Great Value!

We were so pleased with these measuring spoons, that we ordered an extra set! I really like the depth of these spoons. Many measuring spoons are quite shallow, which makes it difficult when you’re measuring powders and liquids precisely. These are perfect and the color coding is great too. After you begin to use them, you won’t need to read the markings on the spoons anymore, as you’ll know which color corresponds to each measurement. This is good for long time use, as we had an older set of plastic measuring spoons that lost their letter markings from wear over time. We had to throw them out, because we never knew how much each one measured, even though the spoons themselves were still good. You are also able to detach the spoons, which makes for easy cleaning and handling. Good value for the price! I would definitely purchase these again!

Good measuring spoons and my chili is slowly getting better.

In my effort to create the world's most amazing chili, I've taken to requiring precise measurements. Long gone are the days where I could "eyeball it". My eyeballs aren't what they used to be and it's important that I document my recipe for future generations. For this arduous and, I daresay, noble task I required precise measuring spoons. I selected these based on the fact that the measurements seems to be precisely and clearly marked. You definitely don't want to make a mistake when adding 1 tbs of cumin instead of 1 tsp, now would you? My chili is slowly getting better and in the meantime, these seem to be helpful tools in the process. If you have similar culinary ambitions, or just want some decent measuring spoons for a decent price, you could certainly do worse than these.

Good, But Could Be Labeled Better

These are nice and do their job. The retainer snaps apart for you to separate out any one, or all, for more convenience. Minus one star for labeling. Orange and yellow spoons with white lettering are difficult to read, not to mention it'll probably get washed off eventually. My fault for buying them. That was pointed out in other reviews, but, while sorting through the myriad choices, I lost sight of that fact! On the up-side, my wife's recipes are much improved, as she's now measuring ingredients properly! She even remarked that she didn't realize how much a teaspoon of salt was! I'm happy with these, I just wish they were marked better.

Do what they do

Great product. Sturdy, accurate, cool colors since im one to match colors with certains things in life. Now when i see blue... i think 10 ml... and that green avocado is just screaming 7.5 ml. In all seriousness this is a very good product with one flaw in my eyes, The clasp thats hold all spoons in place is a simple push and secure type fastener, the only problem with this, say you want the biggest (15ml) spoon, you will have to remove every single spoon to get to it.. NOt the biggest problem in the world but something for the manufacturer to think about when scheming for future endeavors. Buy this product, no reason not too if you really need a set of measuring spoons. Plus if you lucky like me, you just might get a BOGO deal ;)

Good sturdy measuring spoons

I wanted a good quality measuring spoon set that I could keep all the spoons together yet also separate them if I will be using a spoon repeatedly with one item. The red clip holding the spoons together is very easy to open and close. The spoons are easy to handle and measure ingredients easily. My complaints are two: most likely the measurement labeling on the spoons will eventually rub off with use. So, I made a list of the colors and the measurements in case that happens. The labeling on the yellow spoon (1/4 teaspoon) is very difficult to read. White lettering on the darker spoons is no problem, not so easy on the yellow spoon.

Good spoons

I really needed more measuring spoons, so I bought these. I really like that they can be separate (the red piece in the picture holding them together can be taken off if desired). My other set of measuring spoons are all attached, so if you use one, they all go into the dishwasher, which is kind of annoying. I do think it's weird that they have a 1/2 tbsp spoon. You could always just fill the 1 tbsp halfway... I didn't pay attention to this when buying them and think it would be better if there were just 4 spoons.

It has a "half tablespoon" measure

The spoons are fine but the main reason I bought them is because I have couple of recipes that use a "half tablespoon" so that means 2 spoons, a teaspoon and a half teaspoon and twice the measuring.

Great spoon

Great spoons, love the different colors. Makes it fun to use and quickly to differentiate the different sizes. Feels high quality. The only thing is one of the white labels is fading a bit but this might be my fault. I was cleaning with a harsher scrub. After I only use with dishwasher and all okay. Would be nice if the label was ingrained and etched don’t have to worry it’ll wear away. But that would probably be expensive. Great deal!

These are very good spoons but gave 4stars because yellow spoon can hardly see white wording on yellow not good but very good for baking.

Wife and Toddler love them...what else matters?

Top notch, inexpensive, and exactly what we were looking for. There's not a ton to say here, but this is a great set. They're colorful to the point of being fun for a toddler to use as a spoon (trust me, he's tried). They don't spill unless you're a toddler.... They also don't break and are dishwasher safe. Top that all with the fact that they're $5 and you have a product that I can get behind. I don't feel like I'm in Bed, Bath, and Beyond spending $30 per spoon. My wife loves them too.
