Quality is good, waist band mediocre, lots of compression

Im 6'2" 215 athletic. Not being a huge believer or lover of compression gear, I upsized to XL. This sorta worked, theyre still a tad tighter than I like. The finish on the fabric is glossy and unless your sweating they like to pull themselves down a bit. The fabric is fairly thick (perhaps less so than CW-X, but thicker than average). I appreciate that they seem durable! I would give 5 stars for less compression and a wider flat seam waist band and improved fit.

Great compression

The compression on these is fantastic! They do run a little small to size, so you might want to order one size up. They seem very well made and quality material.

These did plenty of compressing alright..

Wow, I’d suggest going up a size even though medium was recommended and the size I usually wear. I’m a 32” waist and weigh 175 @ 5’8” to give an idea of how tight it fit on me. I have muscular calves and thighs from biking for years and these were pretty constricting at the thighs. I have running tights that are medium and they fit perfectly, but these take compression and improved blood circulation to a new level, almost feeling like blood is only staying in my upper body LOL. These seem to have stretched out a bit after a few hours of wear and washing. The next time around, I’ll be getting a larger size for compression style. The fabric is super tough and offers a lot of stretch when I pulled on it. Strong enough when pulling on without pre-starting without fear of popping the stitching and the seams held in place perfectly. The large billboarding of the TYR on the elastic was not appealing, but very durable feeling and overall high quality construction. So if you're on the thicker side and not slim muscular, I'd suggest going up a size. These go up mid-calf for me and not very long.

Great compression pants with real compression

The Tyr compression pants are made in PRC (china). The pants are made from 78% recycled nylon and 22% xtra life lycra. I am a normal size 36 waist, so I ordered the large. I could have also ordered the medium and picked up more compression. The Large is fine, fits well, and my only wish is that the waist band also had a drawstring. I recommend these for their compression. 5 stars

Extremely tight - sized for athletic builds

I’m a bigger guy who has been getting more active so with colder weather approaching I thought these might make it easier for me to stay active outdoors. The material quality is great. These pants look and feel great. As a brand, TYR stuff looks legit and definitely feels like professional gear. The compression is intense. I was able to fully get into them, but I felt like I was not in the right size. I chose XXL based on the size guide but definitely should have gone up a size because the pants compression almost wanted to pull them down off my waist. Ultimately, I think I’m going to have to lose some weight before these work for me. These are definitely meant for someone with more of an athletic build than me.

Fits great

Seamless and stylish. They look great and they fit great. Fan of 3/4 length compression pants now.
