Outstanding Luggage
This is the second Travelpro Platinum Elite 25" I have purchased in the last year. I originally researched for a Christmas gift for my college age son. I wanted to get him something that would take him through the college years and beyond. He loves his. I realized, I really needed to upgrade my luggage from 10 years ago and bought the same model in red. It has now flown both domestic and international with no issues. It moves so smoothly that if you are on a flat hard surface, it will just glide along with almost no help from your hand. I have a disabled daughter who had no issues moving this through the airport at all. The amount of space, the suit carrier and small zipped spots are easy to use and with the expander, there is plenty of room for a multiple week trip. I lent mine to a family member recently (she had an unwieldy hard sided heavy thing that was bigger than her). She was amazed that it moved so well, packed with extra room leftover and had an adjustable handle. She is currently looking at getting one of these as well now. With the warranty and quality that I can see after the airlines have beaten on this bag, it was definitely worth every cent, I am looking forward to many more trips with this bag! You will not be disappointed.

Looks nice. Seems to be a good quality. Probably too much space. How long will it last?
I upgraded to this bag after reading some trusted online testing sites, and am hoping that it will last longer than other, cheaper bags I have owned, years longer. So far, so good. The quality feels nice and the bag has good quality zippers and pulls. It is nicely designed. I like the color. It moves nicely through the airports and had good handles to lift. It is a bigger than I need and when full it is over the 50lb weight limit of airlines. However I like having a bit extra space since I live out of my bag when traveling. Plus I usually travel by car or train once I fly to where I am going, if and when I move. Often we are at a place for a week or more. So, it is nice to have only one bag with enough space, even if it is larger, and then adjusting the weight for the flight home.

A suitcase with stuff to fill it up already inside!!
This is a small carryon suitcase, perfect for a weekend. I bought it for a 6 week trip to europe via planes, trains and busses, including several work events, and am looking forward to trying to do a trip like this with a 21" wheeled suitcase and a 20L backpack. I took it on a 3-day to try it out; so far the zippers held up, it's easy to lift (I am a small lady and can lift it over my head fully packed), fits in the overheads on local planes (though I can't be sure of those teensy weensy european airlines), rolls almost too well (it almost got away from me a few times) and actually holds rather a lot. It came with a zip-in clear plastic bag for liquids, and a hanging unit that rolls up for dresses etc, which I doubt I'll use. It also has this weird compression thing in the middle that you can't remove, which snaps together when your suitcase is half full. I wish I could remove it, but it can't be done, and it seems a bit too much given how small the suitcase is. The case does expand with a zipper, the two front compartments are shallow and small, and after that is a laptop sized pocket, which I did put my computer in albeit with a padded sleeve to keep it safe. The suitcase also comes with a luggage tag in its own compartment, so don't buy any for this.Lastly, it has a charger port, which I haven't used yet. I kind of wish the compressor in the middle was removable. Other than that, so far so good. I'll update when I get back from my trip!

Purchased 29” Travel Pro
Purchased 29” elite soft side. This suit case is very large and can fit clothing etc… for two people easily. On the website appears light gray with standout leather trim. In person is charcoal color with dark brown heavy leather handle and trim. It is well worth the money spent with the manufacturer guarantee product. I am happy with the quality, and even happier that the suitcase was not light gray. Travel Pro, thank you!

Beautiful Carry On Bag
This is an extremely well made Carry On Suitcase. I have bought several Travel Pro suitcases over the years and they always hold up well. In fact, I have probably bought eight of them. The only thing with this bag that I would change is the wheels. They work great. However, their design leaves them exposed and unprotected. If this bag is ever checked they can be damaged. I have one Travel Pro, about four years old , that came off the luggage carousal and one of the wheels no longer worked. It became hard to wheel around after that. I wish they could figure out a way to protect the wheels from the baggage handlers. If this bag is thrown the wheels can get hit and they may not work anymore. I believe they are under a Warrenty for a while but realistically who is going to send this back to them. Overall, I love the quality and just bought two more of them.

3 years strong
3 years later and this is still going strong. The wheels are so smooth and I never have any trouble gliding around the airports. The outside pocket fits my laptop and is easy access as I tend to work on the plane. Thoughtful details like the bottom handle to lift is a great feature. The handle has also been solid and I like the different lengths. It took some getting used to with the opening not quite to the edge, but I’ve now learned to stuff things around the edges that allow me to put a lot in the suitcase. Definitely recommend and would buy again

Not carry on in Europe
This is a very well made piece of luggage but it is NOT considered carry on in Europe. Currently on a flight to Heathrow with a short layover then on to North America. Forced to check bags, have to pick them up at baggage collection at Heathrow and re-enter the airport rather than passing through as transit passengers. Couldn’t be more bitter right now as will likely miss connection’s. Just to be clear, my bag had approx 1/2 inch empty space at the top with the expansion zipper closed

Great for business travel
Travel in style with this bag. It looks and feels like a million bucks. Travels great, shows wear and tear really well. No regrets buying this. The only word of caution...okay two words... 1. If you expand this bag, put laptop in the outside sleeve zipper, it will not stand on it own, it will fall over. ..2. Secondly, if you expand this, you will get flagged by the airline for this not fitting in their carry-on frame. I had to check the bag in at the gate. But overall this is really well made and looks ammmmazing!

A fantastic carry-on: light weight, large, nice-looking, and super smooth
I love the brown color on this one - it's very classy. There's lots of room inside, and the wheels seems very durable. I trekked across many blocks of salt-covered Toronto and Montreal sidewalks and streets and I am pleased to report that the bag worked very well. You can tip it and use it on two wheels very easily. I was worried that maybe the little wheels would be bad on the rough surfaces, but they really work just fine so far. Size-wise, I had no trouble with the bag on Air Canada or WestJet, though I did have to gate check it a couple times. I love how smooth the wheels roll. I found myself sort of dribbling the bag left to right in front of me as I walked down one empty corridor. That's about as close to playing hockey as I get! The only negative I can think of is that the wheels can be too smooth for their own good. I actually had to grab the bag a couple times when standing still because the most imperceptible slope of the floor will cause it to start rolling away. Once I was really caught by surprise when standing in line at a ticket counter because the bag just wandered off on its own! It was a little spooky. I don't think it's actually haunted, though. I think it just has good ball bearings. For CAD$200, I'm very pleased.

Worth the extra cost
Travel pro has some cheaper lines that are just not worth it, but this line certainly is. My last travel pros lasted 25 years and I’m sure these will as well. Hi quality material. Be sure to register and keep your warranty info as you can actually repair these (I replaced my wheels in the last one after 15 years)
