Good mid-grade sunglasses

These are a decent set of mid-quality sunglasses. The frame is stylish and comfortable. There is visible branding on the temples and lens but it's subtle. They look more upscale than a pair of drug store or convenience store sunglasses but aren't quite up to the quality of a decent pair of Ray Bans or similar. This is body or lens quality. The polarized lenses are good but I can see the difference in quality between these and my higher-end sunglasses. These are slightly darker and less clear than my better quality lenses. All of the differences between these and my other glasses are negligible except for the the case. The case is biodegradable but it's constructed of a flimsy paper type material that provides virtually no crush or impact protection and feels like it will become soggy and destroyed if allowed to get wet. It's a nice shipping and gifting case but I wouldn't use as my everyday carrying case. Case aside, I like the styling of these sunglasses and they go great with coordinating outfits. Even if relaxing in basic hues, they don't stick out or look tacky.

Nice, but not for me

I really want to like these sunglasses. They use 35% of bio-based plastic and the case is primarily comprised of recycled material, and I'll cheer any brand that makes an effort to recycle. They look fine and they feel lightweight but fairly high quality. I just don't love the styling. The contrasting temples look pretty fun, but I don't think they suit me at all. Even so, I'll recommend these glasses. The price seems fair for what they are. The Timberland branding isn't too in your face, and if the frames suit your face you'll probably like them.

Real Eye Protection, Real Comfort

Every once in a while I'm reminded of the old adage "You get what you pay for." A friend and I took our regular weekly trip into the valley for fresh produce recently. Long story short, I forgot my glasses and bought a replacement pair when we stopped for gas. We drive east in the morning and west in the afternoon on these trips, so the whole day is spent driving into the sun. My new gas station glasses looked every bit as good as my Timberland glasses, but the ride in the sun was the biggest proof that they didn't compare with the quality. By the end of the day, I had a headache and my eyes hurt and looked red. On our next run, I made sure to have my Timberline sunglasses. As is normal when wearing them, at the end of the day I didn't experience any of the pain or fatigue that I experienced with the cheap glasses. I recommend these for being comfortable and good looking, but mostly for the protection provided to my eyes. Just because a little sticker says glasses are polarized and have UV protection, doesn't make it's true. For your eyes, get a brand that's trusted. Get Timberline.

Excellent vision, design, fit

It's easy to get a pair of sunglasses that are very stylish and look good for a reasonable price-- they claim polarization even-- but that polarization is not high quality and you can't look at a smartphone screen or a GPS screen in your car without having to tilt your head side to side or seeing strange rainbow patterns in the lense. These are HIGH quality lenses with HIGH quality polarization. The style is fine-- I like the style. What I really like about them though is the design-- there is minimal contact of the product to your face and ears-- just by the way they're designed-- and it is a breath of fresh air. You don't feel squeezed in the skull, minimizes sweat points and overall leaves a really comfortable fit. This is great. I will definitely keep this brand in mind in the future because of the quality, fit, price and also because of the environmental approach with the plastic-- which is worth reading up on. I never fight doing better when and where we can-- it's a no brainer.

Comfortable, nice looking sunglasses

These are my first pair of sunglasses I've ever owned from Timberland, I like them and the way that they look. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I really like the blue accents on the arms and the shape of the frames reminds me of Wayfarers but with a more modern look.

Love these simple sunglasses.

I really like these sunglasses. They're comfortable, have a little bit of style with the bright yellow, and are inexpensive enough to lose when things go wrong someday. As sunglasses, they work very well - they prevent the sun glare and make it easy to see while driving and the like. The container is garbage - I think it's cardboard. I tossed it immediately and replaced it with another older case I owned.

Comfortable and stylish...

My husband is pleased with his new Timberland Men's Tba9269 Rectangular Sunglasses. He finds them comfortable, which is his main concern. They look good too, but I don't think he cares about that. He's happy with the lightweight polarized polycarbonate lenses. They shade out just enough sun and also provide protection from harmful sun rays.
