Good, might be a little small for older pre teeth babies
Luckily my fourth baby agrees to taking pacifiers and doesn't seem picky. I am also EBF and she doesn't seem too confused. She always has been a bit lazy at shallow latching but she eventually latches ok. This has been since birth. I hope the paci use isn't making her continue this behavior. She does seem to prefer the round paci rather than an orthodontic one. We were given the Avent soother at the hospital and she likes that. I found these since I need more. They are very soft and flexible. The round body part though is hard plastic (for some reason I thought it would be silky silicone too or something). I think it is unnecesssey to have so many holes around the base of the nipple because sometimes it causes loss of suction if her lips aren't formed exactly just so. Sometimes I hear clacking noise as she sucks, not sure why. At least you can attach a paci strap which Avent does not. I have read silicone quality isn't created equal and cheaper ones can leach heavy metals including lead. I contacted the company and they didn't know but emailed me today with the answer "I have raised the questions you asked and can confirm that our soothers are made of medical grade silicone that does not have any traces of heavy metals or lead" So hope this answers any quality/toxicity concerns someone else other than me have about this. The pacifier does seem a bit small considering this is for babies without teeth and that could be 6-9 months for many! My baby is 4.5 weeks and it seems like it just is ok for her.

Great pacifier
All my kids have always preferred this brand over other so when I saw that they had this type of pacifier, I had to try it out. My 14 month old loves these and had no issue getting used to it but my 4 month old needs help keeping it in. I’d say it’s a little bit heavy for a newborn or infant to keep in the first few times but I’m sure my 4 month old will be get used to it. They’re really easy to clean and I like that it’s just one piece, no handles or anything like that, I like the round shape and that the colors are easy to match with different outfits. I know the pacifier is meant to be like a breast if you’re breastfeeding but I found that it doesn’t really make a difference, your baby will either like it or not regardless of being breast or bottle fed. I would definitely recommend giving this pacifier a try though.

Happy to find these
I bought these after my baby was born. I didn’t think I would need them at first but so happy I got them. They don’t give my baby nipple confusion and help relieve some of the pain caused by my little constantly wanting to nurse or just be latched for comfort.

Best paci we found
Like that this design has limited plastic, and the small amount of plastic is really useful for being able to attach pacifier clips. Also the heavy weight of the plastic and flat back means that when they get dropped they almost always land with the nipple up off the ground. Baby prefers these to the other 8 brands we ended up trying.

Great for breastfed babies
My child would not take a paci to save his life. We tried ALL of them!! I finally found these and figured why not. He loves them! I would highly recommend for breastfed babies. The pacifier nipple made such a big difference.

Great pacifier for picky babies
My baby girl loves these pacifiers. After trying numerous other brands and styles to no avail these are the only ones my baby will use.

A little big for small babies
We love these! We use tommee tippee bottles and the packs are the same so no confusion. Deff recommend breastfeeding or formula. It does gag my son sometimes but he is small. Other than that he loves them.

Just like Mama! Look no further!
Okay I know it sounds crazy but we gave this to our son when he was 7 months old. At 2 months old after trying close to a dozen different pacifiers (we call them a chupo) we gave up all together on our son taking one. This was fine with us as with breastfeeding we had ALL the fun issues; thrush, latch issues, mastitis, overactive letdown, smaller than normal mouth on baby with larger than normal nipple on mama. Not kidding. Once we got everything taken care of we were golden but we birthed our child at a hospital that not only encourages breastfeeding, you have to get a physician’s order for your child to get formula. They do not recommend an artificial nipple such as a bottle or a chupo at all and then if preferred by the parent at 6 weeks to avoid some of the above mentioned issues. We were completely on board as we wanting to succeed with breastfeeding. We only introduced our child to a chupo twice before 6 weeks at the insistence of Daddy who honestly believed that would calm the baby down. It did not work exactly as Mama said as baby wanted Mama for comfort nursing and feeding. At our one month checkup the pediatrician felt our son wasn’t gaining enough weight and recommended we give him formula twice a day. So even though we hadn’t wanted to use an artificial nipple we needed to. Enter in Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles. These nipples are just like Mama. Guess what? Baby drank from the bottle like a champ first time out the gate. And returned to the breast with zero problems. Actually made feeding easier. When they say closer to nature, they mean it! Baby is 9 months and uses these bottles as he doesn’t nurse anymore but still gets breast milk and formula ( we use Holle) daily. Now as to why we tried THIS chupo at 7 months. My son has had multiple ear infections, swallow issues, acid reflux, sleep apnea, early teething and a few more problems. He needed to be able to self soothe when he was hurting and he had begun screaming and crying until he was hoarse and pulled his hair out. Gripe water and teething tablets can only go so far when they only solve the little problems. So when doing my usual middle of the night research I came across a blog where other mothers had babies that were experiencing the same thing and they spoke of giving their children an old nipple from a bottle they would take if they wouldn’t take a chupo. We didn’t have any to spare so off I go to Amazon and I came across these. Now our son has a smaller than normal mouth so he got the smaller size and when he was offered it the first time he not only took it, he relaxed and was able to nap and sleep better on his own and hair grew back and we have a much much much happier child. As he’s grown he doesn’t need it all the time but any time he’s fussy/sick/overtired we offer it. The pack came with 4. We use one for nighttime that stays in his crib, two with clipped straps for daytime and outings and the 4th we gave to a mommy who has a 2 month old who would not take a chupo either. Her first child did but was formula fed only but baby #2 is EBF and takes this chupo with zero issues. This is THE pacifier to give your child. Whether they are EBF, bottle and breast or bottle only, this is where you should start.

Dangerous
My 5 and a half month old got his thumb STUCK under the pacifier. It took me approximately a minute to get it out because of how swollen his thumb was. His thumb got stuck under the pacifier clip area (no clip was attached). These pacifiers are DANGEROUS

Great
I like that you can fit your finger in the teat of the dummy to help hold it in your baby' mouth, great for when our little girl ia juat starting. They do look muxh more like nipples than normal dummies so that's good however, I have noticed a slight difference in my little girl's laych since we started using them at 6 weeks - these are thw only dummies that we have ever used. The latch issue could just be my little one or dummies in general. We do like these and have bought more packs, don't plan to use any other types.

Too hard and heavy for young baby
I bought these as they do look alot more breast nipple shaped then others I just got them after my daughter who is 10 weeks has rejected every teat known to man but sadly because they are very hard and thick and heavy she refuses to entertain them smaller babies would have an even harder time trying to keep hold of them in their mouths I'd say these are more for the older baby to be honest sad as it's more money wasted :( the package has been opened and so non returnable.

Great for breastfed babies
These dummies are great for breastfed babies and my little one found lots of comfort suckling on this dummy however we bought the 0-6m size and they are far too heavy for a small baby to keep in their mouth which meant lots of waking through the night to return the dummy. For that reason we stopped using these.
