Perfect for Cookies--but Medium seems Small
I bought this spatula to replace one that had broken after years of use. It's a great design, and we love it. But it turns out it was the "Large" one we'd had before. This "Medium" spatula is pretty small. Check measurements before you buy--I wish I had. :)

Good to get cookies off cookie sheets
This spatula is very thin and works really well to get cookies off a cookie sheet. It isn’t as good to for removing eggs from a pan because depending on the size of your egg the spatula will bend a bit. But handle is sturdy in the hand. Like this for easy off jobs.

perfect for cookies
I love this spatula for easing warm undercooked (my preference) cookies off the cookie sheet. Its flexible and sturdy. I give it as a housewarming gift as well because it’s a must.

Not a bulldozer!
So thin it slides right under everything you cook. Flipped over it's an excellent pan scraper. The bad news is it's so thin that it's tempting to use the tip for light cutting and chopping in the skillet. Those spot welds held up for 11 months with this abuse, but one side has now broken loose. Used correctly, this turner will undoubtedly last many years. The good news is I've just discovered there are two sizes, so both are coming tomorrow! 3 reasons not to cut and chop with the thin/sharp tip. You weaken the spot welds. Even in ceramic-type nonstick skillets, you can scratch or mar the surface when it slips. There is tension on the blade, so you will flip food across the room more than once. The spot weld issue notwithstanding, this turner is one of the best tools I've ever owned. I like it so much I'd take time out of my day to make a review on Amazon about it. Highly recommended for people who cook food in a skillet. (bulldozer enthusiasts, pass this one by)

Lasted 15 months before the catastrophic failure
It was great until it wasn’t. I’m not sure if I’ll replace it, probably not. All 4 tiny welds (holding handle to blade) let loose at the same time in the middle of making breakfast,

Thin
For the first little while, when using this spatula to scrape pans out, in the inverted manner, it catches a little bit. But once the sharp edge is eased ever-so-slightly, there is nothing that I have found that is more effect for this use, i.e., cleaning, or scraping the bulk of burnt and stuck on stuff from stainless frypans, etc. Other than that, when it is used to turn food, it can get under anything with ease. Also, it is very strong when pushing against its curvature. This design is simply effective.

Breaks frequently
Great flexibility for flipping eggs. Keep buying even though it breaks after a year or two.

OK
I needed a flexible spatula to use with my cast iron frying pan. The silicon spatula worked well being flat but was a bit thick and finally discarded because it was clearly effected by the high temperature and shedding bits and chemicals. All the Oxo items I have have been excellent and this was no exception. However, two things made it less than ideal. Firstly it’s not flat as it’s slightly concave and secondly it’s not flexible enough to get down the upstanding edge of the pan to reach the edge of the flat surface. So for example it is difficult to get cleanly the edge under a pancake. This would be more useful as a flipper with a flat griddle or crepe pan or for smaller items in a larger pan.

Works great with cast iron pan
I bought this thin metal spatula (egg flipper) to use when cooking eggs in a cast iron. I found that nylon and silicone ones left a lot of egg mess in the pan and another metal one I bought was too stiff to get under the eggs. This spatula works great! It is very thin and while it might feel flimsy, it gets all of the egg out of the pan without breaking the yolk. My only complaint is that the parts of the handle that attach to the flipper are a little sharp.

These are fansastic
Not for use with non-stick unless you are very careful, but for omelettes, burgers, steaks, pancakes these Oxo turners are the best. Have both the medium and the large.

Quality

Good but could be thicker
It's good and certainly thin, but mine bent on the first day when trying to flip an omelette. It would be nice if the metal was maybe an extra 0.5mm thick so it could be a little more durable. Aside from that, it's really sharp which is great for cast iron skillets. Just make sure you use it with lighter items like a grilled cheese, a piece of fish or a hamburger.
