Such a pretty thing

I just started dating someone after being out of the game for quite a while and I wanted to get something sexy, not garish. I looked and looked...some of the stuff out there...phew! Anyway, saw this and thought, that looks nice, sexy, but not overdone and I can use it as a slip. Bonus! So I got a medium and it could not fit better. I'm a little "plump" (I like to think of myself as 2-ply, squeezably soft), 5'4" around 135 lbs 29-inch waist and a 36C cup ( a full one at that). This thing looks like it was tailored for me. It's snug, but not tight and I like where it hits me, just under my bum. I got the matching bikini underwear which I also really like. I might even get more of the underwear because it fits so nicely. I'm only detracting a star because the material isn't really soft. It's not outright scratchy, but it is most definitely not silky by any means. Maybe after several washes it might soften a bit, but that doesn't seem very likely. All in all, great product.

Gorgeous and extremely comfortable

The Wacol Embarce Lace Chemise is by far the most attractive chemise available in my opinion (unless you're will to pay significantly more and even then the Wacol chemise is hard to beat). It comes in so many wonderful colors and is unbelievably gorgeous with its delicate lace trim. The fabric has a luxurious feel and just makes you feel lovely. At this point I have 6 pairs which I use as a gown for sleeping in as well as a slip with my dresses. While it shouldn't be a surprise - I have found that I am much cooler in my dresses on those hot summer days and warmer in the winter. I am 5'6" and 129 lbs. I have gotten the large as so far that size has worked for me, but the medium probably fits me also as I typically get a small or medium in dress size. Something so pretty just makes you feel good and pretty as well. That in itself makes this chemise worth having. I will admit that they can be a bit pricey. However, you can sometimes find certain colors discounted as they are cleared out for newer color selections. Unfortunately, there are a few basic colors that I have never found on sale (e.g., white or black). No matter. I recommend the splurge, they are that pretty and comfortable. You deserve it.

Gorgeous, fits beautifully

This is GORGEOUS! I just received it in the mail and tried it on. I am writing this review to help you choose your size. I am 5’6”, 150#, a 36C bust and a 6/8/28 size in jeans. I ordered a large and it fits amazing. The lace is totally sheer, which is hard to tell from the product photos, but I’m happy with that. I ordered the blush color. I haven’t washed it so I don’t know how it holds up yet. But I’ll update this review after I wash it. The lace is absolutely gorgeous and looks very expensive. I got it on sale. I don’t think I would pay the full price for it. But $30 is worth it.

Camisoles, Anyone?

Although it seems a shame to cut off the beautiful lace at the bottom of the chemise, I have the seamstress turn these into finished-edge camisoles. In the wintertime, this provides just the right amount of extra warmth under clothing. In that way, I have three-piece matching underwear of a bra, panties, and a camisole. After all, while the chemise could be used as a slip or a nightgown, this gives a more practical usage.

Update 05/2017: Since my purchase of the Brown/Gold color, I've ordered three more as they went on sale. I wear them almost nightly because they're sexy and yet very comfortable. Also, just received the Tango Red/Coral Blush color and just to let you know that the pattern isn't white like it appears in the photo but a baby pink. I've had this in many colors in my Wish List for quite a while now waiting on a price drop because I didn't want to pay $60. Once the price went down, I read all the reviews and bought a size Large in the Brown/Gold color. It arrived today and it is beautiful! It also fit perfectly. I usually wear a size 8-10 with a 36DD chest and this fit like a dream. I hope the other colors go on sale so I can purchase more!

Quality is worth it

So, I took a chance on this...I'm 5'8" and 195 lbs so I'm a good sized gal. I read the reviews prior and ordered up as suggested. Am so glad I did. Normally, I'm an XL, so I ordered 2XL in black/white lace. It is shorter than I'd hoped but is just large enough to not be too clingy. An XL wouldn't have fit. There's not a lot of room, but it works. Is pricey, but worth it after I had previously ordered $20 junk that looked cheap and horrible on my real woman body. it is beautiful and sexy. This is a great brand.

I did like it, but I guess I'm too small up ...

I did like it, but I guess I'm too small up top for the average lady, the breast area puckered and looked silly, instead of filled out. I am 140lbs, 5'6" 36B sizes for reference, and I ordered a Med. Otherwise, it was such a beautiful chemise, the material is mesh, and seemed well made. The details were intricate and looked a lot prettier on than off. I would recommend this item if you are just a little more busty than myself, I guess.

Amazon firstly often has outstanding prices on these that department or lingerie stores cannot beat. I got this for $30 when it is regularly around $70. The whole lace embrace line is of very high quality. The chemise is stretchy and very flattering and the lace looks more expensive than it is. Really comfy to wear to bed

Since they stopped doing UK sizing (12, 14) etc it's been harder to find a size. The M is a small 12 if that is of any help to buyers. This is more than 50% cheaper elsewhere. So good value for money and generally keeps it shape and washes well.
