I feared ordering shoes online would not fit, but these Propéts are great!

I bought a pair of Propét sneakers at a local shoe store in April 2022, and the salesman made proper size measurements for that fit. He did not stock this shoe, however, so I took a chance and ordered this. I put them on shortly after they arrived less than a week ago, and they've only been off for bathing and sleeping since. I had already purchased high arch insoles at the same local shoe store, and they slipped in easily. These shoes are attractive, stunningly comfortable, provide great support, and are SO easy to wear! I'm going to buy some more!

Wonderful Sturdy Walking Shoes, TERRIFIC❤️

I bought these for my mother as she has worn these for years. She’s currently in a nursing facility on account of having a stroke. These are sturdy walking shoes and she asked me to order her these and she is very happy with them. I have a pair in black and I agree. If you have a tendency to have cold feet, these will keep your feet warm. In fact, my mother told me she used to wear them in the winter as well because of how sturdy they are. Propet have all kinds of shoes, boots and sandals. They are supportive and stylish. I have have a pair of sandals that I wear to work with my dress clothes. One thing I want to note: Amazon double checked with me before I purchased these because I purchased the previous pair in a different size and they thought I made an error and wanted to be sure before I placed the order. That’s great customer service and I appreciated that they wanted to be sure I ordered the correct size. Thank you.

Good Shoes for Disabled People

Good, solid, sturdy Velcro shoes. I bought these for my mother; she has trouble with fine motor control of her fingers and cannot easily tie her own shoes. It can end up being a safety issue. She can get her own shoes secured without having to ask someone else for help, which is nice for her. In an emergency, I think she would be able to get these on quickly enough that it wouldn't be a detriment. They stay on well and they're not so big she's tripping over them. They don't have that chunky sole that is getting popular again, so she can walk more easily. I would recommend these to anyone with physical issues where shoe tying is a problem. They're really easy to get on and off.

Feels very hard on top of my ankle

Order a 6 1/2 wide, these shoes were roomy, but the insole didn't have much support and they were so stiff they hurt the top of my foot.

Not A Good Fit For Me

I bought 2 pairs of the exact same shoe in different sizes, one in 81/2 M and another in 81/2 W. I wear orthotics and sometimes they won't fit in a medium shoe, even though that's how my foot measures. I wear an 81/2 in any shoe, and both these pairs of shoes were too short, my toes pushed against the end of the toe box. The orthotics definitely did not fit in the medium. The orthotics fit in the wide better but they still pushed out against the sides of the shoe. These are the narrowest orthotics I've ever had, and I've worn orthotics since the 1980's, so for them to push against the sides of the shoe isn't a good sign. At the same time, the 8 1/2W was too wide for my foot, it didn't provide the side support I needed. So, sadly, Propel isn't a brand I will be able to wear. I did find these shoes a bit heavy or clunky, too. I'm currently wearing SAS shoes and they look the same as the Propel shoe but they don't have the heavy, clunky look the Propel shoe has and they fit my orthotics well in the medium width. Propel is made in Europe and that may be why they tend to be slightly shorter/smaller than US made shoes. The velcro closures were plenty long enough and the shoes seemed to be very good quality.

Good looking shoe that is oh so comfortable

These are the most comfortable shoes I've purchased in a long time. I wanted a shoe that could do double duty, and serve both as a walking shoe but also as something I could wear to the office. The Vista Walker fills the bill. They are made of leather, and the velcro fasteners give the shoes a sleek look. In addition, I was able to slip them on and wear them for hours right out of the box. My feet are hard to fit and also tender. I always hated shopping for shoes, because for the next 3 months I had to deal with blisters while I was breaking them in. Not so with Propet. These fit perfectly, can accommodate socks or nylons and give the right amount of arch support. The soles also have a good grip without being squeaky. I was introduced to the Propet brand a few years ago. I had purchased a pair of running shoes that came with a 1000 mile guarantee. Those held up until I hit the 8000 mile mark and were still very comfortable after lots of heavy usage. I'm looking forward to wearing these for at least 2 to 3 years.

PERFECT FOR ME!

I have bone-on-bone osteoarthritis in my knees and a bunion and hammertoes on one foot. Needless to say, it is painful to stand or walk, and my quality of life has been affected. I have tried a long series of expensive shoes, because I am determined to stay as active as I can. I have a few styles of Sketchers that are comfortable, but these shoes are perfect for me. I ordered the size and width I normally wear, and they fit fine. I wear them with socks, but they feel fine without them. The heel gives me balance and are strong enough to keep my feet in alignment. Others have allowed me to walk on the side of my heels and let my feet control them. These are just what I needed for better balance and support. They are good looking shoes, too. I really like the roominess in the toe area. I think that is what is different from a similar pair. Mine are the Vista. All I can say is that they are perfect for me. The have done what surgery and shots could not do.

Comfortable walking shoes

The sizes are not clear in the description. I had to get a size 8.5 because the description told us the shoes were made narrower. They are a bit too big because I usually take a size 8 2E. But at least they are not tight. Thank you.
