GREAT value!

The most important feature for me was the two wheels rather than 4 spinning wheels. I love 4 wheels on a larger suitcase, but a carry-on should have two. Two recessed wheels are stronger - less likely to be pulled off, or bent, or damaged when going long distances on uneven surfaces. Two wheeled bags don't suddenly start rolling away. And most importantly.... the size of the actual bag is larger since the wheels don't take up 2 of the allowable inches of length for carry-ons. This bag is unbelievably light-weight, and despite being small it feels spacious. I was able to fit all my hiking gear and clothing for a 3 week walking trip in Ireland without unzipping the expansion part (admittedly I am a small person so my clothes are small). Even filled, I won't have trouble hefting it up into an overhead bin. It comes with a cabin bag which looks substantial in the photo but is rather too small to be of any use. I can't vouch for durability but the fabric seems substantial, and in any case, carry-ons don't get banged about as much as checked bags.

Not spinner wheels

Very nice set, lots of options when deciding which bags to bring along with us. We’re using the carry on and the small briefcase style carry on more frequently than the large checked bag, but have used the packing cubes inside whatever bags we have used for several different trips and have been very pleased with how they stand up to daily use. The largest checked bag held 2 1/2 weeks worth of clothing and shoes easily, and was not overweight at the ticket counter. The carry on is just right for a 3-4 day trip and is easily placed in overhead bin on Jet Blue, Delta and American Airlines flights so far. The small briefcase style slides right under seat in front of you, and I have started using that for 2 night trips when I want to get on and off a flight with no worries about needing overhead bin space. Packing cubes are perfect for cosmetics, socks and underwear, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. I love a neatly packed suitcase and these make it easy. I ordered the orange set, since it’s always a sea of black bags on the luggage carousel, and they have survived having been checked several times with minimal scuffs.

Great except for the handle

We ordered this luggage and have used it once. I really like almost everything about it, including the pockets, zippers, and size. My only criticism is the telescoping handle feels like it is not very well-made. We will see how it holds up. Also, I ordered this in used condition and got something that looked brand new. It does not have wheels that spin 360°, so that is why I did not give the highest rating to maneuverability.

2 piece luggage review - my first purchase of “used” item from Amazon

I ordered this after returning another piece similar , just preferred a different color and decided to go with the 2 piece set. The 21” is great for carry on which I wanted, however the smaller bag that came with it is just so so. If I ordered them separately I would return the small one however nothing wrong with it just not for me. My experience with “used”: I’d do it again !! I think this item was a return item to warehouse. Nothing about it was used. I LOVE the tag on the outside of the shipping box, it read something like “ thanks for giving me another chance at life !!” Such a great thing to say for buying used. Love this Amazon !

I liked the color because it is easy to recognize . The bag is roomy. Plenty of space for a weeks worth of clothing!

good size

I bought this for my wife and I on overnight trips. and occasional use. Works very nice easy to get in and out of cars and motel's. To me the extendable handle is a light duty, but have not had any problems with it. Recently took it on a plane trip. worked fine as a carry on. But on one of the planes it was to tall to fit in the overhead bin, but was able to turn side ways. The skate type wheels are not replaceable, and if you are using it for airplane travel buy one of the spinners, easer to get down the isles. I you are going to use it a lot, monthly or more buy a heaver duty bag.

My "Go-to" luggage

I own this bag in red. I purchased it about six years ago and have average about 4 trips per year with it. I am currently shopping for its replacement. Let me explain the things I love about it. I bought this as part of a patched set and appreciate this in my search of the baggage carousel. The bag’s construction is sturdy and the contents are well protected. There are cubbies or pouches in the most protected corners for safe storage of breakables; they WORK. It is spacious enough to hold a week’s worth of hanging clothes and still have room for everything else I need on a weeklong trip (shoes, toiletries, small clothes, chargers/cables, etc.). The interior shows no wear after 6 years of use all internal parts work as well today as the day I bought it. The telescoping handle is sturdy enough to work well with this bag and a carry-on bag attached to it. It extends to a comfortable height and does a good job controlling the bag while rushing to make a flight. The wheels likewise are large enough to roll well, even in the under-construction airports & airport parking lots which seem to litter our continent. This handle telescoped completely and stores inside a zippered pocket. This garment bag came with handles, a should strap, and the telescoping handle. Here are the things I would change about this piece of luggage. The design is such that when it falls over, it always false face down on the only colorful part of the bag. It makes the luggage one more anonymous black bag on the airport carousel. This also puts the most textured and decorative portion of the bag the side baggage handlers use to slide the bag, which has resulted in much wear and actual tear to the “Nice” side of the bag. The first trip I used the bag the shoulder strap broke. Looking at it later, the swivel snap portion seemed to be formed from a lesser quality metal than the other pieces of the strap and this is what broke. In all fairness I believe this was a quality control error made by the subcontractor from whom they purchased the hardware and not a reflection on Travel Select’s design or manufacture. I have used this bag more than any other in the set. I use it for business travel and vacation travel. It is more worn than any other piece in the set, as is should be. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and it is my “Go-to” luggage. If I could, I would change a few things about this garment bag. They are making this bag for a variety of people with a variety of needs and travel styles, so I would not try to correct the balance issue with the bag falling on its “Face”. I would make the entire bag the same color on all sides, I would select a less textured clothe (while it looks great, it snags on everything in baggage handling), make the metal tubing of the collapsible handle one gauge thicker, and add a check of hardware quality before using it on the luggage. In my current search for a replacement, I may end up buying a new copy of what I already own.

A great set of luggage!

I bought this set for a European tour and I was thrilled with them. This is a great set of luggage, and the price I got it for made it even better! I'm not super strong but I was more than able to haul my bags on and off trains. The wheels are inlaid so they're more resilient to bumps. I don't like the 4-wheel bags because they tend to take up too much storage room, so the 2-wheel design was perfect. There is so much space in these as well - most of the pockets expand, and the zippers are strong enough to resist a little bit of tension. The handles and carrying straps do loosen somewhat after use, but so far they've stood the test of time. I wasn't expecting to use the smaller laptop bag, but it is super convenient! So much storage, and I love that it slides comfortable onto the other pieces of luggage. Overall - price = great, quality = great. Highly recommended!

Attention Jamais une valise moyenne etre si petite

Ma valise moyenne a roues alignés a rendu l ame apres plus de 10 ans de voyages abusifs. Je n aime pas les valises a roues pivotantes, trop fragiles, ne roulent bien que dans les aéroports, s empilent tres mal les unes dans les autres et vous suivent mal. J ai trouvé cette valise moyenne Travelers Choice, je l ai recue et retournée immédiatement car trop petite,,, la hauteur est égale a une valise moyenne mais la largeur est 3 pouces de moins que mes autres valises moyennes, donc impossible. Par contre elle semble etre de bonne qualité. J ai acheté une Travelpro Maxlite 26 pouces pour remplacer cette valise Travellers Choice,,,

Great set of luggage so far

I haven't had proper use of them yet but they are great quality so far, various sizes make packing a breeze. Lots of pockets in inside of lid makes it easy to organize. A few issues with the pull-out handle on one of the smaller ones where one side wouldn't come out as far as the other side. Otherwise, great condition and happy with my purchase.

Qualité limite sur les poignées

J ai acheté 2 valises a roues paralleles en meme temps, cette Travel-Choice et une Travel-Pro de meme grandeur. La qualité générale de la Travel-Pro était supérieure a la Travel-Choice mais le prix aussi était supérieure de 75$ a la Travel-Choice que j ai eu a rabais a 85$. Donc J ai retourné cette Tavel-Choice malgré qu elle peut faire l affaire pour 90% du monde. Elle est tres belle et pratique. La faiblesse est au niveau des poignées et de la poignée extensible, mais ce n est que mon impression, je ne l ai pas testé sur une longue run. Les roues, le tissus et les zippers semblent OK.
