Worth the investment
I have been doing Peloton workouts for over two years now. During that time I have been using the peloton brand of cycling shoes. After putting many miles on those shoes I decided to try some new ones. Typically I am riding about 60-65 miles a week and I wanted to invest in a good pair of cycling shoes. After much research I decided to try the fizik bento powerstrap R2 aeroweave. I was skeptical that a cycling shoe this expensive would be worth the price. I have to admit I was dead wrong. I wear a size 45 in the peloton shoes and got the same size in the fizik. Perfect fit. I wasn't sure if the "power straps" would really be that good but they are perfect. Allows you to get a nice snug fit with the velcro. Did I mention these things are light and airy? Amazingly light and because they are aeroweave the airflow is amazing while not impacting the stability of the shoe at all. The sole on this is the stiffest that fizik makes and it is definitely tons stiffer than my peloton shoes. What does that mean? More power transfer to the pedals. This makes a HUGE difference. On my second ride with these shoes I beat a PR that has been the same for about a year. My average ride stats far exceed what I was doing with the Peloton shoes. Don't get me wrong the peloton shoes were good shoes. Just not on the level of these fiziks. I never thought I would buy cycling shoes this expensive. But now that I have I understand why they cost so much. By far worth the investment if you can afford them. I plan to keep them for a long time.

True to size, excellent road cycling shoe
Powerstraps create a secure but comfortable feel around the foot. Aeroweave ventilates the foot even on hot days here in Barbados. Awesome shoe. I will definitely try to acquire a pair of the Special Edition Movistar Team ones.

Light and stiff
Top tier shoes. Very light. Very stiff. Bright-colored socks can be seen through knitting which is a cool little detail.

Awesome shoes, they rock!
The shoes fit great, I usually wear a 49, if not a 50. Fizik size 48 fit me perfect, the shoes are very light weight. I can't wait to put cleats on and go for a ride!

Sizing is weird
I've purchased 3 different sizes of these shoes and none of them fit. My normal size is 10. I bought 10(43), 10.5(43.5), 11(44). First two were small and last one too big. Shoes are really nice though.

Love it !!
This is the most stylish pair of cycling shoe for non-pros but folks who want style and 100% do not like buckles of any sort on their shoes. I have tried the lace shoes from GIRO Empire series (i am a shoe must have lace kind of guy) but find velcro from Fizik to be a great 'compromise' and they are light and easy to dry. I only wished they would let me buy the back heel replacement instead of buying a new pair since the back heels will eventually wear out.

Excellent. Light. Comfortable. Breathable, Rigid.
Excellent shoes! Lightweight, comfortable, very breathable and very rigid. I usually use a Solestar carbon fibre insole on my other shoes, but it’s not necessary with the Vento Aeroweave. The best shoes I have ever used. Usually use a size 42 but I am comfortable with size 41.5 for these shoes.
