Well if you actually use these in a bed rail you will soon notice rust and then you will likely spend hours researching metal to learn that 1018 steel with black oxide coating (which will scrape off with first screwing) is not what you want for you're automotive application and you'll save your self the aggravation of becoming a metalologist for an afternoon by just buying stainless steal bolts from the start. Other then the rust they are solid and fit in the track well.

Threads very rough
The bolts did not thread into these very smoothly. It was minor for one; a bit tough to get two of them all the way in. I had to use tools to get the bolt to thread thru the last two. Had to take them to the work bench, put them in a vice, add some WD40 to the threads, and use a ratchet and bolt to clear the threads. That bolt still works, but it sure took a beating. Going with 3 stars because now that the threads are clear and the bolts go in and out smoothly, these work just as I had hoped they would. Just not happy with what I had to do to get them there. I didn't see this mentioned in any of the reviews I read, so maybe I got a bad batch.

I bought these for a 2015 Tundra rail system. Others have reported that they work, and they seem like they should, with some caveats. First, they are not quite tall enough to full engage from behind the rail. If you tighten them too tight the top edge will start to come out. Second, you need to be sure you don't attach it in the notches that are cut into the rail system or it will definitely pull through and not attach properly. I would be happier with a t-slot nut that had bigger shoulders because it would fully engage the rail without risk of pulling out or going crooked.

These awesome little T-Nuts allow you to affix just about anything ...
I used these to Affix the Rocky Mounts HotRod Bike Racks to the bed rails on my Toyota Tacoma. They are amazig and I wish I would have discovered these years ago. These awesome little T-Nuts allow you to affix just about anything you could imagine to your bed-rails without having to find appropriately sized washers and trying to hold the nut still while threading a bolt into the cobby setup. These things are of a super high quality, and worth their weight in gold!

To whom this may concern, hopefully this makes it to the manufacturer. Please make this item 7/8" long or even slightly smaller. The reason being is that there are recessed slots in the Tacoma bed rails to prevent a T-bolt from sliding any further by falling in the slot. This slight adjustment and then advertising it, would be a definite 5 star glowing review. Luckily I have means of cutting them down myself.

Fit perfectly in 2008 Tacoma bed rails
The clamps to hold the rack to the bed didn't seem secure so I used a couple of these with some hardware store angle brackets and stainless bolts and it now seems much more secure. The fit and threads are perfect. They're quite heavy for their size and feel very robust

Not for Tundra
As you can see, these do NOT fit in the Tundra bed rail system. They are way too small and will be set back. Build quality seemed fine, just don't work with the Tundra system. They measure 22.24mm high. The stock tie downs measure 25.08mm high.

The product fits well on my 2006 tacoma
Product fits the bed rails nicely on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. Not sure how corrosion/ rust resistant they are as I just bought them, but I will also not be leaving them in the rails for extended periods of time
