret santa or gift exchange.

Very fun

When I saw this it reminded me to the one I had when I was little that had a battery that controlled a switch that spun the wheel for you. Unfortunately this one does not...it is manual. We still have fun with it though.

CHEAP!! Not as pictured!

This whole set is super cheaply made. We were really disapointed in this. CONS: -it falls apart constantly -takes forever to set up, 2 minutes to play -DOES NOT SPIN on it's own, you have to spin the bowl yourself - it's a joke -only comes with 3 canvases, they are basically cardboard -not enough paint, you will use up all the paint in 3 rounds -you will need additional things like multiple cups and measuring tools -paint takes days to dry PROS: -the paint is easily washable.

Canvases warped badly

Mine did not come with a beaker, the tray was cracked, and the canvases warped so badly while drying they are not useable now. Also the pictures are misleading. To get the colors shown you would need to first mix them, you will not create them through the pour process. The colors included are primary colors, purple, and white. You would have to make your own pink green and orange using those colors before starting your art. Overall though my daughter and I really enjoyed this activity together. It’s obviously way more paint than you need for three canvases. I have a whole bottle and a half left of each color and we already used some for another project. The bottles reseal well so this isn’t an issue for me. I would recommend it with the caveat that you use your own canvases. Maybe use the ones included for art using another technique with all the leftover paint you’ll have.

poor quality boards

I was so excited for this painting set but it’s just not very good quality. The boards are poor quality and warp when painted. If they’d used little canvases it would’ve been much better.

Paint too think to pour. Items are pretty flimsy. Canvas is good
