Just as good as Oral B head

I've bought the knockoffs to save a few bucks but they just don't compare to getting the OEM version. The fit on these is perfect with no loose bristles are found anywhere. The brush head lasts longer than the other knockoffs as well. They will fit in most Oral B electric toothbrushes except the iO series and some others.

Replacements for Oral-B Cross Action

My son has an Oral-B toothbrush and we buy Cross Action replacement brushes for him. Typically, non Oral-B branded brush heads aren’t the same quality as the name brand ones so we have mostly stuck to the good ones. We had the opportunity to try out these Amazon branded “Perfect Angle” replacement brush heads, which are supposed toe the equivalent of the Cross Action heads. They do sit down on the Oral B brush tightly (but not too tight) and are easy to take on and off. I like that they are also color coded so it’s easy to identify if you have multiple people using the toothbrush. These are not exact replacements for the Oral B models. The heads don’t seem the same exact stiffness (these seem to be a medium brush) and the bristles seem to be further apart. The bristles are angled and do a good job at getting our teeth clean. I also like that they have “bacteria defense” to prevent them from getting mildew on them. Overall, these are an ok value - not super - and they seem to do a good job with cleaning teeth. I think we like the Oral B brand name ones more but these are the best non-brand named ones we have found yet.

Amazon Basics Perfect Angle Replacement Brush Heads, 3 Count, 1-Pack I have had no problem with these replacement heads. They seem to work as well as brand name. They last as long. They fit my toothbrush well and are not loose like some other off brands I’ve tried. My biggest problem is the price. They are really not much cheaper than the brand name and in some cases they seem to be more expensive. Amazon has some good deals on the brand name. I’ll just stick with the brand name over these, unless they come down in price.

Not much cheaper than the name brand heads

I have used a lot of replacement heads since I started using an electric toothbrush (over ten years ago) and all have done an acceptable job. Amazon is full of Chinese clones, which generally work fine, but some of them are significantly lower quality and require replacement more quickly or have stiffer bristles. This product is the near the quality as the original name brand except that they only have one style of cross brushing bristles in the package. The price is also closer to the name brand, rather than true unbranded generics. Unlike some of the cheap replacements this also has the wear indicator to remind you to change the brush head. Surprisingly you'll notice these are made in the USA from the package, not in China, which likely accounts for the higher cost. However, the Oral B heads aren't actually that much more expensive than these. So absent a better value, I'd shop around and these Amazon branded heads aren't really a superb value at current pricing.

Review of Amazon Basics Perfect Angle Replacement Brush Heads, 3 Count, 1-Pack @ $19.84 at time of review, $21.99 at time of order. I really like these replacement brush heads for my Oral B electric toothbrush. They're soft like my dentist recommends. They have a slight twist in the bristles as shown in the ad photos. They fit my Oral B toothbrush perfectly. I like the little color-coded rings already being in place on the bases of the brush heads. I've had others that have to be put on the brush heads by the user, which some ended up on the floor or in the sink. As long as they hold up, which I don't see why they wouldn't, they will be great. I deducted 1 star due to pricing for a generic type of replacement. Right here on Amazon, you can buy a 4-pack of brand name replacement heads with the same brush heads for $21.41. So, as it is right now, for less than $2, you can get an extra replacement head if you buy the name brand. I hope this helps someone decide whether or not to purchase this item.

Smaller brush head, not as thorough, but good value

Replacement brush heads are very expensive, so it’s good to have value options like this. It’s definitely basic, as the name says. You’ll find it’s a bit smaller than the original brush head that came with your electric brush and the bristles are not as compact. It is generally a medium-firm brush, but because the bristles fan out quite a bit, I found it didn’t give me as good of a cleaning as the higher priced brand. (As you would expect.) But with a little extra brushing, it did the job. If you are looking to cut costs but want a brand you know, this is a good option.
