Bang for your buck, made in Canada shoes.
Bought these for snow play for both my 14 month old and 4 year old. Couple of points: 1. These are heavier than they look. This wasnt a big deal to my older kid but the younger really had issues dragging the shoes along 2. They are sorta hard to put on. Due to the long tube part, they can be tricky for young kids who don't know how to mold their feet to put on. However the true test was the fact that my older daughter played in snow for a good 3 hours which included laying down and making snow angels and yet when we took her boots off her feet were absolutely dry and a very toasty temperature. I later noticed that the shoe is rated for -32degree Celsius weather. No wonder since its made in Canada! She didnt slip and fall on the party icy snow. In my book, this is an excellent snow boot for kids

Keeps feet warm to -32F - the only toddler boot, this Michigan mom will buy!
This company and toddler boot is the only winter boot that I will buy. Having done my research Tundra is a Canadian company, and their winters are even colder than here in Michigan. Toddlers can’t always tell you when their feet are cold. With this boot, you can rest assured that they will be fine. Boots are really well made. This is my 3rd pair and we’ve never had wet socks, leaking or cold toes after these boots come off. They are TOUGH. Also, great soles with lots of grip against icy sidewalks. My toddler often trips in bulky shoes, but not these. They are flexible in the sole just enough to give mobility but definitely not flimsy. They are not a glamourous looking shoe, no bells or lights, or anything fancy, it this boot is for parents who are serious about the warmest and best winter boot.

Excellent quality, order a size up
Glad I listened to other posters - go a size up. My 16mo daughter is currently ~ size 4.5-5. I ordered a size 6. They fit great. They have a bit of extra room so they'll work for a few months (and fit thicker socks) but the size 6 still isn't so large that she is tripping. We have size 5/6 rain boots that are bigger. Quality is excellent. The sore is thick rubber with durable tread. The ankle/leg is water-resistant fabric (gortex-type feeling) on the ouside and soft fleece on the inside. The velcro is a good thick type & folds over easily to get snug on my 16mo old, but could accommodate a much larger/thicker leg. We haven't used them yet, but they definitely look like they'll be warm and durable. FYI tag says Made in Canada.

Cute, sturdy, warm boots are a hit with my 20 month-old
I started this winter with a pair of Target boots from the consignment shop, but the velcro on them was very weak and the footpad was missing in one of the boots, so I decided to get serious, quit messing around, and get some quality boots. I got a size 7 Tundra boot for my (bigger than average) 20 month-old son. They fit nicely, they keep his feet nice and warm, they are easy to get on and off, and he loves pointing out the various construction vehicles on them. He has worn them about 15 times now and I am extremely happy with these boots. You're always gambling a bit buying things sight unseen off the Internet, but this was one gamble that paid off. I will buy the next size up when he outgrows these. I also love that these boots are made in Canada, not China.

Great for bad weather
Totally cute and warm. Great for bad weather. We don't have snow yet but they seem to keep out the rain well. I like that the top opens up wide and then adjusts tightly around the ankle so they don't fall off. They have a lot of traction on the bottom and not good for the way toddlers run. My daughter just turned 2 and has tripped a few times as they are different to walk in than tennis shoes but overall i am happy. Her daycare goes outside rain or shine and these will keep her warm and dry all winter. Love that they came in size 5. Hard to find boots that come this small and are also warm and weather proof.

Snug secure fit / Order a size up to get through a season
I'm very impressed with this boot, but wish I had ordered one size up. It fits perfectly today, but to get through a whole winter season, going one size larger wouldn't have hurt anything. The fit is secure and snug, which I love for a winter boot, while comfortable. My daughter has been wearing them around the house because she likes them. I'll probably end up buying a size up once we actually get some snow and ice. For sure, I am impressed with the brand and am happy to purchase more from them.

Very mild winter so our 19 month old wore these for the first time yesterday. He became obsessed with a slushy mud puddle and did nothing but jump up and down in it for what seemed like forever. Kept his feet super dry! His feet are wide and getting these on was a little bit of a struggle but with one pair of socks, a half size up fit (typically wears 6.5 but these are a 7). Hoping he'll get some wear out of these this spring before his feet grow again. Also really cute.

These boots are good. My 4 year old wears them to play in the snow at daycare. She can put them on by herself as it has only one velcro strap. The materials do keep out the water/snow and her foot is dry and warm (outside for about 30 minutes). I like that she is able to bend her ankle as some boots with this kind of bottom go up past he ankle and are hard on the ankle. The color is true to the picture. The boot is a bit heavy - but I haven't found a boot that does it's job that isn't.
