High quality but didn’t fit

Wanted to like this, but was just too big. I ordered my usual size, 2X. I’m small busted and just don’t think this style was for me, so was returned

Small and weird :/

When I saw this collab upcoming, I was SO excited. I love the concept of The Drop and really love the commitment to size inclusivity. More than that though, when I saw The Drop was partnering with a plus sized influencer, I got EXTRA excited because us big folks know what works well for each other. I placed my order on launch day and began the wait. Well, everything came today and to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. This top looked SO PROMISING online. The details! The fit! Wow. You rarely find something with this kind of tailoring in plus world, so I was so excited. When I went to put the shirt on, I was surprised by how small it seemed. I normally wear a 24/26, but because I know sizing can be weird and I wanted to be safe, I got a 4x. Per the size chart on here, a 4x should fit a size 28-30. I should have been swimming in this top. I was. . . not swimming. It fit, but was straining at the bust. One major selling point for me was that on her Insta, Natalie said the final version of the top would have an extra closure for modesty. I thought this was great because I don't always want my whole chichi city out. Unfortunately, there was no extra modesty closure on what I received. My biggest issue though were the sleeves. The cuffs are really tight with zero stretch, so you can't adjust the sleeve up your arm at all. This wouldn't be an issue except the arms weren't long enough, so the top pulled at my shoulder and at my wrist on both sides. To be clear: I'm not a long limbed girl at all (I'm 5'4'' with limbs to match). Wildly enough, I also got this top in the tropical print. The tropical version was longer and looser. Still a little tight in the arms but not nearly as bad as the black one. So, I'll be keeping that one (the only item out of my haul I'll be keeping). For the price point and the long wait, I just expected better than this blouse. This fat girl is tired of overpaying for low quality stuff that is uncomfortable and doesn't fit right. So, back to Amazon it goes.

Sizing way off!

SO DISAPPOINTED I've been following Natalie for years and was really excited by her collection but the sizing is WAY off, this was meant to be designed with plus sized people in mind. I have ordered other items from The Drop before so went with the same sizes, L for tops as I'm a UK16/18 and M for trousers as I have a slightly smaller waist as a UK14/16. As another review mentioned, Natalie said on social media that there would be a modestly clasp on these tops but there wasn't one, they also run extremely small. Loved the tropical print and the black one could have been a great staple but my bra was very exposed, the waist a bit tight and the arms were too tight. Just noticed the amazon size guide says a 42in bust is a UK20 which is incorrect (should be a 16/18) so think they need to go back to the drawing board with their whole sizing model! So disappointed as I ordered one of everything and nothing fits!

Good, could be better!

I love the look and feel of this top! It’s got a slight shine and sexy cut. I should have ordered a smaller size, I ordered the XXL Gröben Gröben which I think equals a 3xl. The top material isn’t stretchy but there is a large elastic panel in the back which makes the shirts expand a lot. I was disappointed that there wasn’t an additional closure added above the buttons, it’s great for a night out but maybe a bit to much for day to day, it definitely shows your bra. The top was also a bit long for my short torso, no skin showing at all but it still looks great! If I am able to try a smaller size I will, otherwise I will keep this one. The cuffs on the top are tight, I can’t lift the sleeve to see my watch. All in all, it’s a beautiful top and will look great with a variety of bottoms and skirt options. For reference I am about 100d (dd42) bra size.
