Functional girth for the price

Have been using this girth a few times a week for 6 months or so and so far it is holding up really well. It hasn't chafed the pony, holds the saddle in place well and for an inexpensive girth it's doing the job. It's basically canvas on the outside so not suitable for the horse show but it works.

Nice girth for the money

Nice girth for the money. The elastic is great for my horse. I just do gentle hacking 3 or 4 times a week. This is perfect for me. I would recommend it.

So, weird story: I recently discovered that I needed a teensy tiny Itty bitty girth, and I had one of these floating around that had been replaced with a nicer one, so wasn't in use. Sacrifices must be made to the miniature horse gods, so I hacked this one down. Inside, it's JUST dense foam (EVA?) wrapped in canvas, with a single layer of nylon strap for structure and support. I've put about two years of hunting on another one of these things, but I'm not sure I trust it now. My newly 10 inch girth will do in a pinch, though.

The Tough 1 Padded Cotton English Girth was just what I was looking for. It is good quality and fits just right for the horse it was purchased for.

Utilitarian. As expected.

This suited me for informal purposes, getting my horse used to being saddled and girthed. Quality is as would be expected for this low price.

quality of fabric

The fabric was a bit rough for my horse so I went to a fleece girth. Well made but not a fan of that type of material on a girth. I waited too long to send it back as I purchased in winter and just tried it now that spring is finally here.
