Darling print but not quite 72x72

From the packaging: “Hygge Geo”/made in China/handwash cold/72x72/100% polyester.... Ordered in black and white. I noticed several of the reviewers chose this for children’s bathrooms; I wondered if this curtain would appear too juvenile for my space since I’m closer to retirement than kindergarten. When it arrived I was pleased to see that the print, while whimsical, isn’t particularly childish. I’m a huge fan of bold graphics but I have a VERY small bathroom; turns out that while there’s a lot going on here, it isn’t chaotic or too busy to overwhelm the space. Yay! But… I have some Lush Decor window curtains that are of pretty low quality so I wasn’t expecting this to knock my socks off. And it doesn’t. This fabric is quite THIN and a bit shy of opaque. (However, even if used without a liner it would still provide some modesty in any lighting conditions). My biggest issue is the size—I seriously question that this is truly cut to 72”x72”. I was loath to pull out a tape measure to prove what I’m pretty certain of: Both width and length appear undersized. Every other curtain I’ve used in this bathroom, for 15 years, has hung lower; this one doesn’t fully reach the floor (and my rod is at the lowest it can go). As for the width, it’s really distracting that my 72x72 clear liner peeks out well over an inch on both sides. If my liner wasn’t clear this would look really odd. Usually the fine print says they’re allowed an inch or two of forgiveness with dimensions…so if that is the sort of thing that bugs you, you may want to look for a more reliable brand. It arrived with a light chemical odor, as imported textiles of this ilk tend to suffer. I opted to not wash mine before use and after a day or two, the odor subsided. The white is a true white, which I appreciate as it brightens up an otherwise dingy beige space. The design is printed well and I didn’t have to iron it as it wasn’t as deeply wrinkled as most tightly folded fabrics tend to be. I would prefer the piece to have grommets rather than a cheapy stitched eye, but they’re all cut generously so should work with a wide variety of hangers/rings. The price is decent so I won’t gripe too much about how thin it is. But I will gripe that it falls short of the stated 72x72 standard.

Material thin must be used with a liner

Kinda thin material shou ok be used with a liner or it will get drenched. Pretty and looks like the picture

Good for the price

Love the pattern on this shower curtain! So cute in the kids bath we just re-decorated. Wish it was a little thicker and more durable, not sure it will be water proof, but we will have a liner behind it anyway. Overall satisfied with this purchase ????

Color really looks black and not navy

It's like a low res image printed on a synthetic sheet. It's OK. It works fine. I will be finding a replacement soon, as I was hoping for something a little upscale.

Beautiful

This is the 3rd shower curtain I bought for my new home. I’m obsess with it every time I walk in the bathroom! Great quality for the money too! Doesn’t look cheap.

Thinner Fabric Than Expected

The pattern is lovely and I like it a lot, the fabric is very thin and required a good ironing to get the wrinkles out.

Really cute and not see through

Really cute pattern- very dark blue nearly black. You can not see through it. Good quality. I wish they came in a longer option.
