Nice for Patio Herbs and Pepper Plants
Cedar wood, good ventilation for drainage, not too big of a unit for patio and not too small. I really like it and the shelf on bottom helps to put other plants to grow. I'm happy with this raised bed.

Herbaceous
There’s nothing better than fresh herbs for cooking! This is only my second herb garden purchase in 7 years. Even though it held up to the weather outdoors, I sprayed a weather protectant on this one to keep it fresh looking. I’m thinking about adding casters to the legs for easier maneuverability. I love it!

Nice size
The only thing is I did not notice it is not on wheels. Other wise it is the right size for my needs.

Nice raised bed for herbs
We purchased this item to have a herb bed right outside our door. Assembly went quickly. The instructions were a little vague (think Ikea), but would be easy to assemble without the instructions. It is sturdy and we will see how it holds up to Virginia weather and salt air.

Great Herb Garden
Easy to assemble, sturdy and very attractive. I put a couple coats of spar polyurethane on it to help preserve the wood from the elements longer. Working great so far. Highly recommended.

Great for small veggies!
Was easy to assemble by myself (26f), but tedious to use a screw driver for each screw. It is a bit more shallow than I was originally expecting so I’m not sure how well the tomatoes will do, but for other herbs it should be fine. Might be nice if it had locking castor wheels to move it if needed as it is somewhat heavy once filled but still manageable if you need to change it’s location. The bottom shelf definitely helps with the sturdiness of the legs, without it I would be hesitant. I did add an extra screw to the top box on each side as a precaution. The other issue was that the wooden dividers didn’t really sit in the notches they were supposed to as it was a little too wide but once the liners were filled it is no longer an issue. Hopefully lasts for quite a few years

Perfect for my balcony
Since moving to a condo I have missed having a place to garden. This definitely fits the bill. It was super easy to assemble and honestly nicer than I expected it to be. Wasn’t sure what I wanted to start out with so I just got a bunch of herbs and two pepper plants to see how they fare. I do a lot of cooking and canning so I wanted to be able to walk out onto my balcony and grab what I need to do both. I did end up putting a mat on the bottom in case the water comes through the planters to be courteous to my downstairs neighbors. However I have not had any of the water come through the mesh bags yet. I was more worried about rainy days when I can’t control the amount of water that’s going in. I’ve had this set up for about a month now and love going out there every day to see the progress of my little herb garden.

Little hard to install
Just so everyone knows. This is NOT a installed ready to plant raised garden. It will take a good half an hour to be installed. And you definitely need a electronic screwdriver (hand one will not work since there’s no holes on most parts). I actually enjoyed doing some woodworkw so I didn’t mind it. one wooden part not fitting perfectly and causing it splits apart when I try to screw it in. And I’m not a fan of the inner black Pocket. It doesn't have a reservoir, which I think is every inconsiderate. It's only good for plants that doesn't require much watering.

Nice unit but use your own screws and drill out holes 1st.
Finally got unit delivered. 1st one was "undeliverable" but I got Amazon involved and they got it to me. Read reviews before I bought it, so I made sure to have my drill and deck screws (20). Drilled out the holes then used the deck screws. I am Canadian so we tend to use Robertson screws here rather than those crappy EZ to strip Philips screws. Went together well and is fairly sturdy. Instructions aren't the best, but with a bit of common sense EZ to figure it out. Overall I am pleased.

Practical and Attractive Design
I had no trouble putting it together, it’s pretty simple. I did find it easier to drill the screw holes prior to attaching the pieces. It isn’t a heavy duty build but I was looking for something I could move around on my deck so it’s perfect. I like the fact that the upper shelf is slotted for drainage and the dividers removable. Added a couple of hardware pieces for decoration. Now all I need are the herbs.

Nice but...3 1/2 stars
Seems very overpriced for the mediocre quality of the planter. I had hoped it was of better quality and more solid for the $200+ price tag. Instead, bits of the wood are already splintering which does not bode well for usage and the shelf under the plant area and on the bottom are quite flimsy. Received liners in white (!) which is not going to look so great. Also, very glad I read reviews and purchased a power screwdriver as you really need one to put this together. Instructions are a little incomplete as well so you have to figure it out as you go. I am hoping this will last a few years but I have doubts. You may be better off building your own (if you have skills).

Maybe build your own.
I bought this "trug" for approximately $60 cad as an amazon warehouse deal. It went together easy. Just a drill and I used some 1 -1/2" deck screws I had as I didn't like the screws provided. The slats are 1/4" thick. The legs are 1- 5/16" material. The side rails are 1" material. For what it is made out of it is reasonably sturdy, but a little wiggly. There are notes in the assembly instructions that it is coated with a food safe preservative that the purchaser will have to maintain on a yearly basis. Honestly i dont think this will survive the canadian outdoors for too long. I will eventually replace what i dont like and further beef up with dimensional cedar lumber. If you don't have access to a table saw to rip 2x4s to build something for yourself or don't have time it's an okay purchase for $60 as ultimately it's just cheap garbage built offshore (China).
