good spatula, especially for pancakes and burgers
i initially thought this was just a large slotted spatula when i ordered it. when it arrived i realized my mistake. this is a grill spatula, that's the reason for the heavy duty design and large wood handle. lucky for me it still works well for indoor use. i wanted a spatula that as a sharp lip on it as i find that best for pancakes. this one works great for that. additionally its wide enough to not have to worry about messing up the flip and getting wonky pancakes. it being made for outdoor use means its extra durable and will last a good long time. so, while its comically large hanging in my kitchen, i don't care. it works well and is well made, and I'm glad i got it, no matter how funny it looks next to my other spatulas.

Gaint Spatula
This thing is huge. The working surface is bigger than 4"x5" inches. Made from high quality stainless steel and hardwood. Tight fitting handle. This should be able to handle 1/2 lbs hamberburgers with ease. I am looking forward to trying this with pancakes as it should make extra large pancakes easier to flip. The only negative I noted was the front beveled edge is not polished. It has a slightly rough texture that might catch on the food you are trying to get under.

Large Spatula
This large, slotted spatula is perfect for the grill. Gave to my grandson who loves it. Will probably last forever.

Nice heavy duty spatula
This has been a perfect addition to my grilling tools. It scrapes well and is very well made. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that I am a small person and it is a little heavy for me. My husband thinks its great. The size is perfect for just about anything that I grell.

huge!
This flipper is nice, but way bigger than I was expecting. I was going to use in on the stove with my cookware, but its more for the grill or for larger stuff in the oven on a sheet pan. You could also use for serving out of catering pans too since its metal and isn't going to bend like the plastic or nylon ones everyone has.

This turner is a beast.
TL;DR SUMMARY This turner can comfortably fit two 12-ounce cans on the slotted head and is made with excellent materials, quality craftsmanship, and good handling proportions. ————— WHAT I LIKED: This thing is hefty. Not only can you flip a T-Bone, but it can be used as a chopper for ground meat or carne asada, and the acacia wood handle has a good grip form factor. WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE: Not much to say here. WHO MIGHT WANT THIS: Anyone looking for an A+ turner for grilling and griddle work. ————— MY EXPERIENCE: Since it is December, outdoor grilling in Seattle in December is ridiculous. I used it for making paninis and browning some ground beef. It performed flawlessly for these tasks. It will be critical when grilling season returns in July. CONCERNS / CALL-OUTS / NICE-TO-HAVES: I do have to emphasize the size and build of this turner--it will not bend and can comfortably fit two 12-ounce cans. ————— WHAT CAME IN THE BOX: (1) Stainless steel, acacia wood handle, slotted turner. (1) Product tag with care instructions.

Perfect Spatula!
We've been looking for steel spatula for use in our iron skillet and this one is perfect. It's wider than most spatulas and works great with anything including smash burgers. It's made of stainless steel and has an Acacia wood handle. It's easy to control, has a good feel to it but it it's not heavy. It's also great for the grill. Hand washing is quick. It's well made and should last a lifetime.

Bigger and heavier than I thought, useful on a cast grill or for close work on BBQ.
I was hoping to use this as a pancake turner, but it's a little overkill. It's pretty big to use in most frying pans, so better on a grill or a griddle. I have some grill pans but unless it's a really good coating of the best ceramic, it might damage the surface of some. That said, BBQ is a nice use for this some poorly used turners I've used allow the burgers to get broken up and fall into the grates. It works well for things to do close work on a BBQ grill to turn brats and jumbo hot dogs. This worked pretty good for cooking large pancakes on my stovetop cast grill, and for cooking those large meatless burgers. The chrome, sharp tapered edge in front allows me to get under an 8" pancake and flip it in one motion. Same goes for jumbo fried eggs. I thought hash browns would be a problem, but even though there are large gaps, when cooking they stick together so you can turn a large portion at once. Big enough for turning unusual, shaped items like chicken, fish fillets. This is probably a little hefty for work with a fry pan. It does work well with casseroles or thinks like baked mac and cheese. You can use it to cut free and scoop up serving squares in a large ceramic dish. Not quite as delicate as I thought you could probably use as a chopper, but still pretty nice. Recommended.
