I got these to access some otherwise inaccessible screws. It was hard to get exact dimensions on them, so here you go (also see pictures): Thumb wheel diameter: 25 mm Diameter of the tube with the hex hole: 12 mm Total length with a 25 mm bit: 40 mm (it adds 15 mm) Total length with a 25 mm bit, if you cut off the square stud: 35 mm (it adds 10 mm) Consider that this is not a premium tool - I wouldn't be surprised if there were small differences in dimensions between individual samples. Quality is pretty good considering that you pay about $3 a piece. They are all metal and there is no way that you would break them if you turn them by hand only. I suppose you could break them if you use them in combination with a ratchet and put a lot of torque on them, but that's quite clearly not what they are for. As an alternative to access small spaces, I recommend thisAres bit ratchet . See the reviews there for exact dimensions.

A little too big for the intended use.

I thought they were ratcheting, they are not. They are too big for tight places and lack ratcheting. They do look good in your screwdriver drawer, good thing because that's where they will stay.

Get into Cramped Spaces

Years ago I saw these as change makers at the convenience store. Did not buy one then, knew a cable installer who had one on his key chain and was always using it as his go to tool. When my life evolved such that I needed one I could not find it because I did not know what it was called. I sketched one and went to dozens of hardware and big box stores. No one had ever seen one or heard of one. Then I changed my descriptor in the Amazon search box to include "finger" and there was exactly what I need. You don't need one now and you have needed one in the past and you will need one in the future. Best to buy two or three sets because when people see you using it they will sit with puppy dog eyes and whimper until you give them one of your three. You'll see.

Great for a tight space.

Great for starting screws. One would have been sufficient since I won’t use it often.

Inexpensive useful finger drive set

For a non-ratcheting finger drive, this is a simple, and generally well-made set that works well for an occasional job that requires this type of close control within tight spaces. These are magnetized to hold the drive bit from falling out, however the magnet in one of the units ended up sticking to the bit rather than staying the socket - a nuisance that dropped a star from my rating. I have had to get an epoxy to glue the magnet into the base of the socket to prevent this from re-occurring. In retrospect, I would probably just use a micro-small hand ratchet - a number of sets exist at the same price point and they offer ratcheting performance.

For precision or tight spaces

I used this product in conjunction with 1/4” hex bits in tight spaces. It works perfectly for my specific application of repair of medical devices. You can get a great tactile response when turning making it great for adjusting optics.

Cracking Tool

Now when I see these kind of tools, I think they look a bit of a novelty item. But after seeing them being used by a colleague on site and trying them out for myself. I simply had to grab a set. They are an incredibly handy tool to have in the too kit, can be a time and frustration saver in tight spaces. You can get a surprisingly good amount of grip and turn some tight little blighters of screws too. The Drivers are well made, look cool and will make a fan of anyone you let use them.

Nice colours, work well.

They look cute and are well made. You can add different bits in if required which works great. I find them handy for tight corners and have already used them for starting jobs that needed finisihing with a full sized screwdriver.

Just-fine, non-ratcheting drives but watch the magnets

Out of my three, a magnet relentlessly comes loose in one of them, and in order to make another one useful for my purposes I had to press the gold casing off of the useful part of the drive.

They are not ratcheting but they are not advertised as such so my mistake.

Great for really tight areas but I prefer ratcheting mechanisms.
