Good workout shorts

Bought this TYR's pair (4") and the 2" pair. This pair has higher waistline (high rise) and a bit longer. I've found the shorter version (2") is more comfortable, guess high rise in waistline is not my thing, but still a good workout pair of shorts, light weight and dry quickly.

Runs small

Definitely need to size up for these but they are really quality and super soft.

Lots of compression, great for cycling.

These stay put with lots of compression and have been great for cycling or walking. I like to work out in these and a sports bra, or wear an oversized tee for my 4 mi. walks. I love that they don’t ride up. True athletic quality. Fit on the smaller side for sure, so size up if in between.

Nice Basic Pair of Workout/Play Shorts

Nice work out short for tween - can use as standalone shorts or under a skirt or dress. Fit true to size.

Perfect length, quality material

My teenager is using these as a dance short, and loves them. Quality material and great fit, similar to Lululemon leggings. Size wise they seem to be spot on with other athletic wear companies. We ordered the size small, which is the same size my daughter wears in Lululemon, Eleve, Target brands, etc. She wears size 26 in most jeans, and a 2 in pants. As a parent I love the length on these. They are just a bit longer than the booty type shorts that are popular, but not so long as to be “uncool”. They are the perfect compromise length between what I am wanting and what my daughter prefers. Also love this high waisted style that provides great coverage, particularly with the shorter crop tops and sports bras that are popular right now. From a cost perspective these are in line with other higher end brands. Before I started buying products like this I didn’t understand the cost. I still don’t completely “get” it, but I understand it’s because these materials do an amazing job at being stretchy, supportive, compressive, but also not too hot all at the same time. There really is a quality difference to these nicer sport materials. Two thumbs up for a great pair of athletic shorts, TYR has a winner with this one!

Great

These are lightweight shorts and you cannot see thru them. Super high waist which I love. Some tummy control but I always want more. These are a buttery fabric like Lulu it's more athletic. Overall these shorts are good. I’ve worn them for running and lifting. I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs. 40” hip, 28” waist. Glad I got a large because these were a little snug.

Nice athletic spandex shorts, great for workouts

These are really nice spandex, perfect for lifting, walking, hiking, etc. They don't ride up and have a good length, not too long, not too short. The TYR symbol is above the bum near your spine. I'm 5'8, 160ish with an athletic build and I ordered a Medium, they fit great. I have a pretty big butt and thunder thighs so finding spandex that don't smother my thighs but still stay down is a major deal breaker. I really like the look and feel of these shorts.

Extremely Soft and Comfortable!

I really like these shorts. I like to use my compression shorts as Spanx under dresses and these work extremely well. They’re pretty tight - I would recommend sizing up, but they hold everything in. They don’t ride up my thighs so I don’t have to pull them down every few minutes. They’re also very soft and feel durable and well-made. They’ll hold up well in the gym too and outline all your curves nicely. They’re high-waisted, which is a must for me since I need a lot of control in the stomach area. I’m 5’5 and 130lbs and got the size M and it fits well.
