These trays are great!

I have used these trays for years and given them as gifts. While I have an ice maker in my fridge I don't use it as the filters are way too expensive and have to be changed after a few months. I just turned off the ice maker and use these trays. These are way better than working with ice cubes stuck in the fridge box. I like the fact that they have a cover and cubes come right out. The beauty is that I can stack 3 trays right under the ice cube maker. We have PFAS in our area and I use bottled water so I need these trays.

I don’t need a lot of ice & this is neat that it has a cover so your ice stays fresh. It hasn’t spilled out either.

Fits in my mini-fridge freezer in either direction

Just the right length to fit depth-wise so should fit like this in most mini-fridge freezers. The plastic lid is sturdy and keeps the water in well. Glad I got it over the silicone lid.

Great ice trays

Love the cover, they keep the ice fresh and can stack easily in the freezer. Love how I can flick out single cubes, just have to twist the tray a little. As you can see I bought 3 of these because they are so good.

Best ice trays ever!

These are the best ice cube trays! I have tried a number of trays over the years and these are the easiest to get the cubes out of the tray without having more pop out than you need. I can literally pop out one cube at a time by simply applying a little pressure on one side of the individual cube, something you could never do with typical ice trays. The cubes always come out clean and in one piece which is a nice touch. The tray covers while a nice idea, don’t work well. They are difficult to slide off once you have placed the water in the trays and they have frozen. The reason for this is that the cover gets wet as you slide them on and carry the trays from your sink to the freezer, so they end up being frozen in place and difficult to slide off when you want to get some ice cubes. My work around is that I stack the ice cubes trays in the freezer and I only place the cover on the bottom tray. I don’t use much ice and the cover does prevent the ice from picking up any odors. They also stack better like this. I use the top tray without the cover and when I have used all of the ice I fill it up and take the cover off the bottom tray and place it on this one so I am constantly rotating the ice trays. That said regardless of the covers and whether you choose to use them or not I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for the best ice trays on the market. I have told friends and family about them and they have all fallen in love with these ingenious trays.

Small cubes compared to what I'm used to. The covers are a pain, but make them easier to stack.

These are pretty rigid trays. The covers are a pain to remove when the trays are frozen, but make it easier to stack them in then in the fridge. Cubes are smaller than I'm used to (kind of half moon), glad I bought 3 of these trays instead of two. I didn't really like these at first, but I've gotten used to them. Probably the ability to stack due to covers is the best thing about these.

Exactly as described

These are pretty great, not gonna lie. I’ve had a lot of ice trays in my lifetime but these don’t frustrate you! The lids are easy on, easy off and they don’t spill in the freezer. The ice pops out easily and in tact. I recommend! Oh, came packaged new, nicely and on time.

Just what I needed

This is exactly what I needed when my fridge's automated ice machine broke (can't afford to fix). I tried the silicone ones and they were just messy and hard to use. These OXO ones are old school but come with lids for stacking, which is important if limited room. If no lid/cover is used then they slide out soooo easy, on first try. If a lid is used then I remove it & set tray on counter for a minute or so before emptying. And granted, those that I use the lids on take longer to freeze and don't come out as perfectly smooth. But that's fine by me. I bought another pair so I fill 2 trays using lid and 2 trays without so I can save room, stack, and still get fast ice when needed. AND you do need to be careful to not overfill the ones you're using a lid with - that can indeed make it harder to get the ice out. But overall I am perfectly happy with these trays - I mean, you can't beat the price and they do the job.

Just okay

It's an OXO product so it's well built and very functional. Cubes pop out very easily and they're a good size. Don't overfill and the lid won't stick, pretty simple. My only issue is it doesn't truly protect the ice from the dreaded freezer odor. Enough freezer air gets been the lid and the tray so my ice still has that God awful smell after awhile. It's a good sturdy tray so I'll keep it but if you're super picky about that smell, look elsewhere.

Great Ice tray!

Ice tray is a little wider than expected. However, it'll still fit inside the shelving for the tray. Quality is quite good. Cubes are decent. Easy to remove with your finger, by pushing down on one end of the ice cube (give the tray a twist with both hands on each end of the tray first without the cover). Don't overfill the tray or it'll be difficult to remove the cubes and the cover. I would purchase again.

The lid is very useful

I love the fact that it has a lid, very useful in the freeze. Good size ice cubes, easy to fill. Not extremely easy to get the cubes and not a big quantity, but it’s fine. I would recommend it.

Ne ho comprati due e sono rimasta soddisfatta come per tutti i prodotti oxo acquistati. La vaschetta è grande e costituita da ottimo materiale in plastica. La protezione superiore rappresenta la ciliegina sulla torta. In più, Amazon è garanzia in tutto, sempre.

Got this because Wirecutter says these are the best ice cube trays you can buy. Not sure if they're the best in the world, but it is the best I have used. Easy to get ice out, and the smaller size means they freeze a bit quicker. Not sure about the cover, as it does tend to freeze to the tray, but it does protect the ice if you want to put something on top.
