Daughter uses for volleyball

She's a libero and is constantly diving for balls. She was bruising her elbows so I got her these. She says these do a great job of protecting them and give her the confidence to take more chances. Not sure if that's good or not. They're expensive since these are sold individually. We just got them and I'm reserving a star as its too early to tell how long they'll last.

Fit is perfect, the pads are nice as well

In fact, i was shocked that these sleeves doesnt come in pairs ! I just noticed when i opened the package ! According to price, it should be in pairs

Protection for elbow

I love the protection it gives. I had a sore elbow and work offshore. I needed some padding in case I bumped it on piping or whatever. It serving its purpose and think it was a good buy.

Good, but fails at the wrist.

I got this because I have what's commonly known as "tennis elbow" as well as the beginning of carpal tunnel problems. I wanted something that would be give me good compression for both issues at the same time. Firstly, the material is first-rate. It really gives good compression, but has enough elasticity in it to prevent becoming too tight at any point. The elbow padding I found both useful and well-designed as the pad itself isn't one unit, but a number of hexagonal pads that expand with the material I found it well suited for protecting my elbow from banging around in the warehouse where I work. There are negatives though. The fit seems wrong - at least for me. This is a medium, yet it seems a tad too snug at the bicep, about right at the elbow and too loose at the wrist. Now, I have a 6 1/2" wrist, so you can make your own determination. The other issue is a very long tag at the top of the sleeve where your bicep is. Really? A tag? Who was dumb enough to think a 2" long tag that gets folded up or wadded up under a tight compression sleeve would be a good idea? Duh. Even underwear makers are going to tagless products! I found it uncomfortable. So, good materials, good compression (except for me at the wrist) and an innovative elbow pad, but with an annoying tag I'm going to cut off tomorrow.

Good compression and cool hexagon cushion, but it doesn’t fit my arm's shape

The sleeve is made from a blended fabric that consists of polyester and spandex. It reminds me of those materials from those fancy and stretchy boxer briefs underwear. It is very light, but flexible and . The fitting is comfortable and the design is very slick. The padded elbow area with all the small hexagons are very cool looking and they make me feel like a pro by simply wearing it. They do provide good protection. I hit the table wearing it with force, and I didn’t feel any pain. I wore it for an hour hooping and shooting and I felt very warm for my arm. The compression worked as it should and surprisingly I didn’t feel wet at all. It absorbed and evaporated my sweat quickly and kept my arm dry. My arm muscle felt good and I played better with the compression on. However, medium size feels a little loose for me at the forearm but little too tight for my bicep at the top where the bungee area is, so I don’t know whether I picked the wrong size or the sleeve isn’t made for my arm's shape. It is ok to wear it as it is, but I need to adjust it once in a while to release pressure at the bicep area. Hope it will get broken in and stretch out after a few wash.

very supportive and protective product

Two factors that I think we should consider the most when we buy this type of product, the first is the quality of the pad, the second is if it use fast-dry materials. Of course comfort is also important. I do feel this product is comfortable, it's light weight and you don't feel much that you are wearing it when you are wearing it. This is important when you play basketball. The pad is very solid, I had feel intense physical contact with opponent and it did protect my elbow well. It also protect your opponent from hitting by your elbow. As for the fast-dry part, it does its job, but if you are sweeting too much, it might still not as ideal as you expected. But it does work for me.

Unfortunately not incredible

Well I would definitely come to expect that under armour would be a cut about the competition the sleeves do not seem to be the case. yes it has the added protection and padding around the elbow however it’s quadruple the price of an equivalent generic sleeve with not much else in terms of compression. The main issue for me was I would have to buy three of them which is cost prohibitive because when one is dirty you have to use another. So because of the cost and quality unfortunately I cannot recommend.
