While the stylishness of winter jackets isn't an important factor, this product definitely looks slick. Definitely a notable characteristic of Marmot products that I've noticed in my jacket and others that wear Marmot products. The jacket with the removable fleece liner zipped in fit comfortably and snug. I ordered a medium and am 5'6, 155 lbs. Naturally, when I removed the removable fleece liner, the jacket was baggy and noticeably baggy visually. The fleece liner fit perfectly. In most cases, if you're wearing such a heavy, weather-proof coat it is expected you will wear lining that will end up filling up the empty-space that has been built into the coat. With that being said, the size I ordered fit great for me. Recently went snowboarding for 8 hrs in 25-32 degree weather, and felt warm from beginning to end, from sitting idle to boarding (which tested its warmth during windy conditions). I wore a UA long-sleeved compression base layer (not cold gear) and t-shirt. I fell quite a few times, jerking my body every which way, and sweat quite a bit. After it was all said and done, I hung up my coat and it looked the same as when I got it in the mail. There were no scratches, rips, unraveling threads, and after letting it air out, it didn't smell (from sweating), although that isn't an excuse to at least launder the fleece liner. The luxury of having several pockets on both the outside and inside of the jacket for different purposes with waterproof zippers is fantastic. The best part is I don't expect to purchase another coat for a long, long time, which makes the price ($243 for black medium) of the coat justified. I definitely recommend this jacket.

An Outdoor Winter Coat That's Top Quality
In case you have never purchased a Marmot product, you may not know that they make some of the best outdoor wear around for everything from mountaineering to skiing to everyday use. This coat is no exception. It's of the highest quality. It's built to last, is very warm, yet allows maximum range of motion. And you can zip out the fleece liner or zip off the hood. It is a little bulky compared to some of my more streamlined winter coats. But it's nothing significant.

This is my choice Jacket when not using the Loki Mountain hoodie here in Alaska, as the weather turns colder I easily grab this up as my choice of protection. Its not heavy but its warm and holds up awesome. I lived in Tahoe before and this is one jacket that I'd take anywhere I'd go for winter sports and recreation. Its an awesome jacket-- enjoy

Good but a little big
I`m 100kg&183cm。XXL is a little too big for me. So I think I must wear this in Hip-Pop style.^^ By the way, in my opinion，it's really not a good idea to wear the inside one only if U wanna have a good looking.

Excellent fit. Could be warmer. Hood works well with helmet. Good for lots of snow. Pockets need more lining for electronics safety
