Bad sizing, good item.
As per the title, I had ordered a large size (as it suggests that it will fit 6.5 - 7.5 wrist size). Unfortunately the size I should have picked (although my wrist is 7 inches) should have been medium. Having said that the brace fits well and it feels well when put on. I found that it is very easy to put on and to take off on my own (seen one person has had problems with this). The wrist brace feels like a quality item, it CAN get toasty underneath during the summertime. Winter time however it's perfect. Due to the sizing issue (read above, if you skipped that part) the brace has some give so I am able to move my wrist about an inch up or an inch down from the ideal position. Having said that it seems to do well when I use it. I am unable to use the wrist brace with a PC mouse (not that it was designed for that use anyhow) and I do not believe that I could in any case since I use the claw grip (as opposed to the more common palm grip) on the mouse. Whenever I feel pain in my wrist or tingling in my index finger I make sure I put the brace on every night until the symptoms go away + a few days after. During daytime when I do not wear the brace (if I'm using the mouse often) I try to keep my hand in the correct position while resting/not using the mouse without putting any pressure on the wrist. I've had this brace for a while now and it does not show any sings whatsoever of wear. All the stitching is still as perfect as it was when I got the brace delivered. The material is still as new and inside is still as soft and comfortable as it was the first day. I DO have to point out that due to the size being too big for my 7 inch wrist I end up tightening the brace almost too much for the "Velcro" to catch on securely (maybe just a fraction of an inch ends up catching onto the strip at the top. This leaves a very large part of the strip (that you tighten around) hanging and it tends to catch onto my quilt. I've overcome this problem by making sure that I secure the strap lower towards the wrist and using excess of the "Velcro" left up towards my elbow to secure the loose part (by making a 90 ish degree fold on the strap from where it is secured up towards the elbow and securing it to the rest of the "Velcro" there). All in all it's easy to recommend this to anyone that suffers from beginning stages of carpal-tunnel. Update 26th December 2013: The item is still in good shape and I still use it on and off depending on how my wrist feels and it still works pretty well. With changes in my posture and the way I use my mouse it seems that the tingling and pain are under control now however the item did help in the beginning stages and as I've mention I still use it on and off. No failures no ripping and besides the "laces" looking a little worn item still looks pretty much as new.

Comfortable, great support, easy to put on & remove
Comfortable, great support, easy to put on & remove but not very durable if you have to wear it long term. It's not for carpal tunnel, but rather to keep the wrist immobilized because of injury to the wrist joint. It has two metal splints (top of the wrist and bottom). I have to wear it permanently rather than opting for surgery so after several months it starts looking a bit worn. After about a year or so the strings start to stretch and break. If you don't mind it not looking new, it should last you a couple of years. Well worth the money.

Great wrist and hand brace
This is a really good wrist, and thumb device for anchoring your bones in place! I wasn't sure how good it was so I ordered this one, and one from Mueller, Fitted Right Wrist, Black, Small/medium. I originally wanted the Mueller one, because of all the good reviews, but just before I placed the order, my neighbor from next door, stopped by. She told me she had this Wrist Brace and it really worked, so I purchased it, and the Mueller Wrist Brace to see which was better ! First I wore the Mueller brace, and after a week, I switched to this OTC brace. In a day or two I knew this was far better for me, mainly because it is longer, and has 2 supports built into it. One metal removable (for washing) for the wrist and thumb, and a non-removable Brace on the top side of the brace. Secondly, the brace is about 2 inches longer than the Mueller, which for me, gives greater support to my wrist. So needless to say, my Mueller Brace is in a drawer next to my bed, and I wear this brace day and night. It helps a lot, but my arthritis of the hand is severe, so it can't stop all my pain in my wrist and thumb, but it's the best I found so far!

The velcro sharp hook side rests directly on skin. Bad design.
This is painful to wear. The strap that goes between thumb and hand has velcro sewn onto it facing the skin side, and the velcro hooks sit directly on my skin. I double checked that it's the correct size, and it is. It's just an extremely poor design. Either the strap needs to be longer, or the velcro needs to be sewn on the outside of the strap, not the skin side. Unusable due to irritation.

good splint for wrist
last summer I had a tendon extension surgery. the last time I met with the surgeon he was just about to retire, telling me that I'd be his last patient. he also designated a tech at his office whom I went to see afterward. he failed to give me any specific instructions about any splint. my search began then and I bought 3 splint types to date. all end at the fingers, leaving the fingers un-extended, only extending the wrist. one of these days i'll find the right one. I was disabled by 3 strokes, paralyzing my left arm completely. so it's certainly not anyone's fault but my own not purchasing the right one. the splint I bought last was the best by far. maybe I should just call and find out.

Description incorrect - does not have metal splint
This splint was to be used for night-time relief from carpal tunnel symptoms. The description states that there are metal splints in the brace. This was exactly what the physical therapist asked for - so that we would be able to bend the metal splint to a more appropriate carpal tunnel relief position. The splint does not have a metal splint, but instead a plastic splint which cannot be bent/shaped. At first, Amazon was not going to refund my money saying there was some sort of return policy that did not allow returns. I looked at the webpage again and still did not find anything about non-return/refunds on this product. When I indicated that the product did not match the description online, thus why I was trying to return it and get a refund, the customer service rep spoke to a manager and was able to get approval for a refund.

Do not recommend- dangerous product
I purchased the correct size for my hands (both left and right). This product worsened my condition and caused additional pain because the front bar and the bar inside the velcro put too much pressure on the pinky and ring finger area even after adjusting the metal bar and loosing the fit. My pain is now worse than ever.

Best Brace Ever
A have tried so many different braces, I have severe carpal tunnel. This brace is the most comfortable and has lasted the longest. Other braces the splint is inside and ends up poking out the top and digging into me. This one it’s on outside of brace. Unfortunately due to my work it’s now starting to come apart so will need to order a new one

Arrived very quickly. It is a little bigger than I expected but I was able to make adjustments for it to fit. This is very rigid and can sometimes pinch my baby finger.
