Nice looking watch, works perfectly. Large Watch Band Is An Issue

[Update: About 7 months months later, I'm still using the watch pretty much every day. I like it, so even with the extra cost for the wrist band,it was worth it.] The watch looks fine, clearly taking into account the price. I am guessing it will keep time fine. The date function took a while took figure out. I think you have to turn the minute hand so it gives you the day and (number) date and not use the month. The big issue is that band is too big and it, apparently, is not easy to adjust. I had one jeweler tell me he could not adjust it. Another one said they could, but it was a hassle, so they would have to charge $20.00. I decided to give it to them (it took a few days). The jeweler was able to adjust the band (it cost $20.00). I like the watch, but take into account the cost of adjusting the band, it ended up being about double the price (and additional $20.00 more). If it lasts and continues working right, I would still be happy with it. So, perhaps be prepared for that.

had one of these before it lasted about 2 years before the band broke. but for the price it's totally worth it. you might want to buy 2 or 3 since they're such a good price. i got lots of compliments on the watch no one knew it was only 20 bucks it looks like it's worth more. the day can be set in english or spanish.

Hard to believe at first, but this is the best watch I have ever owned.

This product looks great and is very well made. I have been wearing it daily to work and casually for roughly three weeks and am very impressed with how sturdy and shiny it has remained. I constantly get compliments on it and the shocked reaction when I tell them it only cost twenty two dollars is the same every time. Setting it was easy enough, however it did not come with an instruction manual so I had to play with the dial for a while to get the day and date synced up properly. Otherwise, I am a 6'1 21 year old man and even I had to get the band re-sized because it slid up and down my wrist as a few others have mentioned. Not sure how big of a wrist the watch is designed for naturally, but if it didn't fit me without adjustment, it probably wont fit you so keep that in mind if you are unwilling to get the band re-sized. I took it to a local jeweler and they took care of it for 5 dollars in about ten minutes and showed me how to do it myself in the future. Will re-buy if I need a new one anytime soon and Amazon still carries them.

required a thin but sturdy pocket knife blade (be careful)

Only issue I encountered was condensation forming on the inside of the crystal just about any time I wore the watch. I removed the back and left the watch in a zip lock bag of dry rice for a day or so. That seemed to resolve the issue as I have not seen any more condensation since. Be warned the back plate is a bit difficult to remove; required a thin but sturdy pocket knife blade (be careful). Use a dowel that's close to the diameter of the back plate to press fit it back in again. Very worth the price.

Misrepresentation

The strap came apart after less than 7 months. The logo on the watch is not Polo. Junk-don't waste any money on this.

It looks nice and worth the money. However, I met a problem that the band was too long. And I do not want to waste money, so I fixed it by myself. You can learn that from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuyRHCenVdA Another issue is the difficulty for day adjustment, it can only be done by rotate the time arm. And the display of day is in France. It's Hard to recognize and I do not know how to make it to English since I noticed the English day display shows only in 2-3am everyday.

Long Term Review

Purchased in 2018 as a gift. First impressions of the watch are that it looks great from a distance but upon closer inspection some of the gold was overpainted in sections and looks rather cheap like it could chip off easily. This is the same on the band. The band also feels a little flimsy. It does keep good time. Not worth 40-50 dollars. Cost in 2018 was 25$ not sure why it is more expensive now

A bit disappointed

I found it quite gaudy-looking and chintzy because of the gold glitter on the watch-band. IMO it would look a lot better without it. However, the face of the watch is quite nice. I guess the best logical solution for me would be to replace the band with something more suitable. On the positive side, it keeps great time and is very reasonably priced.

Wished it worked better!

While this watch looks great and fits my oversized wrist, I was disappointed to find that the date could not be set in the usual manner. Setting the day worked perfectly as did adjusting the time. If the date setting function worked, I'd be more than satisfied with this inexpensive but attractive watch!

Le look est correct, mais le bracelet élastique tire les poils du bras au moindre mouvement. Par conséquent, ça devient plutôt désagréable de porter la montre.

Love the look and style of the watch

Love the look and style of the watch. Suits my personality well. It looks good without being to flashy or expensive, this is why i bought it. I've been wearing the watch only a week now and two face links in the wrist band has already fallen off. If the watch wasn't poorly made then my rating would be better. Now wearing this as a work watch now I don't need to worry about roughing it up since it falls apart on it's own
