a nice take on traditional winter gear

I have been veering back into wearing beanie style hats along with gloves during the winter. When I say back to- this is in reference referring to my childhood when the only type of winter hat around was a wool based knitted kind. When I entered my teenage yeas I transitioned to mainly hooded sweatshirt variations in place of a hat. Now that I am wearing clothes that are fine tuned to my work environment and the appearance necessary to look great I am wearing matching winter gear which then has led me back to the traditional styles. With this nice looking and effective cap and scarf set from the trusted Tommy Hilfiger brand I have found the perfect take on a standard classic. What is unique about this set is although it is of a solid color it display the brand logo which adds a nice bit of color and detail to the set. I like how the dominant grey of the scarf and hat is of a lighter shade, which then makes the logo stripes that much more of a standout. I am new to scarfs and after wearing this neat one from this set I am hooked. I love how this one is very thick and encompasses you whole neck and then some. I have a slight sensitivity in my back neck region so having the fabric thick and heat trapping allows for me to bypass that uncomfortable sensation usually present. I like to go on walk down long wooded trails during the winter in a casual way which often produced a wind tunnel effect in those long paths. Having the scarf with this thickness blocks out the wind gusts not to mention snow flurries if they are happening at the time. The grey color with that slight bit of red and white looks great with most clothes so matching will be easy. In conclusion I am super happy with this set and recommend it to Tommy Hilfiger fans as well as people who appreciate quality winter gear.

Attractive men's set

The temperature dropped out of nowhere yesterday after a record "Indian summer" so this scarf and hat set came just in time. The mornings are cool and my son loves this set because it matches his navy blue pea coat. The material is soft and of great quality and the subtle logo/stripes add a nice detail for a casual yet fashionable look. This would make a great gift!

Very Nice Scarf/Beanie Combo

I like Hilfiger wear and I was interested in this knit cap/scarf combo. It is a nice set and I will be wearing it more as the weather gets colder. This is a basic scarf and knit beanie combo. These are almost all gray with the exception of the red, white and blue stripes that identify it as Hilfiger clothing. The gray matches almost everything so this is an accessory set that can be worn without too much worry about clashes. The material is a soft, stretchy weave. I was a little concerned about the beanie at first as I have trouble finding headwear that actually fits me. This one stretches enough to fit my big head without being too tight. That's all I can ask. The scarf is very basic - no tassels and no distinguishing features to identify it beyond the logo stripe. Looking these over I have found no problems - no holes, snags, pills or loose threading. I have not gotten these wet to determine how water resistant these are. I'm happy with this set and will be wearing both the scarf and beanie this winter. Both are warm, comfortable, and they match with just about everything.

Collegiate Look But Nice For Any Age, Ribbed w/ Stretch, Soft & Warm, Synthetic Blend (50% Recycled)

This is a good looking one-size-fits-all Tommy Hilfiger (Tommy) scarf and beanie set. It’s nice for any adult, but has that collegiate look I associate with Tommy clothing and accessories. It’s perfect for my son who’s in college and likes Tommy tees and almost always wears jeans. I like the style, and the red, white and blue trim looks good with the main grey color. The grey appears to have some intentional color variation from blending different color fibers (that look grey and white to me). The set is proportioned well and looks especially good with blue or black jeans. The scarf and beanie are made of the same knit-like fiber and feel soft, thick and warm. The set has some stretch to it and, although it looks like a wool blend, the tags say it’s a polyester (83%) and nylon (13%) blend made from a minimum of 50% recycled fibers. The edges of the scarf and beanie look well-finished and don’t seem prone to unravel, though the fabric is a little fuzzy so I can’t say if fibers will pull apart (but no issue yet). The MSRP on the tag is $88. This set needs to be hand washed in cold water. Love it. 5 stars.

Soft, warm, and stylish

I got this for my son, and the following is his review: Both the hat and the scarf are very thick. I have not been able to try the set out in colder weather yet, but have been warmed up quickly in milder conditions. The material is very soft, and my wife and I thought at first that it was cashmere (we’re simple people, and anything soft feels like cashmere), but we were surprised to find it is just polyester and nylon. The scarf is long and wide, and the hat is deep. These traits combined allow you to cozy up with a pulled-down hat and cinched-up scarf. To entertain your children, it also allows you to pretend like you are a ninja with only your eyes showing. The design is simple but handsome, and the Tommy Hilfiger design is readily apparent. With this set, you certainly pay for the Tommy brand. Cheaper scarves and hats abound, but for the fashion-conscious, this is a great set.

Nice and stylish!

This hat and scarf set is awesome. The hat is one size fits all, fits nice and snug, not too tight to hurt your heard or anything like that. It's nice and comfortable and doesn't itch your head. The scarf keeps you nice and warm. The set is a nice stylish color that you can use any time. This set is a must have for every cold weather. I love it!

I mean it’s very gender neutral and super warm

I don’t know about this men’s set but I got this for me because it’s super cold in the mountains and I needed something super warm for myself and honestly I think it’s great for me or my husband. Set comes in very well put together I did take it apart as long just got this for me and honestly this is really really warm and cozy. Very stretchy and great quality. I do think it looks better on my husband but honestly he doesn’t mind to share with me. As far as warmth it’s outstanding, yes colors a bit dull but honestly I don’t mind as it’s my mountains set and all I care is staying warm! We love it!
