I like it

Price is reasonable, have you seen the price of the other ones? I really had to get one, my other two bit the dust long ago. Most of these are metal, which means no microwaving, so yeah these work just fine and the price isnt too bad, still got my arm and a leg, didnt have to sell off the kids and their toys. Ty Amazon, couldnt find yhe plastic ones anywhere else

The bomb tumbler

This tumbler is everything I needed. I work for an Armor car company that requires me to have everything I bring in clear and see through. I love coffee and haven’t been able to bring coffee with me to work in a long time because I couldn’t find a clear thermos to carry it in. This tumbler is amazing. I was thinking once I pour my hot coffee in I wouldn’t be able hold the tumbler because it would be too hot to hold. Boy was I wrong.

So good to keep coffee hot!

Love these mugs. They keep coffee or hot tea hot for a long time. I threw out my ceramic mugs. These are very durable. I've had the first one I bought over 10 years.

Does not hold16 oz. of fluid. If you use the lid, you might get in 12 oz. total.

It would be nice if these tumblers, with lids, held 16 oz of fluid.... but they don't. They hold 12oz. if you use the lid. Although I like that they keep things hot or cold, and don't leak, but it would be nice if they held the amount of liquid, as stated. I was disappointed when I selected 14oz of coffee, from my coffee maker, to dispense into my new cup, only to discover it was pouring over the rim of the cup before the coffee maker was finished. Come on guys, you can do better.

Good quality bottle

Bottle is good, rugged and simple. Only issue is to open up lid requires two hands. I'll keep eye out for alternative caps that fit this cup.

does not keep temp

The coffee brewed at 190 f poured it into the cup lid on, one hour later just sitting on the table 130 f cup does not hold temp, I also filled the cup with hot water before. disappointed

My Favorite Coffee Cup

I wanted a cup for when I make iced lattes with a lid I could sip from and see my drink. These fit exactly what I wanted! You can still use a straw if you like as well. They are my absolute favorite cups for coffee. Definitely get some and give it a try, I don’t think you’ll regret it. Debating if I want the purple lid one now. I bought the two pack with the clear lids.

Big, keeps drinks warm (or cold) if cover's on, just wish cover is a bit more "sip friendly"

Got this Tervis 16 oz tumbler when I took up tea drinking. It's technically a little too big for the tea brower I bought, but that tea brewer is adaptable. And it fits nicely into the cup holder for my desk I ordered later. The handle is nicely sized, and I can fit all four fingers in there (or 3 fingers when gloved). The cover is marketed as sip friendly, but turns out it was only partially true. There is a slide lock that can keep the content closed and steaming, and if you open the slide lock you expose a small vent hole and a stipping crack. In my experience, this doesn't quite control the liquid coming out, but YMMV. The cup is considered a tumbler and while I didn't throw it on the ground, I have dropped it from desk height once or twice, and it's fine. Not with liquid inside though. That may have made a difference. I didn't really want to test how leakproof the lid is. It shoudl be adequate for most use cases. NOTE: this tumbler is narrower on the bottom, so it's not really stabilized, and the big and low handle would make it unsuitable for auto-use as it'd have a hard time fitting into cup holders that doesn't have a large "handle cutout". All in all, the whole cup is very nicely made and with proper care I expect it to last a long time. It is a good gift for people who drink tea or coffee at a desk or at home.

Perfect for daily use

I don't have to worry about spilling my drink or dropping it outside and breaking with this tervis glass. I had one previously and it keeps my drinks cold long enough for me. I like to be able to see what I am drinking and because this is clear I can do that.

Lid is not suitable for dishwasher...AT ALL

The silicon insert just above the clip rots after being washed top rack of dishwasher. Folks complain of bacteria growth inside same piece....have not experienced that but I clean it regularly with vinegar

it's smaller than I expected!

I ordered this thinking 16oz was big. It's really not! it's the same size as a medium mug--I am used to a bigger mug. However, this is really nice, keep my tea hot longer, and it doesn't hurt me holding the cup itself when it has hot water in it. I"ll highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't mind a medium mug. A note of warning, this is not car-friendly! the cup itself isn't straight up so it won't fit in the cup holder.

Works well

Anyone expecting to compare this to a Yeti, think again, but for all of us that can’t stand a metal taste, it works well. I bought this to drink my cold beer as I can’t handle the taste from a can or a metal cup(yeti) and after having 10 days of plus 30 degrees (Canadian Celsius, look it up) an 90+ humidity, I would say it kept my beer very cool. Definitely worth the money and it came exactly when they said it would.
