A Human Body Support Must have...
This is my third time purchasing this wrist support (I keep one at work and home), the third one is for traveling. I liked it so much that I purchased two for my Associates, and the results are quite impressive!

GREAT for the gym.
I have worked out in a gym all of my life and am still going strong (I'm now 69 years old), but over the years of lifting weights and allowing my wrists to bend backward when lifting, I have gotten to the point where I have considerable "wear-and-tear" pain in them. After years of stupidity and finally realizing that I was creating the pain myself, I tried to remember to keep my wrists straight when lifting or pushing, but on occasion would forget and cause the pain all over again. I saw the gloves on line and decided to try a pair. Now I won't work out without them. They keep my wrists straight without my having to think about it, and I wear them under my regular workout gloves. I have large hands, and they are a bit tight, but have enough elasticity in them that I don't have a problem. The only reason I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 is because after about a month of use in the gym, the ends of the metal support wore through the gloves at the palm and at the wrist. This is not really the fault of the glove, but was due to the knurling on the barbells and pressure I was putting on them. I sewed the ends closed again and sewed material (some old denim I had on hand) down the center of the glove, covering the metal from top to bottom, and they have been fine ever since. For just average gym use they're probably fine, but for heavy gym use, they need to be reinforced. The gloves have a thick pseudo-leather palm pad covering an aluminum insert which is curved to fit the palm of your hand. They have 2 velcro fasteners on the back of the hand and one strap that wraps completely around the wrist. They support the wrists very well and do not allow them to bend. I can see where they would probably be great for someone with carpal tunnel or anyone doing any kind of physical work that would bend the wrists. The thumb and fingers are not hindered, so it's probably possible to even type with them on. For normal everyday use for someone with wrist pain who need their wrists supported, I'd highly recommend them.

Works...about a year
I am on my 2nd one. First things first it works, which is really priority number one. If I don't wear this even for a day my wrist pain flares. I wear this only at work (computer all day). I take it off at the end of the work day and can play tennis, etc. and have no pain in general everyday tasks. It holds my wrist straight preventing my hand from moving out to the side. It does hold my hand up a bit (knuckles above wrist) which is good. You can bend the aluminum support brace to adjust this angle for comfort. The 2 velcro straps can also be adjusted for comfort. If you do lots of writing by hand you may want to remove as its a bit uncomfortable for that and I can write more neatly without it. However I jot notes all day long with it on just fine. The metal brace will break through the fabric at the top of the palm eventually. You can keep pushing it back in or replace. About the same time there will start to be a bit of an odor as well from accumulated sweat of nearly a year. Bottom line for under $12 buy this once a year and save multiples of that in medical bills. UPDATE 8/31/16 Thought I would add some pictures of new vs old. I average buying one of these each year. They work well as reviewed previously but the metal does wear through as shown in the pics. My opinion remains the same....they work, they acquire a bit of a sweaty smell over time but that's also about when they start to break down and need replacing anyway so for the money I'm still a buyer. The price right now as a Add-on item is great. They still pretty much work even after "wearing out". I keep the old ones around or when I misplace the newest one. The one in the pic is probably 2 years old...my 1 year old one looks a little better. The nice one in the photo is brand new.

Great Wrist Brace for Daily Wear
I've had one of these for years and they work great. The shorter style is perfect for daily wear for those of us who are small. The one size is still a little big. It would be nice to see this in S M L as I can't find anything else like it: short, with hard spoon, and for either hand. Word of warning: if the wrist Velcro sticks to the inside, you have to gently and carefully slice it off with scissors.

Good brace
I hurt my wrists at the computer. I got a couple Mueller wrist braces (at different times) to use in front of the computer, when i sleep, and at first all day long. These are the ones that go further down the arm and have metal supports on the sides as well. All was well, and it was obviously a good choice. I got a new job and wanted a couple more in order to have a different set at work so i do not have to remember to bring them with me. Based on the reviews and that my Muellers were working well, i bought two of these for my new job. Pros: - Does the job, hands are comfortable. - Smaller than my other ones, less obtrusive. - Small black fellows, not an eyesore. - Velcro is very good. - Fit is comfortable. Cons: - Hard to put on. - Velcro is too good. Hard to put on - My other braces slip on my arm and wrist, then get tightened. Easy. These guys close around the arm, meaning they have to be lines up and held in place (its natural position is on a slight angle) until the velcro is applied. It just takes a moment though. Velcro is too good - Sometimes velcro is weak, not here. However, sometimes it is too strong. While putting it on, the smaller straps tend to get caught on the inside of the brace, and must be undone. It takes a good yank to get them off. When taking it off, the larger strap is stuck on pretty well to itself, and takes a slightly stronger pull than normal to undo. I've seen a comment about the second hole, that doesn't bother me and it makes it ambidextrous. Overall, this is a good brace. The cons aren't cons as much as they are just inconveniences and room for improvement. I would definitely recommend this to others.
