good product
good product, served my purpose to install a new sink faucet by myself

Excellent tool! This will get the job done.
Like many others, I had to remove some old kitchen sink hardware and none of my wrenches could fit up in those tight spaces. This tool can. If I had the spare cash, I would buy every size available for working in tight spaces. The mechanism the tool uses to latch on is excellently machined. Some people were complaining it needs 2 hands to properly latch on, and while that makes it much easier, I was able to use a single hand to get the tool into position and latch the tool on. The steel used on the head and the handle are both super tough. I'm not worried about deformation at all. My only complaint has already been voiced, but here it is anyway. The little bar that comes with this tool to slide into the bottom and provide a handle for torque... doesn't have any mechanism holding it in besides gravity. Usually this tool will be used vertically, so it's not a huge problem, but I would love both some way to attach the bar to the rest of the tool, and to store it. If the product maker can fix this issue, they will -easily- have the best version of this tool on the market (compared even to other big store brands like Rigid). All in all, I could install my beautiful new sink, and I now have a spare tool for grabbing hex heads that thought they could escape!

Heavy solution
I bought this to tighten up a new kitchen faucet that required a wrench of this type due to how it was situated under the counter and behind the double sink. I would return the wrench if I had not used it. It did what I needed it to do. However, it is heavy. Holding it up and trying to turn the faucet nut was very tiring and frustrating. The frustrating part was that it does not stay on the nut easily. Trying to turn it around the hoses was difficult. Additionally the slide in handle fell out, once into my face when I was changing hands to turn the nut. I ended up putting duck tape on the other end so it would not slide out again.

Heavy Duty
Well built, heavy duty. Adjustable length handle, teeth grab well. I used it on an impossible to reach 1-5/8” faucet nut (10” under mount sink) up against drywall. I had to cut the drywall away to make room for the nut.

Better Than New Milwaukee
I bought the Milwaukee first and was very disappointed in its construction. The fixed jaw on mine had teeth pointed in the wrong direction...the wrench would not grip but merely slide. The Tekton at least had the teeth pointing in the right direction. I was able to tighten my loose faucet. My biggest complaint about this Tekton is the T-handle just falls out. There is no way to secure in in the handle. Maybe this is by design so you can use a longer lever if needed but I find it a royal pain. I am considering heating up the one end and smacking it flat with a hammer. Come to think of it, I likely wouldn't need heat to do that.

Big basin wrench
worked for removing bath drain under a tub in a narrow space. Would be nice if the cross bar came with a removable rubberized cap to keep it from falling off Mildly concerned that the shaft metal might twist/distort/bend with applied force.

Great tool to have.
Worked great for replacing my and parents sink faucets, getting those water lines disconnected was no problem with this Basin wrench.

Does not grip well for some types of fasteners
I think that this tool probably would work well on plastic fasteners. It likely would work well on metal fasteners with very well-defined edges. However I was trying to use it on a metal nut that is 1 1/2 or maybe 1 5/8 inches. It is a hexagonal nut and the 6 angled edges are a bit rounded. The tool was able to grab and turn the nut but only once out of every 50 attempts. I think if the nut did not have rounded edges the tool would have worked better. I don't really want to fault the tool. It is sold in 4 sizes and I bought the largest size (up to 2 1/2 inches). I suspect that if I'd bought the tool that is one step smaller it would have worked better. In my application there is a drain pipe directly underneath the nut that I'm tightening. The handle on the tool interferes with that. Although you can turn the handle a bit to one side it makes it trickier to latch onto the nut. This tool has excellent build quality and I'm not unhappy that I bought it. I can see that it will work for many applications. I've found though what I think will work better for my particular issue. I have ordered a "crowfoot wrench". That is basically a wrench without a handle on it.

Head does not catch on bolts well
Not a fan of this basin wrench. While it's solid made, functionally it just doesn't work all that well. The teeth are a bit too smooth and don't catch nuts well enough to apply any significant amount of torque. I found this kept slipping whenever I tried to loosen any bolts. Even if it did catch, I found that the shape and design actually wouldn't make my life that much easier in a confined space. Personally I just went back to using my spanner set to loosen bolts under my sink. Would not recommend

Fantastic for tightening new kitchen faucet
This is fantastic for loosening / tightening the bolt securing the kitchen faucet to the quartz countertop. It is flexible with the head flipping 180 degrees, and the extension lengths fit the operation you are undertaking. This tool feels well made and will certainly last if taken care of.
