Seems to be good

I've not actually used this yet, but so far it seems to be perfect for my needs. I The blue is a bit darker than I expected, but I can live with that. Also, I thought I ordered the one with the USB port, but upon reading the description again now, I see that this doesn't advertise that. This is ok, since I always pack with a small extra charger and the cord in my purse, when traveling. I didn't get this bag specifically for underseat ease, though it will work well for that when I do fly. I got it for short trips in my car, which is my preference, even when going across the U.S., and I wanted a small bag to conserve space and ease of use. I pack light clothes for layering, rolling my pants/leggings, and shirts, and a dress or two, and this so far has provided enough clothing to stretch to at least 4 -5 days, via mixing and matching my pants and tops. I still have room to pack in an extra pair of shoes, even at size12, by using a small separate packing pouch. There is plenty of room for my small laptop and a book or two, and my undies fit nicely into the zippered pouch provided, with extra space for a hanging garment if I need it. I like the way the top can be hinged for quick access, or laid back for digging deeper. Front zipper section provides space for another book, or note book, and pens and colored pencils if I want to work on art. I really like the elastic strap parts in the main compartment and one side for holding cables and cords, brushes and make up, and a charger or two. The side pockets are roomy enough for the quick access to those cords, and for storing my make up and toiletries. The roller handle tucks nicely away into its own zippered pocket, and is easy to pull out and push back. I've only rolled this little suit case around the house, but so far that is enough to compare it to other roller handles and the wheels that I've gotten frustrated with on other suitcases not as well made. The only thing I might call a problem is that the handle lockes only when it is pulled out to its furthest extension. While each separate extension does lock, the whole handle tends to push down when you push the case backwards, but this seems to make the turns easier than most, and it locks well when pulled all the way up. I'm more than pleased with the wheels themselves. It rolls smoothly. If I run into problems in future, I'll note them, but the case is well made nd seems sturdy. So... here's to looking forward with a travel bag that holds plenty, with out taking up too much space, and is easy on the back. Thanks. Fantastic Little Carry-on

I purchased this Travelpro under seat carry on to go to a long weekend trip to Florida and wanted to pack as lean as I could. This bag is a nightly little champ. I love it. It holds a surprising amount of clothing, enough for a 4-day trip, with enough room for an extra pair of shoes. Plus there are great little side pockets to fit toiletries and extras. A front pocket is good for small electronics or whatever will fit. Inside is a pocket with padding designed to protect a large tablet or laptop, but I had another bag for that, so I used it for my socks and undies. Although this is a roller not a spinner, the large in-line skate-type wheels are quite amazing. Very maneuverable, smooth being pulled behind you and also very steady when rolled in front of you. Much more maneuverable in fact that a somewhat larger spinner I have. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I love this little guy!

Just worked for basic blue roundtrip

This was nice and good for what I needed which was to have a 'personal item' with wheels. You can fit more in a backpack or soft bag but I have back issues and wanted the wheels. Lightweight, semi sturdy. I took the insert out, the zippers caught in places. It's good but for the price I wanted more but I've found with luggage that you overpay unless you're getting a Tumi or something so...is what it is?

Must be designed by person who actually travels!

I love this bag! It is great value for money and has ALL of the features I was looking for (and some I didn’t know I wanted) but was having an impossible time finding for a reasonable price. First, I needed a sturdy luggage stacking strap across the back. There is nothing more irritating than your personal item sliding off your carry on, right??? This one is very sturdy and has extra Velcro to get it nice and tight. Second, I did not want the bag to be so wide that it stuck out beyond the sides of my carry on. The width of this bag is the width of a standard carry on so you can roll both, stacked, down even the narrowest economy isle without detaching. Third, when stacked, I needed to have ample space to comfortably grip my carryon handle. Check. In addition to those must-haves, this bag also has a padded laptop sleeve and a slim, CLEAR waterproof bag with a hanger top, for toiletries or wet items, that also serves as a divider. The front pouch has elastic fasteners to keep phone, cords, extra battery etc. organized and easily accessible. This pouch also has room for a wallet, passport etc. and has double, open-zipper tabs so a lock can be used if desired. Furthermore, there are two, long side pouches for boarding passes, books, water bottles etc. The only other bag I could find that exactly met my needs costs $450.00.

Very nice, but doesn't fit Frontier

I really like the features of this bag - it's got the laptop sleeve and the liquids partition. It also has some good side pockets and front pocket storage. It wheels like a dream and despite how much weight is in it, it's super comfortable to pull around. However, I bought this bag for a Frontier flight and thought that since Spirit has the same size bag requirement that it would fit into Frontier's sizing model (which they make you do upon boarding at the gate). The front legs on the bag poke out too far. The way I filled the bag, the front pocket would never have fit. Due to a Frontier website issue, I ended up being forced to pay extra money at the gate. Really disappointed that this didn't workout. Maybe if the legs are removed and if the bag isn't fully filled, it could fit but I am not sure it's worth the risk. I will keep the bag since it's been used and it might help with future Spirit flights.

There is nothing the can't like about TP. The price, quality, design the works. This will suit my bigger TP bag the needed but I LOVE the size when I need to Carry on Only.

Nice bag, brand new but it came with a mildew smell to it, you might when to check where these are being stored, I kept it because I needed it for my flight the next day, nice bag thought, fits a lot in it for small bag.

Beautiful bag but has some drawbacks

This is a preliminary review, as I am still trying to figure out if I will be keeping this bag. I was looking for a rolling computer bag for commuting that I can also put other stuff in, such as a pair of office shoes, a sweater for when it gets cold in the office, a water bottle, umbrella, some books and other small items that one might need at work every day. So I purchased this rolling underseat bag as well as the Travelpro Platinum Magna 2 Spinner Tote, so my review will be a comparison between the 2. (Note: I purchased the Travelpro Platinum Magna 2 at a significant discount so the 2 bags actually cost me about the same.) Pros: I purchased the Maxlite 5 in dusty rose and in conjunction with the curves, it is a very pretty bag. It reminds me a lot more of an everyday work bag, whereas the Platinum Magna 2 looks like a piece of carry-on luggage. So in terms of looks, the Maxlite 5 wins for me, hands down. The Maxlite 5 is 2lbs. lighter than the Platinum Magna 2, so if you need to carry the bag up and down stairs or onto and off trains, etc., the Maxlite 5 is the winner. Of course, the Maxlite 5's materials are not as sturdy as the Platinum Magna 2, but it is totally acceptable. The Platinum Magana 2 is in a completely different price range than the Maxlite 5, at double the price, so I don't expect the Maxlite 5 to be as sturdy as the Platinum Magna 2. In fact, I think the Platinum Magna 2 may be overkill for my purposes. Cons: For me, there were 2 main cons about this bag, both of which are deal beakers. First, the description says that the handle has 2 stops, one at 38" and one at 42.5". The bag I received did have 2 stops, but it did not lock at 38", so when I pulled on the handle to walk forward, the handle would extend to the maximum at 42.5", which is too long for my 5'4" height. It would have been perfect at the 38" height, but it did not lock. I'm not sure if this was a defect in the one I got and I am trying to figure that out. However, I read at least one review on another website that said they too found that it did not lock at the 38" height. Of course, the Platinum Magna 2's handles are topnotch and does lock at both the highest and second highest levels. My Dell Latitude E7450 laptop with published dimensions of approx. 13.3 x 9.1 x 0.8 inches did not fit in the padded laptop/ipad sleeve. I tried to jam it in but it just wouldn't go in. I suppose if you had a laptop that was just a bit smaller than mine, it would fit, but you'd really have to try it to see. The Platinum Magna 2 had 2 padded laptop/ipad pockets and my laptop did fit into the bigger of the 2. Conclusion: The Maxlite 5 has 2 wheels but the Platinum Magna 2 has 4 spinner wheels. I don't know which I prefer for my purposes so I didn't list either of them as a pro or con. At this point, I really love the looks of the Maxlite 5, but it looks like the Platinum Magna 2 is the more practical of the 2 for my purposes.

Almost Perfect.

I was looking for a 2-3 day light weight bag that would easily fit under the seat of most aircraft. Finding space for carry on is getting more difficult especially when I am one of the last zones to board. This bag has plenty of space for a 3 day trip. I packed an extra suite (pant and jacket) sleep and leisure wear. The pics show the size compared to a backpack and how easily it fit under the seat of the Air Canada flights I took (Airbus 320 and 333). It fit with room to spare. The rolling was very smooth and easily rolled through parking lots as well as airports. The only issue that makes this slightly less than perfect is the lack of adjustability on the handle length. It is quite long and follows a fair way behind which can be slightly challenging in crowded areas. If the handle had a mid-point stop it would be perfect.

Great quality bag but not for me

Wish I could have kept this bag as it’s from a Canadian company (made in China) and it’s a well constructed quality bag, but two issues I could not live with and one disappointment. 1) disappointment - the handle only stopped at the highest length 2) there is a well padded laptop sleeve inside the suitcase, which will be an advantage to some, but not me. I only carry my iPad & iPhone so this was wasted space. Wish it had been detachable. 3) biggest irritant - the 2 side flaps that hold the material cover for the clothes inside the suitcase has one snap at the top and the rest is a VELCRO strip. May be some people don’t mind dealing with snagging Velcro when packing/unpacking but that would have bothered me too much. So if these issues don’t bother you, get this bag. It’s really well made. It might be a bit bulky for an underseater in some airlines though. It’s not on the small side especially if you fill the two side pockets.

Great size for travel

This is a great purchase. It is lightweight, but seems durable. The handle is long. The one thing I found is a small negative is the fact it only has two wheels that go either backwards or forwards. I felt at times I was lifting the bag to change direction, if it was a small move. Otherwise I really like it.

Cute little bag

Nice small travel bag for my 7yr old (was on sale on amazon day). Due to her height we had to make the handle shorter and in the beginning of the trip it would click (with a little bit attention) into place at a height that would work for her. At the end of the trip that did not work anymore. I may just put a screw in it so it won’t move but that should not have to be the case. Other than that it’s a nice bag and she is happy with it
