Quality, Adorable, and Adjustable waist

I had to write a review of this, since prior reviews said that this skort wasn't adjustable. I ordered the navy one in size 7 for my six-year-old, soon-to-be First Grader, and it does have the elastic tabs to button inside the waistline to adjust the waist size. The reversible tie-on belt is as shown, with the pink, blue, navy, khaki, and white diagonal stripes. My daughter is tall for her age, but of average build and wears between a 6X and 7 in other clothing. I like the style of this skort, how it is straight on the top and pleated on the bottom. The belt loops and tie-on belt look super sharp since her shirts have to be tucked in at school. My daughter loves it. My girly-girl prefers to wear skorts and jumpers rather than shorts/capris/pants. I haven't washed it yet, but I expect that there will be no problems, given the cotton/poly blend, which is what I prefer in uniform bottoms and jumpers, especially pleated ones. I have Amazon Prime, so shipping on this was in two business days, as promised. Love it! Four thumbs up from this pleased mommy and daughter!

The back is just as stylish as the front!

I made the mistake of letting my 10 year old online window shop with me. She just "had to have this skirt for school"! To my dismay I had to do a lot of online shopping over the course of a few weeks to find it in her size. Finally, Amazon had it back in stock! It was well worth the wait. The skirt fits amazing and is absolutely adorable on! The back of the skirt is just as pretty as the front. My daughter begged me to order her another one like it in khaki and I was so happy with the quality, style and price that I think I will! I highly recommend it.

Runs very small! Order up in size!

I ordered several uniform bottoms for my daughters upcoming school year. Each was in a size 10. They all fit except for these. These fit more like a 6x! Having said that, I think the quality and style are very nice! I was able to return the original and purchase a new one. A size 14 is the same as a French Toast 10 for this skirt. If it weren't for the sizing being off, I would give it a perfect score. There are adjusters in the waist in case the skirt is too large, and it has built in shorts.

Very cute cut for a skirt with built in shorts.

Super cute uniform skirt with built in shorts. Its a great cut and length. I ordered this in a 6 for my 5yo when she started kinder in the Fall. She is very tall and by mid-year it was fitting short and somewhat tight, but since I loved the skirt I re-ordered a size up (7) for the Spring and will mind to wash on cold going forward. She does struggle a little bit with the button, but not a big deal as she is not shy asking for help from her teacher.

Must habe been something I missed when I saw the word Polo

Well I will just say it THIS CAN NOT BE POLO. The bottom on the inside literally fell tight in my hand did not even get to attach it. And as far as how thick the elastic is these pictures this I promise will rip 2 days on the playground. My daughters waist is a 6/7 but she is very tall and slim so I bought the 8 with the bottoms to keep it in her hinny this is the 1st time I have been not happy with a product. Overall they are soo pretty for a navy uniform scort so I will sew the tow I bought but I know polo quality and this is not it.

Love the look, order one size bigger

It looks very nice on my daughter, but I did order one size up after reading the reviews. And it is the right decision! My daughter normally wears size 14, I ordered size 16. The waist is just a bit loose but can be easily adjusted. The length is just right. It sits about 3 inches above her knee. I ordered a size 14 of French Toast Uniforms Girls Scooter Skort for her earlier and the waist area is a perfect fit, but it went all the way to her knee. So I had to return it. Love this one very much.

Great style for uniform.... purchase one size larger and needed.

Great skirt design to add individuality in a uniformed school. Runs a whole size smaller than would typically expected. Loved this skirt, but purchase a size bigger than you would regularly need.
