Convenient storage

Came without instructions, but my amazing husband was able to still put it together. I like this storage, is much sturdier than our oldest one, that is like $70, less expensive than this one. The wood definitely is more solid and heavier, and the finish is more smooth. I like the storage part with the door, as pictured, is great and spacious enough to put some towels and save some space from my hallway closets; that was the point of getting this storage for our second bathroom. Compared to my old one, I can't complain on the prize of this one as I clearly can see the difference in space, quality and durability. This piece is worth the price and is excellent storage space and looks chic in the bathroom. The only thing I will point out I didn't like it is that for the price, I was expecting plastic covers for the holes, and not just white paper stickers...

Holds so much!

This not only looks good and sturdy but it holds a lot. This cabinet holds about 45 bottles of hand soap and body was from bath and body works. I was so surprised. Got it all out of my closet and a place I can easily get to to use it. Love it.

Awesome cabinet, bought a 2nd one!

I bought this lil cabinet to add a bit more storage space in my bathroom before I sold the house. I loved it so much, I bought another one for my new house. The instructions aren't idiot-proof, but it's honestly not that hard to put together. The trick is to take your time when assembling. The only tool you need is a Phillips head screwdriver. It's a very sturdy cabinet and an amazing value. It looks really nice too. I will say, it does take two people to hang it on the wall.

Disappointing material

Don’t waste your money mom this flimsy thing! It’s not worth $90 and the wood split in some places during assembly. Only came with one shelf and is overall just a huge disappointment

Lots of storage - confusing assembly at times

We have a half bath in our bedroom that needed some storage and thought this would work well as the space is small and this didn’t appear too big. It’s actually a great size and doesn’t jet out too much at all. The assembly wasn’t too terrible however there were some issues. Some of the screws and where they went didn’t quite match up. I had to switch them around to get it to work. The particle board that you nail to the back seems almost too small to cover the back as it barely fits. I also had a difficult time figuring out the hinges and which way they went for the cabinet door to open - but this may just be me as I’m dyslexic. However, once all is said and done - it looks nice and offers quite a bit of storage which is what we really needed. The shelves are deep enough and the top of the shelf even offers some extra space. It looks a lot nicer than a wire shelf as well. The cabinet door also stays closed when you close it - doesn’t just swing open like some do. Overall - we really like this over the toilet shelf and fits perfectly in our half bath.

Easy to assemble, looks fine, only a few quibbles.

This item: Elegant Home Fashions Newport Bathroom Cabinet, White What You Get: A particle board cabinet in brushed white finish. Decent size, excellent storage space but only ‘good’ or ‘average” construction materials. While pleasing to the eye, the overall construction of this cabinet is designed to save cost, not to build a durable and permanent fixture for your home. As mentioned by another astute reviewer, you have to be very careful with the assembly and installation to avoid cracking the material and ruining the aesthetic. Overall, it’s not difficult to assemble but it’s also not difficult to damage if you’re not careful. “Durable MDF” is not “Durable Wood” as in the description, MDF is particle board and you can judge for yourself just how “durable” that material is. When it comes to installing on your wall, make sure you follow the sage adage of “measure twice, cut once” or, in this case, measure a few times and screw once. The mounting holes are not USA standard, since this unit is manufactured in China. You will be installing a unit that is nearly 17 pound in weight so make certain that you find your wall studs to avoid any damage or future slippage. That aside, once you have your cabinet installed, it looks good and functions well. You can store a lot in there but just be aware of the weight load that you put in there. I was unable to find any mention of a weight load and, since it’s not a light unit to begin with, you need to be very conscious of how much extra weight you add to it. Be careful – as you would with any cabinet installation, of course. The hardware is packaged safely in a sealed bag. Instructions are on par with most illustration based step-by-step print outs. Not great but not indecipherable. If you follow along step-by-step you should be finished in about 20 to 30 minutes. The hinge configuration may take a minute or two to figure out because it’s not made clear in the illustration. I realize that my review up to this point sounds fairly negative but, don’t get me wrong, as long as you are prepared for what you get, this isn’t a bad cabinet at all. In fact, the visual appeal is quite nice and, once installed, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve got. Overall Value: For the price ($100.25 at the time of this review), you are getting a fairly good value here. Take your time during assembly and installation and you will be quite happy. Full disclosure: I acquired this through the Amazon Vine program but I was doing a renovation at the time and, had I purchased it at full retail price, I’d still be happy with it. Seller: Cabinet took a couple of weeks to arrive but it was packaged safely and had no shipping damage.

A million pieces

We felt like we were facing an Ikea project. There were so many pieces and hard to follow instructions. We returned it.
