I buy a new pair of timberlands every year and wouldn’t change it.

Would’ve given it 5 stars if not for the fit. The tongue is super thick with lots of padding which is great but after about a week you keep cinching the laces tighter because the padding compresses. But once you get that right it’s all good. Comfortable and dry. Should’ve gotten them sooner.

Solid boots

So far I love these boots. I have used Timberland Pros as work boots for two years now. My last pair just wore out after two years of getting worked hard. I then switched to this hiking boot because the leather wore out which might have last longer with some added care. But I walk a lot, dig, kick, climb, and in all sorts of manner of conditions so I thought I would give the hiking style a try. So far they feel even more comfortable and are as good as if not better than the last pros I used. One bit of caution is that these boots do not breathe well. So when it is hot your sweat builds up inside. It is a trade off between water proof or sweat and I opt for the sweat which is easier to deal and cope with than getting soaked. Other negative is wear the boots are manufactured.

I like this boot

I like this boot. It fit's about the same as Nike's. The boot is pretty bulky, and like the description says, does add about 1 1/2" to your height. They are comfortable, but has taken about a week to break in. If you're not use to wearing work boots like I am, then it takes some getting use to walking with them. I had to "Frankenstein" walk with them for the first day until I learned how to walk with them. They don't run too much warmer then say some Air Jordan's, but they are heavily padded. These boots give you peace of mind knowing that if there were a zombie apocalypse, your feet will be ok. I work in a Woodshop, and I suspect they should last me for years.

Love these boots so far.

It's only been a week since my purchase so I don't quite know how much longevity they have yet but I'm verry happy with my purchase so far.

Quality is not very good

In all honesty, the quality was pretty poor for $140 Timberland Pro boots.I expected MUCH better. On the 1st pair I noticed the left boot had the black coming off the outsole exposing bright red....see the picture. If I rubbed it lightly more would easily come off. I could only imagine how these would look in no time of wearing them. Amazon was SUPER easy about exchanging them. I looked the 2nd pair over fairly good and the stitching job on the 2nd pair was clearly done by a new hire in the Chinese factory. It was not good at all. The 1st pair, which I still had at this point, were sewn together much better, but the outsole was bad. So, I took the lesser of the two evils and kept the 2nd pair. I was in no mood to go for a 3rd pair....God knows what I would had gotten! This was my 1st pair of Timberland boots and I am very disappointed in the quality. I'm doubtful I'll get another pair of Timberland anything.

Great pair of boots

Like the fit , perfect for work. Im on my feet 8 to 10hrs a day. Im an electrician and can honestly say these boots are great.
